@ Ray's on the River:
Discarding her daytime torch at the door by thrusting it into a pile of snow ((-1 torch from inventory)), Acorn would guide Puck into the tavern. She would smile and wave politely to the young man, before trying to find Puck as close of a spot as he could near the hearth.
"Come, have a seat. If we're going to go gravdigging, we need to build up our strength first, so I'll see if I can get us some grub first," she would explain to her newfound friend.
If he permits, she would then go to the bar to talk to the young man, and slide a gold piece across the counter ((-1 gp from inventory)). Speaking lowly to him so Puck wouldn't overhear, she'd tell him, "Hey, this man almost froze to death and I need him to thaw out some. Give him anything he wants but keep him by the fire and by the you-know-whos, don't let him back outside. I'll come back for him as quick as I can; I kinda sorta have a thing I need to be doing."

Morenth followed last, rolling his eyes as he attempted to do his best to not make a sound or be seen by anything that may be down here (Stealth: 16). Looking about the room, he'd move to inspect the jars of liquids and valuables, wondering what they were and whether or not he could nick one or two at some point. (Perception: 8 )

Morenth's expert eyes, would tell him the valuables were varying shades of silvery grey and copper, poor man's jewelry made from iron and leather mostly. Where there might be a diamond in rough, you couldn't see any. (first glance price 3 sp each, at best. and four jars in to) The liquids, on the he other hand, were easier to appraise. Vast majority were blood at different stages of separation or coagulation(if the lid wasn't sealed). The others were strong scented oils. (price unknown) In any sense, the layer of dust on the shelves would suggest no one has been here, or used anything on the shelves, for some time(in short you believe swiping one would be easy). Corel song It was harder to concentrate with Derun's song, But... The conversation was between two people, though you could also hear the clambering of claws and boots on the stony ground. “… and two of them escaped!” A female's voice echoed. ”Valna, I beg you don't do this!” a deep male's voice fearfully cried back. ”Your failure lead to the death of a citizen. That citizen had a friend; who killed Ryia! Now that satyr should be dead by now. Killed by the night's bitter cold, under Nim's spell; a nobody in this land. And Kabolk has ordered your death, for your part in Ryia's death… I am sorry, I can't disobey.” A moment of silence followed, before she would continue. ”Release him and give us room, If he is to die by my hand, he will given the choice to pass as a warrior, or a coward.” ----------------------------------------------------- Puck would sit near the fire, as asked and waited eyeing the flames. The boy would look at Acorn and then at Puck, before slowly giving her a reluctant nod. "We will take care of him." he said with a forced smile, taking the coin from her.

Seraphina would whisper back to her teammates. "There's more of those grave robbing bandits up ahead and they're about to kill off one of their own for failing at something. Let's go interrupt their execution, shall we? I'd like to talk to their condemned; he might be willing to reveal more about what's going on now that he's their enemy."
Seraphina would round the corner and growl. "Hey! Just what the hell is going on here?! Is one of you Dara, or Rose? There was this crazy satyr up there and based on what you've been saying, you've got something to do with him, not to mention the person in the casket and those two captured goblins. So I'd like some answers, or is this conversation going to take the route I'm expecting?" Seraphina cracks her knuckles with her last sentence. ( 14 Intimidate check)
While talking, Seraphina also glances around the room looking for any potential traps or pitfalls. ( 27 Perception check)

( Human, Drake, Halfling, Kobold, Valna* with white dot. Seraphina, Morinth, Duren/Corel Not present, but thought of... AcornGrey area is too dark to see) The room was larger and not all of it was properly lit, though of the part she could see, it was largely unremarkable. Aside from scratch marks on the stone floor where it would appear heavy things have been moved, and a gaping hole in the center, covered by loose dry-rotted planks of timber. In the room stood 5 shapes, one of which a human male who sat on his knees hands bound behind his back. The shape above him was elven, female, armed with a large slightly curved sword(falchion) and a symbol of Bane adorn her chest; Valna, Seraphina would assume. The other shapes where a guard drake, a kobold, and a halfling. Valna, stood stunned at Seraphina's blunt and unexpected, possibly intimidated. The kobold and hobbit would look at each other before bursting out in laughter. Falling prone with tears flowing down, kind of laughter. The drake stood still, clearly unfazed by the intimidate(most likely it didn't understand common) The human would be the first to answer, "Rose is a Surname! Free me, I will hel...!" The human would quickly call out, but would wince and quickly fall back to silence as the edge of Valna's weapon touched his neck. "Coward! Nos!"(Only Morenth's legendary ears would know that draconic word, Attack.) (Roll those lovely initiative rolls.)

Unfazed by their laughter, Seraphina would smile, showing her fangs. She was kind of hoping this would be their answer. "Very, well. I will enjoy tasting everyone's blood."

Returning to Puck's side, Acorn would take one of his hands in hers, and place her other on top. "Mister Puck, I have some bad news. I just remembered, I kind of sort of have a thing I need to do. It'll be real quick! It mostly has to do with a kobold not robbing dwarves and dragonborn. Babysitting, really. But I kind of promist. If you wait here for me I'll be back as fast as I can."
If Puck was accommodating to her bailing on him already, Acorn would try to return to the graveyard at a brisk jog.

Duren moved unto the room, following Seraphina when he heard the conversation over his humming, finally. It was a surprising situation to find, but the crotchety old dwarf just smiled, gripping his staff firmly in his hands. (17 Initiative)

Upon hearing Seraphina, he'd give her his utmost attention. For to ignore the Blessed One would be unforgivable. As such, he was well prepared for when the enemy yelled to attack. (Initiative - 22)

The Kobold would snatch up his hand crossbow and fire a shot at the Drake, before quickly moving into cover behind the wall and doing his best to keep small.

The drake would attempt to charge Seraphina, but was caught in the knee by the Kobold's bolt(It used to be an adventurer drake.[too much?]). Stumbling to the ground, it would slide the rest of the way and only bump her with it's muzzle.
(All the bonuses in the world can't stop a roll of 1)
The human rolled away from his old, sword wielding, friend on to the planks of wood which would snap under his weight, sending him into the darkness below.
Halfling scrambled quickly to his feet, and let loose his dagger. The blade would cut into Seraphina(-7hp).
Duren is up, then Seraphina...

"..." Duren was a little surprised that the drake would be such a clumsy beast. However, the fact that they were in trouble could not be denied. It was time to act. His eyes glowed briefly as his gaze locked on the beast. Since he had the room, Duren would circle around to get more behind the drake and swing his quarterstaff with a large, sweeping motion. Since the boards were broken, leaving a hole, the Dwarf was trying to sweep this foe into the hole and out of the way.

19/26 HP Seraphina growls at the drake. "I'll teach you to try and bite me!" Throwing back her cloak, Seraphina bares her claws and fangs and lunges at the creature. She bites and claws at its neck. After finding her mark, (assuming a 20 hits ) she pulls back and spits a piece of flesh out of her mouth. With blood dripping from her lips, she glares at the halfling that had nicked her with the dagger. "I'm coming for you next, you little s**t!" Minor action: Hunter Quarry on the Drake Move action: Seraphina shifts to G9 to get flanking on the Drake Standard action: Marauders Rush 20 Vs Drake's AC 18 damage on a hit.

Morinth AcornDrake Blooded, prone Human Halfling Duren/Corel Seraphina Kobold hidden Valna*with white dot. Duren's swing was true and on the mark, but was found lacking against the drake's armored hide. Seraphina's feast on the creature caused it to whine, as bright red blood sprayed forth from it's wound. The kobold would prove the smarter(?) of it's companion's, standing up it fell back into the shadows vanishing beyond the heroes sight. The elf would slowly walk around the hole, looking for the human. Stopping right behind, The Dragon Lady, and her blade bitting into Seraphina's back.(4 damage) (and we are back at the top,) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Acorn, As you close the distance, you are meet with a wall of people... people from the human burial thingy at the boneyard... running away from the grave yard. From your understanding of frantic common; something called The Beast, came back. (Your actions are yours, but I want to be a nice dm(for now) and get the healer to to the group, you are the orange dot... by Mama's(30) the graveyard is at 21. Playing it safe, at your current pace it will take you an additional about 420 squares[35 rounds, at 12 squares a round] I am giving you a headstart...] to reach the graveyard, plus a few more to reach them. I will allow you to make this an athletics skill challenge(dc 9 or less halves time, 10-14 same speed, 15+ double your current speed for the round, N20 Acorn harnessed her inner Flash, 10x your current speed.) You will stop and have to roll an saving throw, if you roll 3 times under dc 10 for your athletics checks. You can make your check at any point of the round, but they will only count on your tick. blah, blah, blah... Again, your actions are your own, I just feel kind of bad for you just hanging there...
