I have to figure out where to relocate one of my chi posters since I put up a geisha picture I found at a garage sale.

I don't want to move my Marilyn Monroe Poster, but thw means I have to move my Slipknot and Crow posters + various drawings, but that would also enhance the Dichotomous look of my room.

Each room in my appartment has a different theme to it really, with some underlying layers. For example, the living room has fairies and flowers mostly, but I have an ocean coastal painting right above the tv. The computer room (where there should be a dinning room ^^*) is anime/oriental themed, the kitchen is mostly fruit, the bathroom is ocean things, the bedroom goes into high fantasy with unicorns and dragons, and the sun room is cats. (I'm very strange some days) But some things bleed over like there is a naganata sitting in the living room, or there are fairies in the kitchen and bedroom as well.

The centeral theme in the living room is allowed to bleed into other rooms,in my mind, seeing as how it's more or less the center of the house, but my room is going the classic Night/Day, Black/white and a few old movies stuff in it.

My appartment is more like a straight line, so...it's really fun for the cats to case eachother running the entire length back and forth, but it is really linear in some ways.

I meant center activities wise, with like the energy of the house. because Most family and visitor activities is supposed to occur in the living room, it's a really interesting place to be

I suppose in a lot of ways the living room is one of the central rooms since we eat in there and the like, though the bedroom and the computer room might be a close tie for second.

Places always have imprints of things i've done before there. Sometimes I remember the strangest things and where I was at the time.

Yeah, Places can hold memories a long time, and for "sensitive" people they can hold echoes, which can vary in calming to making on really jumpy even though you won;t know what the echo was.

Some echos are soothing, but others can be rather disconcerting to the unwary. ^^* That's why after my ex and I broke up a few years back I spent next to no time at home...I didn't want to see and feel all the places in my house that reminded me of everything...

Memories can serve many purposes. Pain is a negative side effect of what used to hold so much happyness. it's one of hte reason's i can't go back to First Landign state park yet. It's where my ex and i had our first kiss. i love it there, but i just can't go back there.

That's why as much as I love my parents, I'm always reluctant to go home...the thing is we moved right when my ex did, so he moved into my parents new house...so I don't have childhood memories there...just memories of the three years I spent with my ex and a few other scattered memories here and there...so it's not exactly my favorite place to be.
