Squeaking in delight, the Rak bounced on her tip toes, tugging on Sombra's cloak to drag him out towards the dance floor. A loud continuous purr emitted from her throat as she sashayed along in front of the cloaked faun before stopping at a clear space on the dance floor.
She reached up and latched her arms around his neck, careful not to pull is cloak so much that it revealed a large portion of him. She found it silly, always hiding, but that was his wish and she'd obey it. Didn't stop her from vocally teasing him about it though. "Why must you always wear this silly thing. And such a drab color in this mighty pink place." she teased, resting her head on his chest as her feet began to move in dance pattern.
Her eyes lay half shut, a dreamy relaxed grin on her face, though her senses remained alert. She watched any and all she could through the half shut eyes, making a mental check list of what she thought Sombra could use and what he couldn't use. The teen with the claw interested her greatly, it was something she hadn't personally seen before. She couldn't stop herself from imagining if it could crush skulls with ease. A delighted dark giggle escaped her lips at the thought.

Word of a glorious battle had reached the harpies ears, though she knew nothing of this so called Venus or her crazy parties. Having kept to herself, raising the unfortunate throwaway chick she had found, Erradika hadn't gotten out much. But now her chick was in her teen years and able to fend for her own, the dark and contrasting bright green harpy decided to get her talons wet with blood and have some fun.
Though it would assume she misjudged information and arrived...... a bit too late.
"This doesn't look like a battle....tsk." she huffed, ruffling her feathers and squinting an eye at the over abundance of pink. Half of her wanted to turn right back around and return to her nest but she had made the journey here. She might as well find some way to enjoy it.
Heaving over towards the snack table, her green eyes perused what it had to offer, picking out a few things here and there for taste tests. She eyed all of the party goers already here, only one other looking anything close to familiar to her, and that's only because the girl was exactly what she was. There also seemed to be a ton of youngsters running about too and that made her pause to think if she should have brought Ararcari along.....
Dysmas smiled and nodded his head, relieved that she had left everything at home. He had figured as much, but also wanted that peace of mind. "Yes, everything important to me is safe at home." Dysmas answered her, with a mischievous smile as he followed it up with, "Well, everything except for you. So I'll have to make sure you don't get into any trouble tonight." Dysmas looked around the party hall scene. Most everything seemed to be the same as before. Despite it being a whole year since the previous dance, everything had been so busy since then it felt like hardly any time had passed at all since he had been in this same room.
There was the dance floor and food and beverages. So there was mostly dancing to do, that was what they had done last year too. It was pretty much the one opportunity they got to do dancing together though, so he might as well take advantage of that. "How about a few dances?" He suggested as he pulled her onto the dance floor.

Spitfire's ears flicked as she heard her name called out, and her head turned to follow. She recognized the harpy right away, despite the vast differences in her appearance. It was a strange feeling for Spitfire, seeing one of her young pupils all grown up. Spitfire didn't often forget her students, but she especially could not forget one of her first harpy pupils and how different it was learning to teach a harpy to fly. "Oh hey! Wow, of course I remember you, but you have grown a lot!" Spitfire mused, thinking to herself how old she felt now.
"How have you been doing cadet?" Spitfire asked in conversation. "Still practicing some of those moves I've showed you." Spitfire stood back and moved to the side to admire the wings of Sparrow. Her wings were so much bigger now, Spitfire wouldn't have been surprised if her former pupil was a better flyer than her these days.

Kleta admired her handiwork for a moment before noticing that none of her cousins were firing off their arrows yet. The green goddess rolled her eyes. They were probably exhausted from battle and couldn't bare to life their arms to fire another arrow. She sighed, she was just going to have to shoot more arrows to make up for it. Kleta wasn't worn out by such things so easily.
Her eyes scanned the room for her next targets. A bright green harpy stood out to her right away, probably because she was so bright... and green. Somehow Kleta had formed some sort of vendetta towards the harpies since she had already shot one tonight. Kleta fired an arrow at Erradika, perfect shot!
Kleta looked for another target, spotting a non-coupled pair dancing together, they'd been spending too much time together and needed to mingle with others some more. As Kleta shot the arrow, her elbow slipped causing the arrow to fly off in a different direction towards one of Venus' statues. The arrow managed to ricochet off the statue and fly off towards Shahrazad. Oh well, at least it hit somepae.
They had won! She supposed this much should have been a given, because there was no way they would lose to ugly snakes. Snakes were gross. Deities were awesome. That was the obvious answer in Voluptas' eyes.
Of course, she hadn't expected to own the naga with such awesome. All of that time learning her bow and arrow must have actually been effective.
Speaking of...
Given her bow and arrow again, but this time a much more fun bow and arrow, Voluptas took out an arrow and spun it around in her fingers like she was holding a baton. Casually, she loaded it, pulling the bow string back and looking around the floor for some fun people to shoot the bow and arrow at. There were a few people on the dancing -- what in Dolandor was that wingless one doing? That was a rather boring dance.
Voluptas scoffed, shooting one arrow at him, and following with an arrow to the already loose demon he was dancing with.

Aracari silently followed her 'Mother', watching as the darker/brighter harpy flew about into unknown territory and on. Her yellow/pink eyes blinked as Erradika swooped down to what had appeared to be a large gathering of Pae!
'Strange...' Cari thought to herself. 'She's not attacking any prey...?'
She watched on a moment or two more before Erradika slipped into the temple and out of sight. This made Aracari bite her lip and think hard about what to do next. Should she go in and follow? Or stay out and wait?
The possibilities of either outcome was endless... Just thinking about it make her nervous and jittery. She made a decision then to follow her.
Swooping down carefully - just like her 'Mother' had taught her! Had she seen it she would have been proud - Aracari followed the growing crowds in, eyes darting this way and that for her 'Mother'. She spotted her dark figure and Bright green feathers and swiftly made her way over behind her. Her own feathers ruffled. Never before had she been around so many prey and not chanced a hostile take-down. Of course... never before had she been around so many prey before that she felt outnumbered and scared to even try...
Trilling a soft little hum of a chirp, she gently touched her 'Mother's' arm and nearly whisper-squeaked in her fear/curiosity, "Mama? What's going no here? What is this?"
Well, that one wasn't being boring. Voluptas blinked, watching as a strangely-winged pae'il got in everyone's faces and greeted them with an enthusiasm that envied Aunt Euphrosyne's. Hm. Perhaps she should calm her down a little. Yes. Calm.
An arrow was loaded and shot to the brown pae'il, easily, before she loaded one behind her back and fired it a little more randomly. It found its purchase in a pae'il that reminded her a bit of a ... cat? A tiger? Something furry.
At this, she laughed.

The poor naiad had little clue of what sort of minx Erylia was on the dance floor. At his own little awkward shuffle, she had to stifle a laugh. Oh, he's adorable. The golden haired female thought to herself, becoming even more intrigued. She could do adorable. Add some color to his life.
"Oh yes, I love Venus' parties. And no need for the miss..." She trailed off a moment before something pricked her behind. The demon jumped slightly, blinking.
All the sudden, Hjortur's allure seemed to increase by ten fold! "On second thought, the Miss is sort of hot." As the female slipped around the naiad, she let a hand trail across his shoulders. The alcohol shouldn't have been effecting her this much...
"Tell me more about yourself handsome. I want to know all...about...you." As the music changed, the female pressed her body against the males,a hand reaching to grab one of his. "Do you know how to tango? If not. I'll lead."
It quickly became apparent that no one seemed to notice her earlier panic. With a deep blush, she scrambled back onto her feet, eyes darting about. One minute she was fine, the next...It was that clawed freak! He must have done something, she knew it!
Her eyes focused on the sprite, embarrassment and loathing slipping on her face.
That is of course, until she caught sight of the most gorgeous blond haired boy she had ever seen. Instantly the hate fell away as she all but gawked at him. But he was by that cursed sprite...and with a female sprite. Was that his date? Could she somehow steal him away...
He was so pretty.

Kasmai had had so much fun last year (well, before the snakes showed up and ruined everything) that he'd decided to return this year to Venus' party! There were always so many lovely people, and it lifted his spirits to get out of the house for a bit and have some fun. He couldn't wait to meet everyone!
Except, now that he was here, he suffered from a bout of shyness and just sort of...hovered near the food table for a while. It had been so long since he'd talked to anyone new! How did one start a conversation with someone you didn't know? You couldn't just....march up to them and start talking! Could you?
Kasmai nibbled on some of the snacks laid out and played a little game with himself. Who would he talk to, if he had the courage? Who was the most attractive Pae here? He blushed softly as he surveyed the crowd. It seemed like a lot of folks had either come with someone or had paired off already. That was a bit disheartening.
Ooh, but who was that?
A long and lean purple Pae with soft eyes and silver hair. Kasmai bit his lip. Wow. He wished he had the courage to talk to him!
She heard that there was snakes here. Snakes made delicious food!
Find. Hunt. Kill!
Her forest green eyes darted back and forth over each individual that entered the temple.
Curse them... she thought to herself, eyes narrowing as more and more began to enter and partake in the festivities. I bet they scared them off!
She sneered at the idea. However seeing other feathered creatures - such as herself - enter without any sort of hinderance from the others had given her a momentary thought. What if the snakes were inside? Were they on display? Would she be allowed to eat them then?
She nearly drooled at the idea and shook her mind free of such dribble until she could know for sure...
Watching another enter in, Seruta followed. She mimicked how smooth and carefree the other had been to walk amongst the others freely. Once in side, she held great disappointment. No snakes....
Tch...
The snakes had to be here somewhere. She heard that they were here. Clearly, they had to be here!
Holding back a snarl-like trill of irritation, she fluffed her feathers again and began looking for the snakes in a more direct manner. She dipped to look under tables and behind curtains and columns... she even fluffed some strange Pae's hair, thinking that maybe some were hiding in there...

Unfortunately for the Harpy, there were no snakes in Adrasteia's blood red locks. The was a pause in the Fae's movement as she seemed to register that someone was behind her and ruffling through her long hair. She then turned, blankly staring at the Harpy a moment longer before tilting her head.
There was a long pause then, the two staring at each other as if delving deep into each other's souls looking for a rhyme or reason as to why the other existed at this very time and place. After what would seem like an eternity, the darker Pae's lips parted, sprouting forth the most knowledgeable of questions!
"Was there something in my hair?"
"No." Seruta answered simply with a small bit of a shrug.
Why is she staring at me like that.......? ...................................................
"... Weirdo..."
With another fluff of her feathers, she turned, looking under more tables and the like for those ever-elusive snakes. She'd make a meal of them! She would! She'd keep searching until she found them, she would!!

Iordanes sat cross-legged on a small bench, content to merely watch the crowd for now. Pae were pairing off quickly, he noticed. Good. The more love in the room, the better! Mother would be happy to know that any kind of love connection was made during her party. That's what it was for, of course.
He chuckled, watching Voluptas zip around the room and shooting pairs of mortals at random. That was one way to shake up the party.
But Iordanes had a better one.
His first target was a shy-looking male who'd been hovering by the food table for the last hour or so. Perhaps a new figure would give him a confidence boost?
Next, Iordanes' sight landed on a pair on the dance floor who obviously only had eyes for each other. He thought he remembered them coming in together. He smirked. A little test would only be appropriate for a couple as in love as they were. He took aim for the male, the color of the sunrise, shot, and watched with glee as the changes began to take hold. He would enjoy watching how they handled everything.
Mikasi was crusin' for some ladies. To make a point to Vangelis. Who wasn't even there.
Maybe he didn't think that through.
Ignatius was attempting to chase after him, and unceremoniously failed when Mikasi suddenly slammed to a halt and Ignatius stumbled over himself in an attempt to stop himself from running ahead. "Did you spot something?"
"Oh yeah, that starry man is eyeing me. You see that?" Mikasi pointed out the shetani biting his lip as he was looking in their direction. While Ignatius was about to say something along the lines of how Mikasi could really know that the other man was eyeing Mikasi and not someone else, or Ignatius himself for that matter, Ignatius saw the way the ... indeed rather pretty man was looking.
Dammit.
"Uh, yeah, but maybe you should reconsider--"
... Wait, what?
Mikasi was about to stroll over when he saw the man that was biting his lip at him was now a woman biting his lip at him. Was that normal? Did that happen? The nymph stopped in his tracks, nudging Ignatius in the side. "Uh. Did you just see that?"
The shetani looked a little surprised himself. "Yeah. Definitely just saw that."
"Is that ... normal?"
Not that the man didn't make a pretty woman, of course. He definitely did. Mikasi wasn't entirely sure what to do with the sudden change himself, though...
