*Kero moves away from Tam...and runs down to the beach, diving underneath the sand...once Tam is finished feeding, he looks...and once again, there is not a cub in sight*

ahhh... but now that he's fed, tam is a fairly decent mage as well as a crafty fox... he's also learned a few things about d. miners from his earlier contacts with kerobian... following his nose once again, he arrives at the beach and seeing the expanse of empty same... sighs... ok... i can do this in one of two ways he decides... he could blast away the sand or follow his nose and begin to dig... he decides that removing all the sand was a bit of an overkill... so he goes digging.... with power of course... ye really think he'd be using his hands....

*As he begins to dig...the sand collapses underneath him, leaving him buried up to his armpits (Think Garion's first expirement with sorcery)....Kero pops out, chuckling*

hmmm.... tam rises out of the sand as though it was water... ok... so ye want to play rough... he growls.... and he simply hovers there for a bit...not quite standing on the sand... but kero soon notices that the tide is far higher than usual... at least on this beach it is... and his tunnels are rapidly filling with water.... when he comers up for air he finds his head snared in a thin strand of energy... bad kitty... don't ye know that ye need a leash in the city... teases tam...

tam wipes his face clean with one hand and starts back to the penthouse... shortening the leash as he moves until he grabs kero by the scruff and dangles him at arm's length in front of him as he walks.... that was a low blow, brat.... he hisses angrily at the cat...... ye know... i'm here to help ye... right... i could just leave ye on yer own and go home.... ma's been mad at me before... it won't be the first time... and probably not the last.... he gives a huge yawn... dang... now look at what ye've done... he drops the cat and wraps the leash firmly around his hand and arm even as he slides to the ground with another groggy yawn.....

tam groans even louder,,, why the hell didn't ye say so... s**t... here... he dissolved the leash and leaned forward, forehead on his knees.... sorry kiddo... didn't mean to freak ye out... let's get back to yer room, ok... and try out that new nightlight.... i think we both need to get some rest..... when he stands he is still a bit wobbly but he manages to make it back to the penthouse without looking like he's falling down drunk.....
