See, I could care less about stuff. Lord knows I've got enough of it. I mean, I do need some things, but presents on the whole can be annoying when you don't have room for them.

Though Anti (my fiance) did stand in line for a few hours just to get HP&THBP for last year's birthday. And he doesn't even like Harry!

Except I could never figure out Russian.

Or Greek, for that matter.

Which is sad, considering I'm hopng to go into the ministry.

Which means I'm got to learn Greek and Hebrew.

My mom is actually an ordained minister (UCC) and all she had to learn was classical Greek. It was easy enough that she learned it over one summer, so I imagine that once you get used to the declensions (only three cases!), it's easier than you think.

If ever you need the help of an (admittedly amateur, as of yet) linguist, let me know.

The Anti might be taking me out to eat, but then again, our scheduling's fouled up because of the date of my birthday. Bah.

Mother swears she's getting me yarn and knitting needles, and Anti tells me that he's getting me an iPod.

I hope he's joking.

How sad is it that I want armour for my birthday, not an iPod?

Yay knitting and armor! It's the best of both worlds; femininity and power. double pointed needles make great weapons, BTW. If you get an iPod (or even if you don't!) I'll have to give you the links to some of my fav knitting podcasts.

I just learned, like a month ago, so I'm still getting the hang of things. The scarf I'm working on is blue and sea green...and it's so soft. And I'm such aa yarn junkie!
