Icarus paused at the sight of Draco. "Oh, hello, Draco," he greeted as walked opposite Draco and sat down. "Didn't expect to see you so soon."

Jaden looked around to see that Draco had come in. She didn't smile, she didn't grin, she didn't like him, nor hate him. She acknowledge his presence, "Hello Draco." She bent an eyebrow upward.

Luft looked over at her childhood friend and let a true smile slide over her face. She stood and crossed the room in a few strides, then glanced him over.
"Gods, Draco, you look terrible."
She said with a smirk on the corner of her mouth. Then she smiled openly again and hugged him tight, planting a kiss on each cheek.
"It has indeed been a while, too long of a vacation, I say! So what has occupied your time so much that you could barely write to me this summer, let alone see me?"
She fixed him with a frown and tapped her foot as if to say 'I'm waiting...'

Will drew a small black book from his pocket and opened it at the book mark. he opened it and found his spot and began to read the book silently. every so often he let out a little laugh.

"Jaden," he returned, nodding. He didn't get to know this girl too well last term and the only thing he could recall was her constantly bickering with that Will person. It wasn't a fond memory, so he returned his greeting with a look of neutrality, though he was full of distaste. She was a Slytherin, after all.
Draco looked at Luft flatly at her remark on his appearance, but it was soon replaced with a sleek smile at her display of affection. "I've been rather busy, Luft," said Draco, his cheeks with color. His expression then turned serious. "Thanks to Potter, my father is now in Azkaban, our house is under watch, you know, the basic ministry stuff," he said with a yawn. "No matter, though," he finished, taking another bite of his muffin. He could tell her what really kept him from responding, but that would have to wait for another time. "How did you spend your summer?"

Jaden went to get a bowl of water for Cloud. She came back and put it next to the couch on the ground. He lapped it up noisely. Jaden sat back down and crossed her legs, listening to the conversation.

Luft could tell Draco was hiding something, but it didn't worry her. She knew he'd tell her later. Instead of pestering him there for information, she decided to engage in small talk, starting first with her summer.
"Oh Draco, it was lousy. My family insisted on going to Bulgaria to spend time with the Krums and all Victor could talk about was that stupid mudblood. He barely even wanted to play quidditch! Ugh, it disgusts me to think of him even considering tainting his bloodline on behalf of her."
She wrinkled her nose to show her distaste and looked to Draco to agree.
"Of course, give your father my love when you write him, would you please? And may I be permited to add a little note of my own? You see, I was quite unable to give him the proper thanks for my birthday gift, him being in in the middle of the trials and all. And later, the guards returned my letter saying only family had rights to send mail to inmates, do you believe that?"
She gave a sigh and shook her head a little, flipping her hair away from her face, where it had falen during her speech.

will closed the book and looked around the room. he looked at the familiar sight of draco and smirked. it was nice to have a pureblood in the room that thought it revolved around him. it drew attention away from jaden. he thoght as he looked back nd forth from jaden to draco.

Jaden saw Will, almost interacting with other people. She rolled her eyes at him as he made it quite obvious that he liked her no more. Although she really didn't care. She let out a sigh, and continued to listen to the conversation.

Safiya entered the common room and found several occupants already there. She raised her brows at them and trumped over to a vacant chair where she gracefully sat down and placed her bag by her side. She avoided anyones gaze and simply stared in space.

Icarus watched Will stomp out of the room again. What a social bore, he always thought. Never talked to anyone, and when he did, he was always arguing with Jaden. He yawned. He needed to talk to Will soon, though he didn't see it as being a very eventful or exciting conversation.
He sniffed at Draco ignoring him, but didn't think much of it as he had already seen enough of him over the summer. He turned to head back up to the dormitory and get some sleep.

Draco's nose also wrinkled at the mention of that filthy mudblood. He had really hoped that basilisk would have taken care of the girl. He was disappointed in Krum's infatuation and made a mental note to mention his distaste to Granger. Too bad he didn't know Krum any better, otherwise he would need to have a long talk with him. Maybe he didn't know her bloodline. That seemed a logical explanation.
He laughed suddenly. Krum wasn't particularly good-looking (at least not like himself) and Granger was definitely ugly; perhaps they deserved each other. Yes, that seemed fitting.
He nodded at Luft's request. Then snorted. "Those stupid guards. They only do stuff like that because they have nothing better to do. They act as if my father were to go mad and start jinxing the entire ministry. That would be fun though," he admitted. "Yeah, you can throw a note in next time I get around to writing him. Don't know when it will be, though," he said, stretching. "He'll be out soon, you can probably just thank him personally." He shrugged.

::will walked back into the common room with a plate of food and sat down at the study table. he laid a dark green book down next to the plate ad opened it up to a chapter entitled "the blood king- the history of" hescanned the chapter rather fast as he munched on his food. every so often he would take down a few notes on a piece of parchment. after a few moments of scribbling after a long passage he rolled the parchment and set it into his bag. he looked around than back at the book::
