Just before the portal led Mareshin to the door of a nearby building he felt the readiness of his 'quests'. The one he decided to be half angel and half demon, which was the most logical assumption, had increased his power and the one that belonged in heaven, but was no angel, had also gathered more strength, how however was unclear. Oddly the only true demonic force had not gained much strength, in fact, Mareshin was sure there was no increase what so ever.
'This could prove interesting..'
And with these thoughts the door flung open and revealed Mareshin with the soaring flames, that brought him there, behind him. Quite casually, yet ready for he knew to expect anything, he stepped forward to the small party. It was quite a unique sight. Instantly he recognised 'the one that belonged in heaven' as a reaper. He was right about the half demon, in fact he was gathering as much as he could from both sides of his lineage. Most intriguing was the demon, the demonic girl seemed frightened and had inexperience written all over her.
A good assessment of the situation had to be made.
'I'm facing a reaper, such creatures only come to earth to guide souls, yet none are here. The lack of any energy residue of souls suggest that the last soul was present here at least several hours ago. She still had something to do here, else she was already on her way for her next assignment.'
Mareshin was most disturbed by the reapers presence, she shouldn't be there and there guidelines are strict.
'The half demon seems most imposing now, interesting...'
Whether or not to attack him was a great question for Mareshin indeed. He could always appreciate a half breed with a great deal of strength and, because of his own lineage, never really enjoyed attacking them.
'That demon looks far too weak, a trap?.. But the fear in her eyes look genuine. And I should know.'
While he calmly had his thoughts rearranged he continued to walk towards the group and within moments found himself in front of them.
"Keep your guard up or let it slide, I do not care."
Mareshin started in his low, slow and somewhat old voice.
"For today I am here to greet you."
He liked doing that, almost a quarter of the time he would just visit his victims, should he know in advance who to kill, and kindly greet them. Most imposing, for the moment, was the half demon despite his non-aggressive stance. His sword could do some serious damage if a direct hit would occur. The reaper, though often mysteriously strong creatures, just didn't have that thug in her. The weapon she wielded is just to big for her to make her look imposing.
"That is an interesting lineage you have there, half breed, relax I have no quarrel with you nor your lineage. Undoubtedly you have heard of my own."
((Is this really that much?))

Zion considered. The sword shrank. He kept his power at full just in case but allowed himself to relax. If Mareshin had come for any other purpose he would have attacked quickly and have drown in his energy to prepare for a fight. As Mareshin hadn't drawn in his energy Zion decided that it would be impolite to be reaady to fight. The wings shrank in size and eventually reached the piont where he could cloak them again. "I have heard of your own. But you were corect in your analysis, I am half demon and half angel." It was interesting to meet other half breeds but this one wasn't a nothing. The human in him allowed him to be acceptible in hell. Thus he belonged some where. He wasn't jelous or envious he noticed this as he noticed many things, not careing one way or the other.

Penelope gripped her scythe so tightly that her nails began to dig into it. Mareshin entered the scene through a decrepid((Spelling error, I know.)) building that was due to collaspe any day now. He strided down to the group. Penelope tried her hardest not to think about what she was actually going to commit. Murder. Of a living being. She blinked hard and focused.
"Keep your guard up or let it slide, I do not care. For today, I am here to greet you," Mareshin spoke.
Mareshin seemed to be surveying the group in front of him, calculating his greatest threat. Penelope never took her eyes off of him, thinking he may trick them.
"That is an interesting lineage you have there, half breed, relax I have no quarrel with you nor your lineage. Undoubtedly you have heard of my own."
Penelope's eyes widen at the realization that Zion was indeed half demon and angel. The grim reaper never heard of that occurance to actually happen. She felt incrediblly stupid for she should have known this. Zion relaxed himself as his wings shrunk and faded to nothing. Penelope noticed his reaction and decided to lower her guard just a bit and postioned her body to her regular stance. She still did not dare to look away.
The weather changed drastically as it came to a hult with the cloud moved to the north. The harvest moon glowed a pumpkin orange. Penelope wanted to look at the stars, just observe them without being in a rush, for she has not seen them in years; her job prevented it because she was busy with her duty.

((I was actually waiting for others to reply, but if I wait any longer this RP might slide away. Which would be a shame.))
Mareshin looked at the half-breed as he lowered his guard more and more, his wings shrinking to the size where he could cloak them.
'Interesting display of your power, half-breed.'
Then he looked at the Reaper she, also, lowered her guard, but not as much as the half-breed. She took a more regular stance. However, she didn't take her eyes of him for even a micro-second. Mareshin couldn't blame her, but even though he is a demon they could trust his word. There's no reason to tell lies, not like this.
More light shone upon the street where the unusual creatures had gathered. The clouds had moved away, revealing the moon and stars. It was quite a beautifull night, with the coulds gone it was now a clear sky. Mareshin looked up and observed the sky.
"Beautiful sight isn't it? I've always wondered why the mortal realm has it."
Then he remembered something.
"I once came across a mortal who said he had forseen my arrival in the stars. Quite a unique sight, a mortal not afraid of me, completely ready for what I was about to do.."
His voice trailed of a bit before he looked upon his 'quests' again.
'Why are you here reaper?'
His mind asked, she stood there with weapon and everything. Yet none here where at their death and souls that lost their lives here where already guided away. He thought they wouldn't show themselves unless the person in question was already dead or as good as.
"You don't seem quite able to relax young reaper, why so tensed?"
Mareshin Walked further up to her, then turned and walked a full circle around her. Her grip on her scythe was strong, her stance, though more regular, still battle ready. Her eyes holded something strange, anticipation of some kind.

((and i was waiting for the others before I posted again either. Seems we were both waiting for the other to post.)) Zion's feathers rose on his wings. He knew that Mareshin was powerful but he despised those that were condisending towards him. He tried to relax reminding himself that the demon probably hadn't meant to be condisending. And if he had now was not the time to take offence. zion smiled slightly remembering other foes nearly a strong as Mareshin whom were no longer in existance. Traps and patience often beat power. When Mareshin mentioned the stars Zion glanced up. "They are but a pale reflection through heavans curtain. As for why they are a taunt to those who can never witness the true beauty."He said soflty under his breath. He repeated what an angel had said before forbiding him entry to heaven. That angel had since gone missing on a mission to earth. It had carelessly not cloaked itself. Zion's lips curved smlighty cruelly. He then looked away from the stars. He never looked at them without thinking about what heavan must look like. Which useaully sent him on a rampage against wichever target presented itself. He shuddered his wings flexing. He stiffled his normal responce. He wished to listen to the soul reapers response to mareshins question. It was a good question and the response was worth listening to. Maybe it had something to do with the current troubles of the world with the death dealers.

"You don't seem quite able to relax young reaper, why so tensed?"
Mareshin circled around the grim reaper like a vulture, examining every little detail about her. Yet, her vancant black eyes watched his every move in return. She remained silent, pondering of what she should say without giving away the truth. The reaper sensed both curiosity in demon and the "halfbreed." Her eyes flashed as the demon returned to the front of her.
"Tense? How can I with you in my presence? I've heard every rumor of your merciless dictatorship dominating the known world, ringing it dry for all its worth," she said harshly; she could not believe she said such a thing even if he was a Death Dealer.
She forced herself to look like she remained strong yet she was crumbling on the inside. She didn't want to follow the order God, himself, gave to her. But killing will not make things better in the world, only stain it a deeper red of blood. Grim Reapers are supposed to guide souls to their final resting place, heaven or hell; they aren't supposed to commit murder. Never. Wouldn't killing bring more killing?
She looked away even though she was determined not to take her eyes off of him. She's not acting like herself and was rude to a person she barely knew. The reaper closed her eyes, longing to just tell everyone what God commands of her, to go against the Ten Commandments that he himself gave to Moses. Why would he put such a burden on her shoulders?
"I'm sorry. I," she paused, raising her eyes to meet Mareshin's. "I should have never have said that. Forgive me."

Mareshin smiled slightly as he observed the Reaper and listened to what she said.
"Non taken, Reaper, but I don't believe that was a truthful answer."
His eyes looked away to the half-breed, he was obviously also interested in the Reapers response. Mareshin took a step back and looked at the three in general.
"Let's try this again, as you know, I am Mareshin. Mareshin 'The Wasteful' Hayden, as some call me. With who do I have the honor of meeting today?"
Mareshin bowed slightly, but didn't look away, instead he looked, during the bow, straight at the Reaper. After that he looked at them in general again. Not really focusing on one person.

zion listened to the Reaper and woundered what her mission was. She had side stepped the question quite well. Her mission might be more interesting then he had thought when he had first seen her. He would stick around till he found out more. When Mareshin asked who every one was Zion decided to answer first. "My name is Haldrezion the Nothing. I prefer Zion though for less formal ocassions." He bowed slightly as he introduced himself. It wasn't a servial bow it was simply a tradition from a long ago people. The had bowed slightly when meeting someone and when they were introduced.

"Let's try this again, as you know, I am Mareshin. Mareshin 'The Wasteful' Hayden, as some call me. With who do I have the honor of meeting today?" he said with a polite bow.
As he bowed, his eyes were on the grim reaper but soon looked to the group. Penelope stood there speechless, wondering if she should tell him her name. What if he heard a rumor that Penelope, a grim reaper, is after him but didn't know what she looked like?
"It is a possiblity, right?" she thought.
She realized that she became quite paranoid and should not worry about it. Zion decided to speak first, while Penelope was thanking Zion in her mind for him talking before her.
"My name is Haldrezion the Nothing. I prefer Zion though for less formal ocassions," Zion introduced himself with a pedestrian bow.
Penelope paused for just a moment then said, "I'm Penelope. No nickname, just Penelope."
She smiled nervously as she courtsied to the group. So many thoughts ran through her mind, colliding and overloading to the point that she wanted to scream.
"Should I do my duty? No, it's mortally wrong. Yes, it's what God wanted her to do. Should I befriend him? No, don't make a friendship, it will only make killing him worse. Yes, have a friendly relationship so your life will become healthy. What about Zion? Is he good or evil? Will he turn on me or will he become an actual friend?" her thoughts raged on, tearing her apart.
She spoke:
"This is a rare occasion, isn't it?" forcing herself to be calm but again, like always, failed.

Mareshin listened to the two introductions and noticed that the third was reluctant.
"This is a rare occasion isn't it?"
Penelope said and smiled a bit, but you could see that it was forced.
Mareshin looked at the demon and concidered for a moment.
"If you don't feel like it, do it at another time."
He looked at Zion, again concidering for a moment and then passed his gaze over to Penelope.
"Indeed, quite a rare occasion. I don't think there've been many times that a half-demon half-human, a grim reaper, a demon and a half-demon half-angel gathered."
And he gestured, with his right hand, to the person he meant everytime he spoke the next kind of race.
"You might find it a bit rude but I can't stay that much longer. I'm actually a really busy man."
'I have to send some spies and gather more intell on them... I'm certain that Zion isn't a pushover but I have my doubts on how weak Penelope is. She's not here for guiding souls, else she would've been long gone by now.. That means it's much bigger then that. But what?'
"But I still have a bit of time on my hands."

Zion nodded to their words. "I can't remember the last time such an odd group assembled if ever. And I should know as i have never met another half breed angel-demon. And I've seen less reapers then demon-human crosses. And I can't think of any half demon-humans I've met in a long time." This was turning out to be more interesting then had hoped for. He had only hoped for a bit of amusemant but this was more then he expected. He smiled when Mareshin meantioned he was a busy man. "And that is why some don't bother with anything beyond our own amusemant. It gives you all the time you need for what you want to do. Though I must ask what it is you do?" He asked this curious as he wished to know more about the other half breed. Beyond rumors and stories.

Penelope remained silent as the two halfbreeds spoke. She didn't really have anything to say, so she stood there, quietly waiting for a place to jump into the conversation. She felt an erie aura about the group as two halfbreeds fought for their dominance nonverbally. They seemed threatened but would never admit such a thing. But the way they spoke and looked at each other, they struggled to see who was more powerful.
She pushed back her untidy hair with her white hand, nervously. She wanted to know what drew Mareshin to this exact location. Did he know about her but is hiding it? Is he really that malacious or just portrated to be? What about Zion? Is he an enemy or worse, a Death Dealer? The grim reaper felt out of place. She was not at all a demon nor runs with them. All she does is guide the souls to their rightful resting place. But now, she has to commit murder of the being infront of her, standing and having a conversation.
"I need to decide. RIGHT NOW. Am I going to carry out God's command or disobey him?" she thought to herself.

((Waaaahh!! @~@!! I missed so much!!
I'm so sorry everyone! I'd read about this thread getting deleted, but I never knew it had been re-attained until I got the Pm!! >_<;; I'm really sorry for such a delay! T-T
I've been busy with school anyway, but still. ><
Murr... Now to play catch-up... This post will probably be rediculously long though... Sorry about that.))Danielle stood akwardly behind the group, off to the left of this curious new creature, still scared witless. Her mind could hardly think as she struggled to comprehend the ideals and goals of this demon who'd arrived so mysteriously. What on earth could he want with them??
Danielle was afraid that her only assumption was correct; that he was only here to torment them before presenting their untimely death by his very hands. She'd seen it many times, by many different death dealers, in many different places. People and demons alike were slaughtered for little more than their amusement and for no reason at all. The dealers had nothing against the people they killed, at least not directly, and they were murdered thoughtlessly.
Were they to be next...?
It was then, at the time of this thought passing in Dani's tumbling brain, that Mareshin stated his purpose, at least, his pupose for this visit. The next was likely to be less friendly.
"That is an interesting lineage you have there, half breed, relax I have no quarrel with you nor your lineage. Undoubtedly you have heard of my own."
Ah!! That made perfect sense! Zion, a half breed, though not one of her own lineage, one mixed of angel and demon. This accounted for his demonic aura, which Dani easily picked up on, and the peculiar aura she hadn't been able to directly identify.
This simple passing of conversation and previous promise of today's passing safely, seemed to help put both her companions at ease, Zion more so than Penny, but regardless of whom was more relaxed than whom, this gave Danielle some scrape of relaxation as well. She put all of her trust into the pair of them, and figured if they were okay with this man, then it would be safe for her to do the same.
At this, a most strange thing began passing. Or rather, stopped passing, for by some unknown force, the weather was stopped, changing drastically into a clear, star-lit night. Danielle's gaze landed in the deep blacks and blues of the night sky, and she found herself unable to pull her eyes from the beauty that held stead-fast to the sky. The harvest moon had always been her favorite, especially when she was a child, mostly because it didn't come often, and was a rare beauty to behold, and also because it inspired much child-like creativity from her delicate, young mind, once again, this was more so a factor of her love as a child. Still, the moon, the stars, and the night were her favorite. She loved them all equally.
Mareshin spoke, a blank statement it was, simply a comment on the moon and a memory past, also reciving a comment from Zion, before he asked something of greater significance.
"You don't seem quite able to relax young reaper, why so tensed?"
Danielle watched him circle her with an animalistic air of dominance, like a vulture waiting for the death of a wounded cub in the scorched savanna. The small reaper's responce was a little shocking, but only because she'd been so harsh to someone so far above her in the struggle of power, size and brawn. An apology followed, though, and Danielle could only admit she herself wouldn't have had even the courage to speak out to him like that, and gave her commedations to her for the apology.
Intorductions followed, but Danielle was more reluctant than her friends. It was easy to feel safer with them, but she just couldn't trust herself to give her name to him... She'd heard far too many spook-stories about what demons and magical beings could do simply with the name of a soul, and aside from this childish fear, she simply didn't want to be recognized, or be able to be searched for with greater ease, should the need for steal make itself nessicary.
For these reasons she remained silent, meeting his gaze stubbornly as it fell on her only momentarily. She hoped he would leave soon... He made her nervous. So much so, that she didn't even dare to move further from him for fear of drawing unnessicary attention.
She hated being pointed out for being half-human, and though she liked her humanity and the sense of right and wrong, and good and evil, she sometimes regretted it. Humans weren't much liked by demons, and vice-versa, and so many full-bloods hate her kind, seeing their blood as soiled, and seeing them as tainted, hating half-humans as if they themselves were traitors for mixing races. Danielle had gotten in trouble a couple of times before simply because of who she is. Not pretty, to say the least.
