Lyssan smiles back wickedly. "In all honesty we thought someone else was sleeping in that room that night... Don't tell anyone though.. we gained a lot of notoriety for that one... our peers really looked up to us for it... And Jor kind of needed that. Being a snake kind of made him a little short in the stature arena..."

Lyssan shrugs. "Da was a cream puff, unless he felt threatened and then all hell would break loose. Ma, on the other hand, felt one should always behave with a sense of... shall we say... divine purpose. I kept telling her I wasn't a true god, just the leavings of power that the all father pared away from my twin... truth is... that didn't sit well either."

I'm gonna get it for this....but Jor's not all that powerful either, Ly...and to my knowledge, he's really not all that tough....though he claims he used to change your diapers...is that true?

"Kero... use yer head.. we're twins and he's only five minutes older than I... to top it off he had no hands... yeah, he was a bit mobil before me, but change my diapers... heck I was a full blooded fox spirit for the first ten years of my life... never even wore one. It's just a way for him to lord his 'superiority' over me... I didn't start shape shifting until right before my presentation to the all father."

Gods don't follow the laws of the Universe, Passura....I knew a goddess once who jumped out of her dad's head when a blacksmith split it open...she's a really smart lady, if a bit sanctimonious.
And, while I haven't met yer ma, I have met Kami-no-Kaze....he was the one who taught me Air magic, in return for something I held....just like yer Uncle taught me how to wield a blade, after I found one lodged in my office walls...how that sword got there is beyond me...

Suddenly a young male kitsune is standing before them. "What Jor won't tell anyone is that this was my true form... or one of them... I have several, you know."
The boy's eyes grow wide with astonishment.
