My favorite movies... hmm....
"MOON CHILD". That's my all-time favorite movie because: 1) It's about VAMPIRES. blaugh 2) The main characters of the movie are two of my favorite musicians. 3) It's just... a shiny movie. It makes me laugh, it makes me cry, and it leaves me very confused at times. Well, not "at times". More like at the end.
The original Japanese version of this movie is what I'm talking about. I doubt the potential of the American remake. Besides, the remake doesn't have my favorite musicians in it. gonk -------------------------------------------------
Coming in second would have to be "RENT. It's a very comical way of portraying an impoverished and AIDS-ridden lifestyle. Very enlightening as well. --------------------------------------------------
"Pirates of the Caribbean". One word- FUNNY. --------------------------------------------------
"The Lakehouse". That movie made me cry. crying It was very much like something I would do, actually. xd Comedy, fantasy, romance- Yeah, that's me. xp -------------------------- Okay, I'll leave this post alone now.

Dead Poets Society. It made me cry, and I'd only ever done that at Edward Scissorhands.

Casino Royale is DEFINITELY the best Bond movie ever made, and and damn fine flick.
My favourites: American Beauty Blazing Saddles Boondock Saints Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind History of the World pt. 1 The Nightmare Before Christmas O Brother, Where Art Thou Second-Hand Lions Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory Beauty and the Beast [rant] 'cause she didn't just fall for the first cute guy she met, she got to know the guy BEFORE throwing her life aside to be with him. I swear, I can't stand the Little Mermaid. She sees this jerk ONE TIME and she's ready to run away from her life and her family and possibly get turned into a piece of coral by some witch-that she knows is evil. Belle is the only damn one of those Disney princesses with a lick of sense. [/rant]
These are the movies I crave, the movies I relive in my mind over and over again, and watch everytime they come on [and not just because there's nothing better on].

No movie has come even close to being anywhere near as good as V for Vendetta. I doubt that any movie ever will.

Hero with Jet Li, because:
1.) The Story Is In A Story The main character, and the emperor both tell stories of what happened during the main characters ventures.
2.)Makes You Think Since two characters are telling you what both thought what happened. You gotta piece together what really happened and what were only lies.
3.) Colourful Scenes Each scene is accompanied by a solid colour, usually to fit in with mood.
Coming close behind is prolly V For Vendetta. it has a good lesson to teach others, and i love the literature.
