PlumKotoko comfy// Pastels. <333 I tried to use them before but I'm not very good with such a soft coloring medium. @___@
It's so sweeeeeet.
But most of the time I do not get around to soft. It's too messy. And you need this spray to get the pastels to stay on the paper and lock it in, but I can never find it. ;_;!

id love some, i really like pastels, and charcoals are muy bueno (:
I seem to always like the messy mediums. :B
'Cause most of the time I hate using my drawing pencils or my prismacolors.

id love some, i really like pastels, and charcoals are muy bueno (:Charcoal. *____* <3333 -luffs high contrast pictures- I luff pencil, sketches of any sort, charcoal.. anything. xD comfy// OO: Never tried oil! That sounds so cool. O: I just use boring colored pencils. xD

i freaking LOVE watercolors.
and charcoals -drool-
but you can use hairspray if you cant find the fixative at any art stores ):

Pastels aren't my thing. I've never tried them, but I don't think I want to. xD
One of my favourite medias to use is watercolours. I recently tried them in my painting class, and I absolutely love them. x3 What you can do with them is amazing. I'll scan in a watercolour that I messed up on, but was working on for my painting class.

I tried fixative once, and the color got all ******** up and I touched it to see if it was dry, and the pastel came off. D: It still did it after an hour.

like how you can use water to remove color from the paper, or use white crayons to keep the paint off of certain spots <33;

Soft pastels are the chalk-like ones.

Yes, you can win more than one prize. =D
And I would definately recommend watercolours. Wood is completely right; they're so flexible, and with just a bit of water, you can blend dry or wet paint.
And you don't even need an expensive set. I use a cheap $10 set and it does wonders.
