Vaati searched and ate it again, keeping his eye son Kaze. Did he think Kaze even think he would let his treat his hands? He squired in Opal's arms, but the pain in his paws made him stop. He would have hissed too, but Vaati thought it pointless. He already hissed at Kaze.

"Vaati..." Opal sighed, looking at Vaati, tearing another piece of meat from the fish and continued to hand feed him. She brushed a stray blonde hair from her face.

"What?" Vaati reached for the other piece ofd bass then leaned back. "I'm done with the bass."

"Alright." She said, putting the remaining bass into the fridge and looked at her blood stained hands from the fish. "Sorry Vaati, can I put you down for a moment to wash my hands?" She asked, looking at the Lavender Cat.

Vaati nodded and jumped out of her arms. It took all of his will power not to scream in pain. He transformed and sat up, taking all the pressure of his hands. He stared at his hands, wondering how he could have burned them so bad.

Opal washed her hands off with a little water and took a fresh batch of cold damp bandages. She gently wrapped them around his hands.

"Is that necessary so soon?" Vaati asked, but he wasn't exactly complaining. The cold water felt so much better on his hands. He was ready to purr, but he kept the urge locked up.

"If you ever want to use those hands again, it is necessary." Opal explained, wiping her hands dry. She looked over at Vaati, seeing the sky darkening outside. "It's getting late." She murmured.

Vaati sighed, then shook his had. "You can transform..." Vaati shrugged as he laid down on the bed. He could turn to the side without much use of his hands.

Opal transformed into a blue kitten and curled up against his chest. Her ears folded back, feeling her little kitten body drift off to sleep. Her breath giving off a soft mew, tightly curling up her body. Her paws curled up falling asleep.

Vaati wanted to sleep, but he found himself unable to. He kept his hands on Opal, stroking her fur while he stared uncomfortably at the ceiling. Eventually, sleep conquered and he began to dream, shifting uncomfortably in his bed. He turned to the side, subconsciously placing Opal beside his pillow.

Opal mewed softly when she felt sunlight hit her fur. She yawned and stretched, looking over at Vaati to find him asleep. She jumped down from the bed, shifting forms, glancing back at Vaati and smiled softly. "Sleep well." She whispered kissing him on the cheek before walking off.

(Yay! I can finally do something!)
Kaze woke up and got out of bed. He dressed himself and walked outside of his room. He went over to Josline room and knocked on the door. "Josline, you awake yet?" Kaze called out, waiting for her reply.
Zathier was walking around the village yet again, slightly bored. He wondered if Opal and Vaati might be up, so he went back to the inn.

Vaati tossed and turned in bed before he sat up in bed. Pffttt... I'll make them pay. They're not much better that the silly Minish. He thought, his dream about his past stuck in his mind. He crawled out of bed and followed Opal out the door.
Alyssa woke up in her bed with Snowball stretched out beside her pillow. She changed her clothes and followed Zathier outside.
