"I'm Ariane and this is my sister Nilima," Ariane replied when the others introduced themselves.
"Hello."
The twins then silently stared at the blonde and the greenhaired girl for a moment. The moment Ariane recognized them, she went over and gave them a big hug, all super-cheery. "So glad to see you are alrght," she said with a smile, before looking at Sirpa. "So this is where your trip went? You could have waited and we could have gone here all of us."
Aulona smiled as she hugged back, while Sirpa scratched her cheek. "Umm... yeah... it's a long story..." She didn't even know that the twins had planned on going. She sure had a lot of explaining to do later.
Nilima was quiet. The fact that Aulona was there was probably not much of a surprise, but Sirpa? Her being there made no sense. The older girl also had the look that she had done something wrong.

Aedelyn saw Sirpa's look and was concerned. He knew that he would now have to tell the mermaid twins his side of the story later on which meant everything about Sirpa, the rescue and more. ...

She then looked at Sirpa while tilting her head slightly. She then smiled again. "You can tell us later if you want." She had no idea what it was, but figured that maybe it would be best to wait, in case it would ruin the party mood. And it could be something she didn't want to tell in a room filled with a bunch of people.
Nilima nodded while giving a smile. She looked forward to hear about what Sirpa had done.
Hearing the girls thank for the compliment, she did the same. Well, it was dresses from the castle (at least the ones she and Ariane's wore, to her knowledge), so of course they probably looked good. They would probably look good on anyone.

*Time Skip* [Castle St. Ivalice, Ballroom] Later that Afternoon, Anduin escorted Weiss at the Capital. Weiss, my snow angel mermaid, you look beautiful. Care for a dance? Anduin said as he offered Weiss a dance.
"Not... a good idea..." Nilima said worryingly. Like she had suspected, there was way too many people around for her. And she didn't want to show anyone those pathetic stiff movements of hers.
Ariane looked concerned at her sister, before replying to Laverne. "That sounds neat."
She then looked a bit puzzled at Selone. "Yeah we have." Was there something strange with that, she wondered curiously.
