Pilaco Kind-of-ish right. In Chinese it's pronounced Lee-Chh, but in Taiwanese it's pronounced Ly(lie)-chee. Taiwan is famous for their Lychee, so I assume that's why they spelled it like that. Lychee=Lie-jee (right way) but I assuming you're using the English simplified chinese syllabic alteration. So, if you want to pronounce it COMPLETELY correct, it would be Lie-jee. But you don't want to sound Taiwanese, do you? So just go ahead and pronounce it the closest way, Leechee.... which sounds wrong to me, but maybe not others. n_n Lee-Jrrr.... Hmmm.... Maybe in cantonese, they pronounce it Leechee... gotta ask my friend that.... Well I was asking her because Lici is short for Alicia, which is her name. o_O And since in Alicia it's pronounced Aleesha, I was wondering if I should pronounce it Leechee or Leeshee. xD;
