*blinks and wonders how it's going to eat the cookie*
Guys and Dolls is a musical about gamblers and the girls (or 'dolls') who try to change them. *shrug* It's really amusing to watch.

It is funny. ^_^ One pair of characters have been engaged for 14 years, and the female character keeps trying to get the other to actually FINALLY marry her. There's a drunk in the play too...the gamblers are amusing...it just has to be watched to understand completely.

I've heard the name of the play, but I haven't seen it. I love musicals and stuff though. My old highschool does some really good ones. Last year it was "A Funny thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" and it was HILARIOUS! I died with laughter. When they did Evita, that was sooo good. And Oz. lol.
XD I don't participate in them though. I just watch them.

I would make somewhat intelligent replies...but my brain isn't working at the moment. I like drama club, but it's draining.

Little known fun fact :
Drama Angel.. has been in Guys and Dolls. Still remembers which song was her favorite.
"Can do! Can do! This guy says the horse can do! If he says the horse can do, Can do! Can do!"
Or something like that. ::Sigh:: Those were the days....
I was also in Pipin; Into the Woods; Peter Pan; Matchmaker [or whatever the hell that musical was called, I tried to block it from my memory ToT]; Godspell; You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown; Music Man; State Fair; Fiddler on the Roof... Yeah, those were the days. >.<;;
And she's right. Drama class is draining.

That song is good, and it's something like that, I wouldn't be able to say if it's exact since I only listen to it and don't have it memorized...yet. ninja
Yes, draining. Though, it is an understatement at times. Last night I had one until only 9:30, I got home and slept all day today. sweatdrop It was a nice rest though.
