the air shimmers briefly and you see a singed fox appear on the deck.....
ow... ow... ow... kero, take it down please... that hurt!
and for once i agree with austin, stay here, you, too, zel, back him up... there's something down there besides ogres and we may be needing to jump back quick... if the field stays up, i don't think i'll make it through again, that was rough... and painful...
she brushes the ash from her fur with a sigh... and i don't want to be doing this again... especially if i'm a running for cover... i've only got so much fur ye know....
she sits down with a thump and sighs... there's an ogre mage down there... kind of powerful... he doesn't know we're here yet, but his suspicions are up, he found austin's first kill and is sniffing around... i came back to warn ye all about him... i think i can handle him but he seems to be an energy mage of some sort and if ye are with us... well then he'll have free rein on the ship... he'll go through your field like hot knife through butter and ye'd not even know he was here... i'd rather you guard the ship so ye can stop him if he decides to come here...

fox follows and appears moaning... ow... ow... ow... i forgot and left before he took it down... the smell of burning fur is a bit overwhelming and she is steaming a little... she does a quick roll on the floor dislodging a few bones and wrinkles her nose... ewww... i sure hope he doesn't get a whiff of that... let's move just incase he does, we need a bit of cover....

well, a physical attack is probably the only thing that will take him... as he is no doubt shielded against anything else... but we'll have to catch him unawares... iffin he knows where we are or that there's more than one of us... he's going to be on alert and harder to bring down... they be powerful mages... but their skills be limited... the problem be they fly... and can use darkness at will... some kin go invisible and all can change their shape once a day... as for magic they've few spells but they be resistant to magic which is why i told those two to stay behind... this be a physical fight... so hide yeself away and wait... i'll try to lure him to ye... sweatdrop

yer right about that... i don't mind sneaking past his minions but him i want to get... the oni have been a pain in my neck for eons... this is personal, austin... stare i hate 'em... so let's take him out.... i suspect he'll feel the same about me once he sees me... the kitsune and oni have never gotten along very well....
(oni are ogre-like demons... just in case ye didn't know mrgreen )
