Mairi said shyly with a giggle as she dried the last few wet areas of her skin. Mairi sighed softly as she forced back angry tears for what she could have had, if her parents had actually cared. She was surprised as she felt fingers gently brushing her face as her mother hugged her as she slid into the bed, oblivious to the tears that had actually been rolling down her face.What was that for? Mairi said softly with a hint of confusion.
