Most of those kids are not donating with their own money anyways i'm sure. biggrin I give up money every now and then but it's no major issue or something to wave about as a status symbol. I only do it to support the site.

I said something to that effect to some kid that was bothering me. I asked him if his parents knew that he was using their credit card. lol He didn't bother me anymore after that.

Ma'am. I hate it when they call me 'Ma'am'. I'm only 33 for crying out loud. I really don't remember thinking that 30-year-olds were "old" when I was a teen.
But the best one was: 'did they have computers when you were a kid?' I couldn't help it. I had to tell him 'no', and that Mtv used to only play music videos!!
I am glad I have not been called a '*****' yet, being a parent that hates '*****'. But some of these kids on here are really messed up. I have 4 girls and if I ever saw them post anything like some of the wierdos on here, they'd be in REALLY big trouble!

Yes, Ma'am! xp

Do you have a death wish, sir!?!? LOLOL Just kidding, of course! rofl

Ma'am doesn't bother me one bit, but I grew up in the South. IT would be bad manners not to use sir or ma'am. It's really a sign of respect, I'll take it, lol.

Well, I will then have to send all of my "ma'ams" your way... You can have them. I actually prefer 'miss'. xd

I'm old and I was raised to always call someone you don't know "sir" or "ma'am" as a sign of respect. I do it still and I get some of the strangest looks from 20-somethings.

Lol, what's funny is that when hubby was in basic, they mentioned that Southern boys are easier to adapt to that because they all ready have sir/ma'am instilled.

Now when my son is in trouble, he knows to use "ma'am." xd

I'll send the "miss" ones your way! biggrin

Lol
That would be me. Whenever someone calls me ma'am it throws me off, especially since most most people think I'm 19 at the oldest, even though I'm 24. I look at them funny for a second while my brain computes that I've just been called ma'am. xd

I think I'd be rather creeped out if a 9 year old was hitting on me. At 26, I'm apparently not quite at that age that's considered too old for some. I still get some that aren't deterred when I say that about myself.

That's cool. At least your son has respect. It's really cute when little kids say ma'am! 3nodding

Wow, AuraLyn, that's just.... wow. eek

There are a lot of childrens on the interenet who shouldn't be allowed on the internet, seriously. I'm surprised no kids have found them selves in serious trouble via Gaia yet.

Actually, I think the funniest thing had to be the dead silence I got after breaking it to some thirteen year old that he'd been trying to pick up on a 21 year old English major with such smooth lines as: "r u hawt n rl?"
