In your eyes, I saw galaxies, endless fathoms, and starry skies. I heard your heart beat but knew it was empty inside. Night bled across your face, inky black, like your life. You swallowed the world whole, like it meant nothing to you at all. I reached my hand out to you, but we were separated by a wall of glass. My heart broke, but I could see that you were not hurt at all.
i wanted to do watercolour today but i have 0 time on wednesdays after work so i just tried to be artistic and failed with a picture i took at the eiffel tower last year sweatdrop i'll use watercolour for a different theme on a day where i have more time, i guess

Day 25 - Eiffel Tower ref. story about conman Victor Lustig who sold the Eiffel Tower for scrap metal twicexd
Damn. It'd be sad to have the site go. I met my fiancee on this site and he's next to me now! I also met some of my best friends here, but I have noticed the site turn to money-starved garbage. Actually, the only reason I have been logging on is this theme challenge haha.
I was also dismayed to find or, not find, rather... artists willing to trade their time for fake currency HAHA /dies. This site used to be a more reliable art-trade service in a round-about way. Pure art trades tend to end with me empty handed, but gaia gold used to be kind of like a go-between that the artist would be more willing to accept. okay sorry for the rant! END
I should add that I'm a pessimist. XD So take my dire warnings with a grain of salt (although I still wouldn't spend real money on the site.)
That's a really good point, about the how Gaia used to work for art trading like that and it doesn't so much anymore. It sucks to think of how hard I used to work for 1 mil gold, and then I was sitting on that gold when the inflation hit so now it's worthless. I'm now getting 1 mil offers for warm up sketches (not quite but close).
I wanted to get some couple art for my honey, but looks like I'll have to just blow my gold on what I can get. I saw 200mil being thrown around like it was nothing! @___@:: imlikeWAT I remember scrounging around the house for enough money to buy the monthlies back when those were exciting, haha.
Sometimes I am curious what I'd get if opened an auction, but then... ehh what would I spend it on...
I'm actually planning on doing a quick solo auction, just to see what I can get. XD Plus I want to bid on this auction that is currently at 200mil... but I'm friends those artists and I know they'll hit my characters out of the park.
I still think the idea of an auction for this group is great... I'm just not crazy about putting the money towards a prize next year. XD I suppose we could do it just for fun and split the proceeds.
Haha I'm on board. I love joint auctions. Solos are so lonely
