Uhhh because they have a messed up mind set I guess. It does not make you lez at all you would think that made you even more straight because you are not looking at half undressed girls. It really has nothing to do with each other so I really have no idea where they are getting it.

Heh, well some yaoi/shounen-ai is so girly that I wonder if the girls that read are lesbians. EXAMPLE: why would a supposedly straight girl like a boy who looks just like a girl, minus the boobs?
I'm a bi guy who prefers men, and anytime I see a shounen-ai/yaoi boy dressed like a school-girl or just dressed really girly . . . I don't take interest in it. So why would a supposedly straight girl take interest in it?

For that reason is very easy for a girl see yuri if she see yaoi.
I prefer yuri over yaoi. Yuri is for straight girls too.

They're just being stupid. I've had several people ask me that. Here's a conversation I had with this guy in one of my classes recently...
Guy: Hey, are you lesbian, or something?
Me: Hun, if I were lesbian, why would I watch two GUYS going at it?
Guy: To satisfy your man cravings.
Me: O__o Idiot, if I were an lesbian, and wanted a man, then I wouldn't be lesbian in the first place.
Guy: Oh...
(Though, in my case, I'm bi. ^__^;; )
