*ye find her but she seems to be out of it... curled up into a ball in the center of a dark cave... further study of the area shows her to be trapped.. no exits.... good thing she isn't human... she'd be runninbg out of air by now.... trouble is... although ye can see her and the cave ye still can't locate where the dang cave is....... hmmmm must be shielded in some odd mysterious way.....

Okay...first lesson...Farseeing....I have located your mother...I need you to follow my magic and tell me the area on the surface I should be looking for....open your eyes to magic, and follow the thread of my power with your mind...when you see a shield at about a hundred yards, stop and describe the area to me...
*Reaches into her mind and grabs a hold of her power, pushing it into her eyes*

hmmmm.... it takes shia a little bit of time to gain control but after a time she seems to get a hang of it... very very slowly she turns in a circle... after doing a complete circle she comes to a halt... frowns and starts to say something, then she stops and looks stright down....
bingo! she cries loudly... that's why i couldn't trace it... it's beneath us.... in the basement? she sounds confused... uncle kero, why would there be a shield in the basement?

the two intrepid adventurers descend into the depths of the castle, going pass the wine cellar and unused dungeons... finding corridors not even talesian knew was there... until they come to an empty circular room which glows with an unhealthy greenish glow....

talesian walks over and examines the shield..... while ye catch yer breath....

ye step onto the fllor and find yerself in a shielded cavern next to lyssan.... fortuantely talesian had yet to step in after you when ye disappeared... but he also has no idea as to where the heck ye are.....

lyssan sits up, there is mud streaking her face... she give s big yawn... better sit down and wait for him to show his face, kerobian.... this is a one way trap... those dang trolls tossed me into the room and plop... here i was... surely ye don't believe i just sat down and gave up did ye...
as ye look about the cave ye realize that there are giant score marks on one wall and a hole or rather the start of a hole in another... dings in a third wall where boulders had been throw with considerable force, show sign of a divine tantrum as well... ye look at the fourth wall but it looks untouched...
lyssan flinches and rubs her shoulder... threw something out throwing those rocks... she explains with a grimmace... she sighs and lays back down... ye can throw all the magic around in her ye want and all it will do is bounce around... but iffin ye use too much... it gets dang cold... i think the walls are like a heat sink for magic...

They are...they're the power source for the shield around the room...they played you for a sap, friend...hold on, maybe I can do something...
*Moves to the walls and begins absorbing the magic, though it burns him...he passes it back to Lyssan, refilling her*
There....that's the best I can do...the shield collapsed, though...now, I have a question while we wait...
*Tells her about his offer to be Shia's teacher*
