Hiro Shin-Mozas vs [Rex Kobra] (Steel Cage)

Emiko stood far too close! Hands tightly in the holes and face pressed against the mesh! Her eye watching on in eager fascination!

"huff...huff...you're wh-what?" Hiro managed to cough out a perplexed response to Rex's claim. While the two were such close friends and partners a decade ago, Hiro had no idea Rex had ever had any children, let alone a grown adult daughter. Hiro was beginning to wonder if Rex was even older than he thought he had been, at that. Perhaps this whole "Cult of the Serpent" thing was much less a silly cult and more so a real deal. Rex wasn't going to let Hiro contemplate the situation for much longer though as he sent him crashing back down to the ground with a russian leg sweep, it causing a loud thud as the cage rattled and Hiro's bloodshot eyes shot back open in pain. The fans booing was an afterthought now, a hook that would serve as the basis for this song going forward.

With Hiro downed again, Rex rose and looked to Emiko before staring out at the crowd. With a wicked grin he ran to the the ropes and as he came back, would attempt to squash Hiro with a Senton of his own.

Hiro coughed up a little bit more of the fire extinguisher's discharge, trying to suck in as much oxygen as he could as Rex lovingly smiled at the destruction he and his daughter just committed to the foundation of Hiro's support and his body. The Kobra would not be done naturally, shaking the ring as he ran to the ropes and rebounded with a huge senton to Hiro's body, causing it to flounder for a moment before he came to a rest laying on his bad arm, breathing labored with his good arm hooked around the gut trying to stop from potentially being sick, it seemed.

"This is your hero? Really? This battered lump of agony." Rex proclaimed loudly at the crowd, prompting them to grow in volume with boos. Rex laughed at them before bending to grab Hiro by the arm and drag him into position in front of a turnbuckle. If he was able to move his foe without problems, then Rex would climb to the top turnbuckle. It was a rare feat to see the big man climb up top, but still up he went, then down down he came as he jumped off attempting to land on Hiro with a leg drop from the top rope.

Hiro was dragged across the ring, leaving a little streak of blood behind that was coming from his now red bandages -- it looked like the senton had finally broken a seal enough to leak through the heavy bandages. His trip stopped in front of the turnbuckle, and the shadow of Rex began blocking out the lights...this couldn't be good. The Ethnic Enigma raised his arms slightly but barely got them off the ground, they were glued there by the lack of strength. Rex would then take flight, and drill his legs into the chest and shoulders of Hiro with a massive leg drop from the top rope! Hiro again saw his eyes nearly pop from his chest as his coughing grew more aggressive, white specs of chemical flying out among the saliva. His throat was tightening up as it felt like he was spending more time trying to keep from throwing up than actually breathing at this point. He was going to pass out soon if he couldn't stop Rex from delivering these heavy blows...but how on earth was he gonna be able to do that?!

Rex would march around the ring, posing and taunting the crowd. Most people would stay on their opponents but with Hiro's current state, Rex figured he had a moment or two to bask in his dominance. After a lap around the ring, he would go back to his opponent, he would attempt to bring Hiro back up to his feet and prop him in the corner. If he got him there, Rex would run across to the opposite corner before charging at Hiro and attempting once again to catch him with a Body Avalanche like he had missed earlier.

Hiro wasn't in any position to fight back here, lifted to his feet and causing Rex to do all of the heavy lifting to make it possible. He was tossed backward into the corner and held up as Rex hooked his arms around the top rope. The Ethnic Enigma raised his head slowly to see Rex approaching the far away corner, and as the ring shook with Rex's turn, he let out a sigh. He covered his bad arm with his good arm, turned slightly, and ate that devistating body avalanche in as good a way he could to avoid further damage to his bad arm -- but it did crush his shoulder and cause him to fall down out of the corner as Rex peeled his own body away following the move. This was turning into the "Passion of Hiro Shin-Mozas" very, very fast.

Rex looked down at Hiro and bent to try and pick him up off the mat again. If he got the man up off the mat with as much ease as he thought it would take, he would attempt to suddenly lock in a sleeper hold while forcing Hiro to look out at the crowd. He wanted the crowd to see the light fade from their hero and he wanted Hiro to see the people he was going to disappoint by getting decimated.

Hiro's vision was now at it's most blurry -- a concussion he wasn't entirely over from months prior was starting to come to the forefront. He was in so much pain, suffering to such a serious degree here...and yet, he did not quit. There was an overwhelming desire to escape, but not to just give up. If Hiro would run away, it would only be as the victor of the match. Rex began to lift him up, and would slip behind Hiro to lock his head up in a sleeperhold! Hiro almost immediately dropped to a knee, the strength to keep himself up through this totally gone. He put his hands to Rex's arm and tried to claw it off, but it was to no avail. The fans booed, some extremely worried as they stared into the glazed and red eyes of th Ethnic Enigma. He was in hell now with Rex just as he had been for months dealing with the snakes.

Rex kept the sleeper on as Hiro took a knee. With a chuckle he would attempt to pull up and force Hiro to stand before turning, aiming to force Hiro to move with him and stare out at another portion of the crowd while his arm coiled even tighter around Hiro's throat like the serpent that he worshipped.

Hiro again was pulled to his feet, this time by the sleeper which was certainly a worse feeling than Rex's mitts on his arm. He was forced to face a different side of the crowd, looking out at a sea of people who's faces read fear for his safety -- but also pity. This was what had been building to a head for Hiro of late...the fact that the same crowd who loved him for so long was now beginning to pity him. As if they were watching an old, broken man who could no longer defend himself and instead was being constantly bullied by others due to a mental illness he had...a refusal to accept that life had went on while he nursed a weakened body back to a less-than state. This, if nothing else, was a driving force for Hiro to keep coming back no matter how much damage he sustained. He didn't belong in this ring tonight, he probably shouldn't be wrestling anymore at all after the losses and injuries he'd sustained in less than eight months of being back in the ring...but as he'd said when he came out of retirement, if he couldn't wrestle -- he didn't need to walk anymore. There was no use to being alive if he couldn't still fight his heart out in a wrestling ring, and with that realization, a second flame ignited. His legs started to steel themselves beneath the weight of the two competitors and and Hiro started to drag himself forward with Rex, attempting to scale the turnbuckle closest and leap backwards in an attempt to send them both down and catch Rex in a pinfall attempt ala Bret and Austin!

Rex let go of the hold so that he could kick out of the pinfall attempt. As soo as he broke the hold, he started to get back to his feet, rage and frustration shaking his body and causing that once happy look that was on his face just moments prior to vanish and get replace with that dour scowl of his.

Hiro wasn't expecting that to catch Rex off guard enough to defeat him, but it did the next best thing: break the hold. Hiro sucked in air rapidly as he pushed up to his feet again, joining Rex. He tired to slam a hard chop into his chest to stun in him place for a moment only to look at a hard point-of-the-knee blow to his midsection to double him over! What was Hiro planning here?! Where was this coming from!?

As soon as he was up, Rex was met with a chop. Surprised by the sudden show of offense, he was also caught in the gut by Hiro's knee to his gut which caused him to double over with a cough.
