There was no announcement. He just appeared on the map at his destroyed mansion which is rebuilt into the most giant of things now.

Well, my first tactic was:
I went around asking my friends for gold. I wasn't questing for anything, I just said I was broke and asked if I could have some gold. I could make 10k a day that way.
That doesnt last forever though, so I wound up getting two donation letters every month, or at least one extra to sell, and I wait a year, and then sell.
Also, I dont generously hand my gold out to others. I'm a strong believer in earning gold for yourself. Hypocritical, yes, but I'm aslo a business man, and I'll take my opportunities where I can find them.
While I wont just give a friend 5k, I'll lend the gold to them, and not be strict on when they pay me back. Gambino is just an indulgence for myself. He's not a real other person taking advantage of my hard earned coinage.
