Salem tries to come out swinging at Omen and Butler, but it's just too much, too soon - forcing him down to the canvas as he's stomped on to the anger of the crowd!

The crowd boos in anger as Omen and The Butler assault a wounded Salem Croft after his match, while Cartwright crawls towards the nearest turnbuckle, staying clear of the action.
Omen raises an open hand up, his right arm behind his head, as he signals that he wants to deliver a devastating chokeslam to Salem!

Rex races from the back. Sliding into the ring, he jumps to his feet and attempts to spin Omen and catch him with a nasty headbutt. If successful, he would shift his attention and attempt to catch Butler with a vicious right to the jaw.

JR: "Now here comes Korporate Kobra, doesn't Cartwright Strong Style already have the numbers advantage?"
King: "Rex sure is in a rush to have his turn!"
The crowd is shocked and comes alive as Rex begins to fight with Omen and The Butler, a headbutt dizzying Omen on his feet while The Butler staggers backwards from a right hand!
JR: "WHAT THE?!"
King: "NOT THEM REX!"

Not wanting to give them a chance to try and blindside him, Rex would turn his attention to Omen, attempting to deliver a massive Tomahawk Chop to his chest.
If successful, he would attempt to do the same to The Butler.

Rex keeps the momentum going as he strikes both men across the chest, Cartwright watches from the corner, still exhausted from the match!

Rex revels in his chaos for a moment, shooting a looking to Salem before attempting to Chokeslam the Butler.

Rex prepares to further punish The Butler with a chokeslam, but with his back turned to him, Omen sees this as his chances to strike Rex from behind with a clubbing blow to knock him to the mat!

Rex was poised and ready. Hand up. Just about to grab... Then the blow to the back sent him to the mat creating any momentum the big man had built up.

Rex had tried to interfere, confusing the groggy Salem as to why he was attacking his own allies! Was Rex attempting to help Salem? "Showtime" didn't ponder the question very long, knowing he had to act fast if he wanted to change things! With a desperate burst of strength, "The Copperhead" struck, attempting to charge Omen!

Salem charges towards Omen, but The Freak knows someone is approaching, turning around to grab Salem by the throat before he can do anything to him.
With all the power that he can muster, Omen lifts Salem up and plants him in to the mat with a HUGE Kane-like Chokeslam.
The crowd loudly boos as it appears that Salem's victory has been spoiled by Cartwright Strong Style.
Omen orders The Butler to grab something, which he appears happy to do.
The Butler enthusiastically leaves the ring to grab a baseball bat.
JR: "Oh no, are they going to repeat what started all of this five years ago?"
King: "I hope so, I need a break from Salem's face on my monitor!"
Omen holds Salem in place on the mat, allowing The Butler to raise the baseball bat high in to the air, as he prepares to swing it down towards Salem.
SMASH!
Omen and The Butler look shocked, the crowd gasps, as Cartwright has dived in front of the bat and taken the hit across his back!

Salem thought he could capitalize on Omen's distraction, but the big man was too fast and fresh to be caught off-guard, slamming Salem into the canvas with a wicked chokeslam! The next few moments were a blur of sight and sound, "Showtime" barely registering as he sat up or was held up, a dreamy look in his eyes.
He blinked though as it seemed like Cartwright had jumped in front of him, protected him, from someone swinging a bat. The experience was strange and surreal, blood pumping and making his head throb as he tried to process what was happening!

The clubbing blow had been enough to take Rex to the mat but it wasn't enough to take him out. While Omen and The Butler saw to Salem, Rex started to recover. Cartwright dove in front of a bat swing. As Omen and Butler looked shocked, Rex would see to capitalize by rising, spinning him around, and trying to deliver a kick to his gut to double him over before attempting to follow it up with the double underhook DDT.

Rex takes advantage of the situation, which allows him to kick The Butler and drop his head in to the mat with the Double Underhook DDT.
The Butler rolls out of the ring following the attack, it appears that he's done for the evening after all this!

Salem was working on pure instinct and adrenaline, giving everything he had left into a desperate charge to try and shove Omen into and over the ropes once Rex gave him an opening by clearing Butler out of the ring and distracting him!
