But I do enjoy a good yaoi. =D Not loli yaoi, though. O_O;;; That's Zim and Dib Romance.....ew, right? I looked it up on photobucket and now I'm scared. Yeah....I don't mind it at all...but some stuff that people post on the internet. *shudders* I became involunarily subjected to tenticle rape. Enough said.

I can appreciate yaoi, and see the attraction in it, but for me, there must e some textual evidence to support the relationship. Personally, I don't think any Nny pairing is appropriate, even NnyxDevi, because his whole thing, his epiphany after his death and resurrection is that everything that forces you to act is an addiction, whether it's hunger, thirst, or sexual desire- and if you submit to those drives, then you let them control you. His point was that it's better to be like Mr. Samsa, the cockroach, who only acts aside from his purpose in absolute necessity.
As such, any sort of romantic relationship, whether hetero or yaoi violates the essence of Nny's being inasmuch as his desire is to be further apart from the world. Like he says to Tess when she accuses him of being the girl Mmy raped - I spend enough time trying not to touch or be touched! (not an exact quote)

Yeah, that's what I'm saying, Ralthuriel. And don't get me wrong, I did fall for the NnyxDevi pairing for a bit because he did seem happy and it would be nice for him to be happy in is own maniacal ways. But as I read on in the series, I realized it was impossible for Johnny to have a relationship with any other character.

Let's face it, if it were not for the crazy yaoi fangirls and such, ALL of the TV shows and movies and stuff would die because nobody would be as passionate as to mess up the order of things. W/O us, the world would die...and it gives yaoi haters and us something to talk about smile

I really liked zarla's fanficfiction vargas. That wasn't yaoi, but it inspired the whole edgar/nny pairing in the first place, so it deserves mentioning.

mmm I do love Yaoi with the passion of a thousand suns whee ...but I HATE ZADR & any other JV yaoi paring, especially any yaoi paring involving Nny or Dib. Oh the horror of the stuff I see on Deviantart when I type their names in the search bar burning_eyes .

Mmm I don't know about Yaoi, never really seen much of it...but I know that I hate ZADR with a passion. Also that whole EdgarxJohnny thing makes me want to slap nuns, same with any other sex type thingy involving Nny, considering that Johnny hates bodily fluids and touching people...it's just sooo not Johnny. It makes me angry inside!! Grrr.

Heh heh. I must agree that yaoi and JTHM don't exactly work out together, for reasons stated in my previous post.
I also must say that despite the large number of fans for it, (s**t, 8 out of every 10 IZ fanfics on Fanfiction.net is ZADR, and the ninth is another strange pairing) I dislike ZADR - the fangirl I keep locked in the back of my head likes Dib too much for him to be paired off with Zim.
@ Darkminno- tentacle rape… burning_eyes eww. Oh good sweet lord of all things chewy, not tentacle rape; I love Japan and things Japanese, but they can keep the tentacle hentai there.
I only read that stuff once, and on accident- one of my friends shoved an open Anita Blake Vampire Hunter (I believe it was one of those) book into my hands and told me to read. I love books, so I started skimming, and accidentaly came across tentacle porn! burning_eyes so disgusting.

Heh, not really. I generally can't stand any porn involving rape, let alone by tentacles. Of course, if you're having sex with tentacles voluntarily... I'd rather just live my life believing there's no one who's that perverted.
Anyhow, the yaoi thing. I'm all for it, so long as it's done well. Quality is what makes it worthwhile or not, as far as I'm concerned, and not the principles behind it. If someone could make a really sexy pic of Nny making out with another guy, I'd be all for it. It may be out of character, but that isn't the point. The point would be good, tasteful yaoi art.
