he is followed shortly by luna who flies into the galley and does loops around kero's head... she lands and accidently spills the sugar bowl... seeing the sugar on the table reminds her of the sand on a beach and she scratches out a farily competent "A".... she looks at both kero and prince and announces .... awa......

she lays on the cuonter nibbling her cookies writing her letters over and over in the sand... some are upside down... others are canted in the wrong directions... and a few are backwards... but she's beginning to make the connections....
