Masuyo, Kagae, do either of you assist with watches? Denbe, Kojiro, if they do not, do you stretch out your watches to take up the whole night? If not, then correct me if I'm wrong, but Denbe will be awake for 1st watch (~1 hour), Kojiro will be awake for 2nd watch (~1 hour), and 3rd watch (last ~1 hour before dawn, since summer nights are shorter) is unattended. Give me TN 10 stamina rolls to avoid falling asleep. You get a Free Raise if yout ell me how you stay active during your watch.
If so, then each of you give me TN 15 stamina rolls to avoid falling asleep. You get a Free Raise if you tell me how you stay active during your watch. If you stay awake, you will likely be tired come tomorrow morning.

Kojiro would do his best to stay awake during his shift. His ears straining to hear the foot fall of little Miya's feet. Beyond duty, he had no real way to keep himself awake. All he could hope was that Miya-chan didn't run into any of the Kaiu's traps. When he could, he'd try to play with the fox, but chances are Fubuki would be sleeping on Masuyo...

Remembering their 3rd Bushi's penchant for neglect, when it came time for the 3rd watch she pulled herself out of 'bed' for "pre dawn meditations" and instead relieved the sleepy Scorpion when she just happened to notice he was on the verge of nodding off.

Kojiro nodded his thanks to Masuyo and then slipped inside his tent to get some sleep. Soon, all of this would be behind them....and they would find Miya and kill off these cultist thugs!

The little Hare was restless. There was too much unanswered, undone.
They were stuck in the middle of things, and he didn't know if he should worry about these strange foes creeping up upon them in the midst of the night, or of deciding they were done and slipping away forever. As he sat, he turned the strange dagger over again and again in his hands, as though it might eventually come to just the right angle to show some hidden answer or other.
His feet tapped perpetually, and each time he started to feel too antsy, or himself drift off a bit, he'd shove himself to his feet and pace about camp, looking for a different post to watch the surrounding streets from.

1st Watch
Denbe! Towards the end of your watch, you feel yourself falling more and more under the sway of exhaustion. Sleep comes to claim you, when suddenly, you feel someone watching you.
You aren't sure you remember hearing the door to the shrine open, but it was now. Just outside stood a little girl, maybe 6 years of age, wearing a solid white kimono. Her large, inquisitive eyes stared at your group, and from this angle, you could only make out one of her two tiny pigtails.
