Hi! i'm new and i'm bored -.-
is anyone here?

I just started the sereis this August
i'm on the 6th book The Killing Dance now ^^
I wasn't too impresed with the first book and Anita's attitued really bugged
me...but i read the second one and loved it and i've been hooked ever since ^^ Anita grew on me ^^ and I'm liking Jean-Claude more and more
^^ i absolutly loved Edward from the begining ^^

What was it about Anita's attitude that you didn't like? I am trying to think back to Guilty Pleasures and what she was like then to figure it out.

just how coky and sarcastic she was...i was like "ummm, stop making
cracks at the 1000 year old vampier hun..."and i didn't
think her jokes where very funny stare like if i was a vampier..
i would have wanted to slap her too... but now
i like her sarcasm ^^ she really grew on me

OMG!!!!!!! I emailed Wynette A. Hoffman the woman I have been raving about in the "like Anitaverse books" line of discussion topics on here. And she emailed me back personally!!!!! Next to LKH's books, Ms. Hoffman's book Blood is Thicker than Water is my all time fav! I can't believe she emailed me back. She offered help and suggestions to me when I get ready to publish, (whenever that might be in the far future.) I am giddy. I can't believe it!

I'm going to have to pick up that book. It's pretty neat that she responded to you personally too. It's always refreshing to hear an author isn't too busy to speak with those who enjoy his/her work.

Also, didn't know you were getting ready to publish. Any other details on just what we can look forward to?

Oh no, I am not anywhere close to getting ready to publish. She just said when I was ready eventually, she would be glad to point me in the right direction. I am sorry if it sounded like publication was soon, good god I wish! If I could actually finish writing one of the books that I start, that might be a good sign. But she emailed me again and said she would be willing to read something I wrote! So I have emailed part of what I am working on now. I will let you know what she says!!!! She seems quite generous.

Let me know what you think if you get your hands on a copy of Blood is thicker than water! I love it!!!!!!!

I know exactly what you mean by not being able to finish. I'm the same way. All the revising and overall procrastination does it for me =x

And yay! Someone willing to help sounds like a great idea. She sounds very generous, indeed. Keep us posted on all the details wink

Thanks! What kind of stuff do you write?

Usually things that would probably be on the shelf next to the Anita series (if I ever made it as far). Other than supernatural tales I write poetry when the mood hits me (hasn't hit in years) or sometimes murder mysteries.. What can I say? I'm a freak xd

How about you?

Same thing. Usually some kind of supernatural flavor to the stories. I would love it if you would post some of your poetry.

I will have to dig some up. I'll warn you now, it's more than likely way bad. Most of the poetry I have saved to disk I wrote during my angsty teenage years xp

There's nothing wrong with angsty.

Kinda late but I figured I'd ask how everyone spent their spring break. That is, if you were lucky enough to get one. I personally have been busy as a bee and the day I took off (yes, just one day) was so nasty as far as weather was concerned that I just spent it inside being moody sweatdrop

Hey you guys, I just wanted to let you know I am reading Tarot full time now for a company online called Psychic Source, and doing my jewelry full time. I am much happier working for myself than I was working for the doctor I used to work for.

I am much more relaxed and am not so stressed. I got so stressed at the end that I broke out in hives. I looked like a monster.

I have also started a new story.
