NARUNARUriri Funny. I actually know more about Japanese Gods and their folklore than I do about Greek mythology. Well I can say I know the basics. Like which god is which and some stories related to them. Just never been my topic of interest. So.. this will definitely be an experience and maybe a learning curve cause I will probably do some research. The Gods can be quite frivolous beings so I can see them doing something like this just for prestige or bragging rights sake and many not caring at all with toying with human lives. Haha. I guess being merely a consort and her name long diminished by poets, Amphitrite really wants to win huh.. Ah man. Been a while since Ive role-play so I'm excited for this. Haha. I think it'd be quite the comedic role play, with the Gods being frivolous, and whatnot, and Amphitrite really wishing to win this competition. I'm pretty excited for the role play, myself, too. I honestly think it's safe to say we're getting close to starting this role play. I don't know if I'm missing anything.

As long as we both know what our characters are, that's all we need to know. It'll be more fun trying to determine what the other character is like throughout the story. As for the thread, do you mind making it? Oh, I also forgot to ask what type of pictures you feel like using for this role play. I don't mind on which, but some people have a preference.

Not one for those long character profiles? How about settling for just something with a name, age, and a very short 3-5 sentence blurb? If that's alright with you? And alright. Can do. Will make the thread after dinner. As for pictures. Anime will do I guess. I'm more use to it. edit: thread link

Alright. That one works for me. Do you have a plot in mind, or do you feel you want to brainstorm a plot with me before we decide on roles and whatnot?

brainstorm. yes! :'D
I guess I have a one idea in mind tho.
going along the line of something like the elf princess is a spoil of war.
the king waged war on her elf people. won. killed everyone. or almost
everyone. keeps the elf princess as his spoil. brings her back to his
kingdom to gift to his son the prince. but hes a jerk. and she a jerk to him.
the human might be the princes personal knight/guard maybe. he has him
watch over the elf princess and stuff happens. xD
something something yeah? lol

I hadn't actually thought of that one. xD The one that I had in mind was the elven race was on the brink of extinction due to a war with a horde of orcs. There's only one kingdom left standing, and the humans, who aren't really too fond of elves, but don't wish to see them die out, send in a lone mysterious human knight to help fend off the orcs. The king orders the knight to protect his daughter, the princess, at all costs, but the princess isn't fond of a human watching over her. So, she plans on going out and fighting the orcs, herself, and driving them until they can surrender, and that's where it takes off. ^.^
That's just sort of what I had in mind, but I really like what you've got, too. Maybe we can combine the two! The human king that attacked the elven kingdom the princess was from had assistance from a horde of orcs!

The human king is evil anyway so I can see him making deals with
the orcs. And then betraying them xD
The king wants to conquer the world!

Sadly Im more use to playing male roles than I do female
