I like unlikely-seeming couples.
Like an angel and a demon...
Ones where it seems that both couldn't like each other, but actually do.

Recently I realized I'm crazy about couples who struggle a lot, like Eiri and Shuichi in Gravitation and Ayase and Kanou in Okane ga Nai whee
Eiri and Shu have been through a lot, but they still remain together and simply need each other. They're one of the best couple to write fanfics about! blaugh
Ayase is just sooo confused about Kanou (not the scream kind, but the cry kind) that I just want to huggle him! >///< They're actually uber confused about each other!
I love both the 'best friends' and the 'strangers falling at a glance', because I can totally imagine myself falling like that for a close friend, and I like to picture how amazing it would be to have that kind of unforgettable counter that turns into something amazing when you began as mere strangers heart

Uchimaki Yuuzora Hmm... I'm pretty much tied between best friend romances and rival romances. I used to be all fluff, WAFF type material (and I still do love it), but now I find myself getting into darker, angstier romance as well. Incest seems to be pulling me in, and I've always loved the crack romances that pair off people who make absolutely no sense (ie-KyuuOro--darn those fanfics!) or sometimes haven't even met. (ie-NejiGaa anyone? xd ) I can't think of any of the other stuff that I'm into at the moment. I know I totally agree, I love Gaara and Neji together n I don't even know why. I like alot of different type but I guess it all depends on the characters involved. But the forbiden love and the love/hate relationships are my fav. whee
