“I'm fine.” He hissed angrily, mostly at himself. “Well I'm already frustrated and magic doesn't require physical skill. Therefore, as long as I don't die, I'm fine with it.” Vaati rolled his eyes.

Kaze glared at the lazy cat for a second. Then he got a good idea. "Alright, how about we do this. Fight me, using all the magic you have. If you win, we will stop these lessons. But, if you lose, you will stay there and listen to my lessons until I dismiss you. Sound fair?" He explained with a grin. He knew that Vaati didn't even have full control over his magic.

Vaati frowned. He was very confident with his magic anymore either. All he knew was he could warp away if things got too rough. Or he could get lucky with his stoning spell. He whispered the spell in his head and fired the magic toward his waist.

Josline entered the inn, heading to her room. She closed the door and locked it before she removed her cloak. Across her face was a large gash over her eye. On her arms, claw marks and and a gash across her chest. She pulled out her bag and began to tend the wounds. "That's it... I'm never... talking to... Eva... in demon mode... again..." She managed to gasp, in between each stab of pain. She wrapped bandages around the wounds and touched the wound on her face. "Kaze's not going to be happy..." She sighed as she sat down, cleaning it and wrapping a bandage around it. She sighed again when she layed her one eye on her ripped cloak. "Great, it's all damaged again..." She murmured.

"Well?" Kaze wanted to teach Vaati a lesson. He was tired of Vaati's selfish and lazy attitude.

“Fine...” Vaati sighed, stopping the spell he sent earlier. “To stone with him..” He mumbled under his breath and charged the spell between his finger tips. A few seconds later, he fired it at Kaze.

Kaze could feel the vibrations in the wind as the spell travelled through the air. He side-stepped and rushed forward, aiming a blast of wind at Vaati's chest.

The spell hit a tree behind Kaze, turning it hard and grey. Vaati caught the wind in his hands and dispersed it before it could touch him. He twisted his wrist inward and shot four blasts of energy at Kaze.

Kaze jumped and continued running toward Vaati. If he got anywhere near the cat, the fight would pretty much be over.

Vaati warped behind, hovering his hand over Kaze's back. He laughed, the sanity leaving his voice as he blasted Kaze's back with magic.

Kaze stood up and turned around, looking at Vaati with a grin. "Loosing control, eh?" He darted forward again and fired three more blasts of wind at Vaati. While he was worried about the blasts of wind, Kaze jumped again and landed a few yards behind Vaati.

He caught the blasts again, stumbling backwards a little. He quickly caught himself and spun around, blasting blue energy into Kaze's chest. He warped off, appearing several feet in front of him. He was panting. He hadn't used much magic in a while.

Kaze deflected Vaati's magic with the wind. He could see Vaati's exhasution and slowly walked forward.

Opal watched as the two fought with magic. Every time Kaze would attack Vaati, she would cover her eyes. She had just removed her hands from her face and saw that Vaati was exhausted and Kaze was advancing toward him. Opal felt something urge her forward as she suddenly put herself between Kaze and Vaati. "O-okay Kaze, please stop. Can't you see he's exhausted?" Opal said, her blue eyes pleading.
