Leo wasn't exactly sure where to begin answering the question. He scratched his head and grumbled to himself. Blurred images of the past flickered in his head like an old-timey film. Being kidnapped, the sense of danger, it all rushed back to him. The grotesque smell still burned his senses. As the memory played in his mind, Leo realized that the last thing he remembered doing was jumping onto the demon. Once his arm wrapped around the male everything went black, as if someone turned off a tv. The only thing I have a clear memory of is that night of halloween, up until I escaped the cage. He said in a distraught tone. Usually when Leon was in control it was as if he was watching a movie from the sidelines. This time was different, almost as if someone had tampered with the "film". He only had bits and pieces, a broken puzzle. Leo sighed in defeat before rolling his hand down his face. This was going to be a pain in the a** to figure out on his own, thankfully he had Sarah to help him out. His bright eyes danced down to the woman next to him. How was she dealing with this whole mess anyways? The redhead opened his mouth to ask but decided against it. He wasn't sure why he didn't ask but something felt wrong about it. Instead he retracted his gaze and turned towards an awkwardly posed man. Stopping in his tracks, Leo eyed the specimen like he was some sort of exoctic creature. His stance quickly changed into a friendly wave, probably towards Sarah.
Leo leaned down next to the blonde, whispering in her ear. Do you know him? He asked in a slightly concerned voice. She sure had made a strange acquaintance while he was gone. Leo pulled away from the blonde, turning his attention back to the male. He was slightly annoyed at being called "Sir", he didn't look that old did he? The redhead furrowed his brow, not exactly sure what to say in this situation. Hello... The name's Leo- Leon. Sort of... Anyways. What do you need from my lovely Sarah? He said as his hand wrapped itself around the blondes waist. He wasn't exactly sure why but he felt somewhat Jealous.

Her head bobbed in understanding, listening to the only sentence he let out about the ordeal. She had been correct in that sense, then. If that was the last time she had seen him, then he must have been lying behind the sidelines. Perhaps it had something to do with Leon hitting his head not soon after - and that had been what made him pass out onto the ground. She sighed quietly, shaking mentally away from the past ordeal; it wasn't a kind memory to run over and over again. "You don't have to try to remember it all now." She mentioned passively. They were closing in closer to the beach now, the docks cutting off towards a boat house, which then split onto a path made by passerby's on their way to either work, an event, or even back to Etoile. "I'm sure it will come back to you in one way or another." And if his head bump had been the case, then maybe it was, in fact, something only temporary that they had both seen as "fixed". Another heavy weight filled her chest, guilt swelling progressively over her. "Fixed". It wasn't something that needed to be fixed; but the outcome had sought it out as that way. She released her own fingers from her vice grip, allowing the blood to run back into them and placed one onto her chin, tapping her bottom lip with the top of her pointer finger in thought by habit. But things were back to... Normal(?) now. Another whistle of a sigh and she glanced up, seeing a familiar blue haired male on the edge of the dock not too far off. Leo's whispered concern swiftly made it from one ear and straight out the other - the tone unnoticed.
It had only been a few days since she had seen him, but the conversation was far more than familiar. Her hand lifted, words cut off by Max's quick greeting. "Well good morning, Max. I hope you're doing well." A warm arm swept her towards Leo firmly, her boots stumbling along the boards. A hand fell to his chest and she glanced up in confusion, trying to brush it off regardless. If there was a pink blush on her cheeks, she didn't notice it. "Leo, this is Max. I met him out in the neighborhood the other day. He's relatively new to Soleil." She smiled generously to him, tilting her head to the side. "I can't say how much help I'll be, but I can certainly try to answer it."
Nodding as he was introduced by Sarah, Max offered a hand out to Leo for a handshake. "Maxwell Sullivan." He added, feeling it's necessary to add his last name out of politeness. Even though he looked like he was the most recent escapee of the psych ward just a few moments ago, he hadn't forgotten his manners! After getting the handshake (or not, he wasn't going to force Leo to shake his hand), he clapped his hands together and looked off to the side for a brief moment before returning his vision to the couple. "Alright, so," he began, seemingly a bit eager to hear the answer to the question. "I was wondering, since you two have been here quite a bit longer than I have, does the name 'Aubrey Clark' ring a bell to either of you?" He had a hunch that she might be well-known around these parts, seeing as how she'd mentioned she visited this town all the time. He'd hoped that she actually lived around here, but he'd be content with just knowing that she still existed at this point.

Leo raised an eyebrow at the bluenette who seemed to be very overzealous in the meet n' greet between the three. He sure was a peculiar guy, but he'd seen stranger folks downtown. Extending his free hand, the redhead firmly grasped the man's hand and gave it a friendly shake before pulling away. The following question did pique his interest however. Aubrey Clarke, an acquaintance he knew and his boss at work. At least according to Leon's memories. What did he have to do with her? Leo scratched his head and grunted, trying to remember the last time his counterpart had seen her at work. Once again the memories were coming back in pieces, choppy and unwatchable. The man grunted in frustration before turning his attention back to the two. Uhm...I don't exactly remember the last time he- I saw her. He said to the bluenette. He figured that the best bet was to head over to the place that Leon worked. She works at a local bar, the shimmering starfish. He said nonchalantly. He doubted that she would be there but she'd have to show up one of these days, hopefully the male would run into her.

Sarah's hand hadn't left the crest of Leo's chest, his heartbeat well felt beneath her fingertips. Max had been just as comical and lively as the last and only time she had seen him a few days ago. His blue hair was tossed in the wind, and as her gaze fell on it while he spoke, she couldn't help but wonder if it was a natural color. Of course, being introduced to the supernatural world since finding out about her own powers or the Incubus in a back alleyway downtown, the essence of belief overwhelmed doubt. It could very well be - or maybe it had something to do with him, assuming he himself had powers as well. "Aubrey Clark?" The name sounded familiar. She gripped a small pinch of his shirt, cautious yet clueless of grabbing any skin, to which she didn't, thankfully. The memory flickered across her mental vision, a flash of amethyst eyes and bouncing brown curls. No, not at all. She spoke, a wide smile on her lips as she polished a glass behind the bar. My full name is Aubrey, but not too people call me that. I go by Bree. But she hadn't know much else besides that. If it weren't for Leo, she might have thought Maxwell was looking for someone else despite her gut feeling.
"She's the owner." She added on. With a firm nod she released Leon's shirt from thought and looked up to him. "We were on our way to the movies. If you like, we could show you where it is?" Ever since meeting Leon/Leo she had come a bit more out of her shell and more attentive to the people's needs around her. If this was the friend he had mentioned before, then maybe it would be best to help him at all possible. She hadn't spoken much to the woman, but enough to feel acquainted and welcomed with a full wave and first name shout each time she stepped through the door. Though she was afraid it was true. She herself couldn't remember the last time she'd seen the woman either. "I'm sure you'd be able to find her there if anything else." She nodded again, slipping her hand down to take Leo's and guide the two of them towards the edge of the dock. Her fingers clasped around the edge of his palm to the back of his hand, blankly tugging him as if she had hundreds of times before. "Besides, if we don't know where she lives, I'm sure there's someone there who does." Not to mention... Maybe Leo would remember more if he stepped into the place physically.
Max's mood visibly shifted upwards as soon as the two of them gave him the scoop on Bree. If she owned a bar here, she had to live here, right? He managed to keep himself from getting too excited, as that'd probably lead to Leo thinking he was even more of a nutjob than he already did. First impressions are everything, his mother always told him. Still, a giddy smile graced his face as his suspicions were confirmed. He was going to see his old friend again, he couldn't help it!
"A bar? Wow, Bree's doing well!" he said in response. The Shimmering Starfish... Definitely seemed like something Bree thought up. Well, there was no time to waste, then! He started to turn around and head off towards downtown Soleil on his own, probably going to try to see if he could find the establishment himself. Spoiler alert, that wouldn't end well. "Alright, thank you for your help, miss Sarah and mister Leo! I'll see you aro-" He paused in his tracks as Sarah began to speak again, turning around on his heel to face the two of them once more. "Oh, if I wouldn't be a bother..." He responded to her offer. Deep down, he knew that trying to find the bar on his own would be an unmitigated disaster, so he graciously accepted the offer, trailing behind the two of them and taking in the scenery.
So this was where he was going to stay for the time being.... Well, it seems interesting, though might be hard to traverse since it was in the docks.. Thank you, guys. Kazuya said to the people on the boat who helped carry his luggages off the boat. After exiting off, he had his headphones the shape of fox ears on him, as he listened to music while he went off. So this is a beach home. Seems pretty nice, if it wasn't for the fact that Kazuya can easily fall in. Today was Kazuya Minegishi's first day in Soleil and he seemed to be somewhat melancholy of the whole thing. Most likely it's because this power of Varuna made him somewhat cynical, or the anonymous tip he received, or if it's because he left his friends and family just to go off on a random place. Either way, he was contempt with this. It was his decision. This meant he would have to call his parents any time he could. Yet all he wanted to do, was just find the one person who cursed him, and exact his revenge on her. That was all that's ever in her mind. But right now, Kazuya had been lost in thought and had no idea the whole time, either. He took his bags and went off towards the houses, looking at the numbers before finding his. Esme was pretty tired; it had been a fairly busy night at the Captain’s Deck after all. And the bike ride back to his home was taking a bit longer than usual as he pumped his tired legs to move the pedals. But at least it was a nice evening. It was getting a little cooler, but Esme did not mind that so much. If nothing else, it would encourage him to keep moving and reach his nice, warm home. Though he supposed that would happen a lot faster if he didn’t look up at the sky so much, letting his mind drift until he would realize, time and again, that the bicycle would not steer itself while his mind wandered! He had almost run into a lamp post, even!
Listens to the gentle waves at the streets of Etoile of the water front."This town would be more boring than the island if it weren't for the businesses that I can visit" he thought. He didn't visit those two others to look for a one night stand. More interested in long term relationship, but no one seems to be interested in doing that with him lately. Not even a single glance that hinted to that notion. Walked off to head off someplace else, he wasn't ready to go home just yet.[exit] .

Patrick and Hiro wandered to the Etolie district and it was starting to become a regular street he would visit often. Something about being near the water drew him here, but it wasn't a district he would be interested in living at. He was fine where he is at now and he didn't leave anyone behind he knew from the high-end district of Lumiere. "After she left there were no one left I knew on that street. No other neighbor cared to know about me" he thought bitterly. Watched Hiro do some funny tricks before left this street. [exit]

Kiyomi stretched out as she closed her front door. The morning sun glittered off of her pink waves and felt a renewed sense of excitement! It had been a long morning of moving box after box and she was ready to have some fun. Everything was fresh and new, new town, new neighbors, new friends and she just couldn't wait. She took a moment to enjoy the breeze decided to put off unpacking until later that night, she didn't want to waste the day away doing something boring. Plus...she really needed to find a job soon if she was going to afford to live here much longer. Kiki had seen a few interesting places on her way to her new abode she had been meaning to check them out. With a bounce in her step she set off down the streets~
