"I think ti might be worse this time. He can hardly walk, he can't remember Opal's name..." Alyssa muttered, then suddenly heard a loud bang. She looked over and spotted Vaati laying on the ground under the window, chuckling to himself.

"... He'll sober up when Kaze trains him..." Zathier muttered and walked over to Vaati. "But, until then..." Zathier grinned mischeviously and looked around for Opal. After seeing no sign of her, he proceeded to nearly bury Vaati, covering him in two inches of dirt, but leaving his head sticking out. "That should hold him." Zathier said, still grinning.

Vaati warped himself out of the dirt, and struggled to stand up again. "Imma going... kick yer... um... rear... That's the word..."

Arious laughed and grinned. "Oh... I know a place... the place where I lost my first duel!" Arious grinned as he took Kaze's arm. "Hold on..." Arious then pulled himself into the shadows making himself one with them. When reopened his eyes, he saw the desert where he once battled Helios. He imagined himself as a human once again and grinned when he saw himself standing in the sand holding a awestruck Kaze. Arious' eye glowed red for a good minute or two before fading back into the dark green pools. It was strange because it was a lot longer than last time. Arious drew his sword. "Shall we then?" Arious took his stance resting his sword just in front of him. He raised his other hand in the air. "Let us hope that you are as skilled as Helios.. He was quite the challenge!"

Liam watched from behind the trees. He saw Silver and April. Tears began to well in his eyes. "So that is what they looked like... Oh.. I will not let them be slaughtered..." He took a step forward. He prayed that his striking appearance didn't gave away his identity. He cleared his throat. His tenor pitched voice floated like the clouds. "Tell me... Do you know where Helios is? or perhaps... Arious?" He choked out Arious. He was the last one to die... He had saved him, taking the blow for him. He winced remembering the pain. He would not let it happen though.

"... I wouldn't know where Helios is... and if you want to know where Arious is... maybe you can persuade this little girl because she's not telling me." Silver said, laughing a bit as April looked over at Liam and tilted her head. "Say... I haven't seen you around here before... Who are you again? And how do you know Arious, and Helios?" Silver asked, looking over at him. She said Helios with hatred in her voice.

Liam sighed. "I must find one of them... Arious would know what to do... He is the one who told me to come back..." He mumbled to himself. he then looked at Silver. "I am Liam Princ-" he stopped himself. Arious had warned him of telling his true identity. "Prince of ice... And Arious and I are.... friends..." He took a step toward April and looked into her eyes. "I need to know where your father is... it is very important..." He brushed his hair back just as his father always did.

Zathier shrugged and pushed Vaati back. "Shall we go?" He asked Alyssa.
Kaze grinned and stood in his own stance. "Helios... Lisaya's husband right?" He asked, trying to remember exact where he heard the name. "Ah, yes... The jealous man." He muttered and stared at Arious, waiting for him to make his move. "No magic or powers, just a full-melee duel. First to draw blood wins." Kaze explained, making sure the rules were clear. He was ready any moment Arious was, but Kaze wasn't doing this for the victory. He was doing it for fun. To Kaze, the match was just like sparring. He wasn't going to draw blood until he had Arious pinned on the ground with a sword at his throat. All he wanted, was pure thrill and excitement, unlike Helios, who wanted victory, 'glory', a way to snuff-out loose ends, or, in the simplest term, get rid of any person Helios felt jealousy towards over Lisaya. "I will let you know now, don't fight me with the strive to win, because you will lose." Kaze explained, an enlightening and calm smile still on his face. He was going to give it his best just because he could, not for any goal or achievement.

"It's strange for a shadow to be... so obsessed over a girl. But then again, you aren't really a shadow, are you? You gave up almost everything only to have her turn her back on you." Dark muttered quietly with a smirk on his face.
"Yeah, he creeps me out." Alyssa muttered and smacked Vaati across the face. "Shame on you!" She shouted, then grabbed Zathier's hand to walk away.

Arious grinned. "Oh trust me... I see this as practice... just another training match.. I only battle for victory in magic battles." Arious sped forward swirling his sword around his head, leaving his whole chest open. He then swooped down and jabbed to the left and right of Kaze, intentionally missing. "If I hit you, it would be over to fast. But you are pretty quick." Arious then grinned partially as he thrusted his sword toward Kaze. The man blocked him nicely. "Fine job. This shall be entertaining..." Arious then motioned forward on the offense dealing a heap of blows quickly He then spun cracking his sword against Kaze's. Arious' weapon was humming. Arious laughed. "I missed... wow.. you are good." Arious pulled his sword back, to reveal a cut in Kaze's tunic, but no scratch. "Your turn." He smiled as he took up his defensive stance.
Shadow glared at Dark, his eyes furious. "She did not abandon me... Helios deceived her... made her believe I was dead... He stole her right out of my arms... He shall pay..." He then took a step toward Dark. "Well... speaking of obsessing... What do you hang around Arious so much, eh? You always want to play... it sickens me... It gives people the wrong idea... like you got a thing for him." He smirked. It was true.. he always was around Arious...

Kaze grinned as he rushed forward to slice at Arious' chest, but right as he reached him, Kaze jumped over his head, kicking him forward and landing behind him. He quickly turned around as Arious had rolled out of the way before Kaze could hold a blade to his neck. Kaze jumped once again, but instead of diving at Arious, he landed and jumped again, much higher this time. He quickly dived at full speed towards Arious' feet for some reason and smirk as the man jumped backwards and Kaze landed, but with how fast he was diving, Kaze hit the ground and his momentum kept him moving forward almost face first on to the desert floor, but lunged forward a few inches before his face hit the ground. Kaze watched as Arious tried to get away, but was knocked off his feet by Kaze's lunge. Kaze swiftly landed and jumped back to his feet only to see Arious standing up again. "Heh, well then, this will be very exciting." He muttured and stared at Arious with the same grin he had at the beginning of the fight. Kaze finally settled into a defensive stance just like Arious had done when he had finished his turn.
Zathier walked with Alyssa, away from Vaati. "Do you want to go see how the puppies are doing?" He suggested as he smiled at Alyssa.

Dark laughed. "It isn't exactly my fault I've inherited the child Vaati ignored. You know how it is, don't you? We're opposites, but at the same time, we're the same as the person we were deprived from. If Vaati was a playful character, I wouldn't be stuck with his childish thoughts. As for Arious, he's the only one willing to play, though Darious has the job now, but he's busy dealing with Helious' rage after a prank..." Dark mumbled, then he smirked and looked at Shadow.
"You know, we could have a truce. I know you aren't fond of me, I'm not fond of you, but you hate Helious and we like to prank him. Will you come with us next time?"
"Sure! Wait, we haven't named your puppy yet, have you? April named mine." Alyssa asked, glancing over at Zathier.

"Liam? Where have I heard that name before." She said blinking as she looked at him.
April started at Liam, still tilting her head. Suddenly a image flashed before her eyes. She saw man with blonde hair lying on the ground, he was dead. And Lisaya was crying over his dead body. Suddenly she burst into tears at the sight of it. Silver tried to calm her down but she continued to wail.
