Draxus Versaw The XI, The Prince of Light

User Image
"Everything must be balanced. Even balance itself..."

"My people are my body, this is simply a vessel to carry the will out." He said in retort to her saying he was foolish to give up his wings. At the news that others had followed in his footsteps his face turned to surprise and then sadness. "I didn't know that I had caused people such pain because of my act... I hope they were granted with at least the knowledge of light and darkness." What surprised him more however is that people were starting to slowly learn of the God of Light, he was a very minor god in Abraxian Society, and not very powerful either. The gods of wind and harvest were much stronger, and after that was water and then earth.

They entered Magdalenia's room and when he was sworn to secrecy he spoke simply. "Of course, if it is that dire then this information shall not leave this room, not even my father's ears shall hear of it." Even if she had turned her body away, that did not mean Draxus simply watched, again, just like he had in the throne room, his eyes went to the floor and started burning holes into it, so focused was he on listening and not looking up. "The man you killed in the throne room, I am guessing he is... Was one of those people." He switched from present tense to past tense so as to honor the death.

At the mentioning of the story Draxus looked up and then gave a puzzling look. "Yes, every educated, and even most uneducated people know of the story." Draxus didn't want to say, but what did the story have to do with current events other than the blue stone was what drove these people to fight a shadow war. "On another note High Queen, do you think your maid that attacked Queen Victorianna Bethany Renee is connected with this faction?"

High Queen
Magdalenia Cailleach

The Shining Dragon

l was born to Nothing
And Raised to Nothing
If you come from Nothing
when everyone has Something...

Magdalenia went over and sat on her bed "Actually no, the Maid was my doing. Victorianna pissed me off one to many times with her insults" she said to him calmly her voice softly as she started to braid her hair "when people to not know respect they need to be learned a lesson. Victorianna knew that I was controlling the maids actions, that's why she didn't kill her as she could have easily done" she said calmly. "Don't worry it won't happen again" she said

Magdalenia looked at Draxus "yes the man I threw from the throne room was part of the fraction, he even admitted to it before he shot me." she said and then sighed as she finished braiding her hair, she looked back at Draxus and said "The blue stones protect us, and also they destroy us. The Fraction It seems wants the latter" she said

.....Would you take something
Just to say it was yours?
Or would you become something
to have everything?

Basil Pyriel Storm, Prince of Ethe
Ivory Tempest

"As gentle as the calm breeze, As wrathful as the ravaging storm."

His smirk ever present, Basil looked up to the woman as she was to advance ahead of him, his posture returning as he was to stand tall once again. "Very cute." Was his response to the woman mocking his words. He found it childish and in honesty he didn't expect such behavior from one of noble blood at her age, though he figured from the beginning, where she ran into him repeatedly, that she was anything but your average noble who thought of only reputation and greed.

As the woman was to continue with her dramatic and childish actions to accompany her words, Basil would only listen while she would continue to try and define him by his appearance, he could only assume she thought this act of hers would irritate him, causing him to act out in a most typical manner for those of royal blood, but oh how wrong she was. "Coming from one who doesn't watch what is ahead of them, though I'll take your constant use of the term pretty as your being quite taken with my looks." He would state, a most sarcastic tone evident. "Though you are right, I agree that anyone could dress the part given the means, yet by no means could you compare me to them. This title I was given since birth does not define who I am, but only a reminder that I don't live only for myself. You should try to remember that as well." He added before she was to continue on. "You royals? Sorry to burst your bubble, but I could care less about how you present yourself." He stated as he was to face towards her. "Denial is always the first sign of one becoming aware of their illusions, but what you speak is only in a matter of opinion. When those of low born look to those of noble blood, they expect nothing less than class and grace from us, amongst other things, so that is what they see. Even with the noble families, they look to one another aiming to judge and compare, thus what you consider graceful they might see it otherwise." He says with a serious tone, though at her last statement of the topic, he couldn't help but to chuckle. "Ten times the prowess? Who are you trying to convince, me or yourself?" He says condescendingly, his hazel eyes cutting up at her as his confidence in his battle skills showed in his eyes alone, no more words being needed on the matter. He was becoming quite bored in this discussion anyways but when the woman bowed to him, her chest threatening to jump out at him, his mind swayed to the thoughts of her hidden figure as a whole.

As the woman was to rise, Basil shook the impure thoughts from his mind and watched as she advanced back down the stairs, after she had made such a fuss for him to hurry up. The young dragon stood at nearly eye level with his 'adversary' even with her being a step higher, becoming a bit confused at the fact she put a finger to his lips, yet he did not move, only producing yet another smirk at her words. "We'll see." He simply responded to her comment of being out of his league, but what happened next caused a small fit of laughter, even after he tried to hold it back yet the scene was just too grand, and it sure as hell lightened up the moment. "And we're back to watching where your going." He states with his laughter ceasing, his left hand reaching out to take her hand, helping her to her feet in process. He had noticed her green eyes before, but now that the space between them was so small, they seem even more enticing since the light hit them, like emerald jewels. "Thank you for having me, and yes, Ba'sil." He replied calmly as he regained his composure. "Would milady be so kind as to grace me with her name?" He would inquire, though in that moment they were interrupted before an all to familiar voice would call out to them.

Looking to the source to find his father, at the mention of the young woman's name and position, Basil would look back to the newly recognized princess a bit surprised. "High Princess Sonaria?" He questioned, waiting for confirmation before addressing his father. "My trip was worth the travel and freeing. I can't remember the last time I was able to roam the skies so freely." He would briefly respond as he would climb the stairs, escorting Sonaria hand in hand. By the time they were to reach the top is when the man started 'playing' father, questioning his manners and even insinuating that the princess could be his wife someday. Normally most would be embarrassed but Basil remained calm as he simply released the princesses hand and advanced towards his father. "Why of course father, I've been the perfect gentleman." He replied, his father would see through his deception from the newly risen smirk on his lips though, now standing beside his older counterpart as they both faced Sonaria, Basil now leaning on his fathers shoulder. "But tell me father, you think High Princess Sonaria is worthy and capable of becoming my soul mate?" He would question a bit sarcastically as he teased, his eyes scanning over her figure.

"A gentleman is simply a patient wolf."

Sonaria Callieach
High Princess of the Fifth Kingdom

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.
Sonaria brought herself to her feet, picking up her water pack and putting it on her shoulder "Ah, no no no, Royalty is exactly as they say they are, condescending, rude, higher than thou's...blah blah blah" she flicked her wrist a few times to show that she had pretty much given up on the conversation. She yawned slightly and stretched, her overly small clothing moving in ways unfit for a princess of her standing, showing her waist and hips, but of course she didn't have that flawless milky look to her skin, scars criss crossed across her torso, razor thin and nearly unnoticeable, the product of the strongest blades in all the five kingdoms.

Looking over at Vanlith Sonaria smiled "It's good to see you again Vanlith, its been over four years has it not?" she said, her eyes becoming gentle, she had never heard Vanlith call her a b*****d, so she had more respect for him then she did for her own 'father', the high king. and when Basil said her name she just shrugged "the High Princess part is optional, most people prefer the name 'Formless' Sonaria, or b*****d Princess Number two" she smirked "take your pick I'm sure the rabble of GRACE and DELICACY..." she put stress on the two caps lock words as if to make a point to Basil, though it was more to irritate him, she didn't know why but pushing his buttons...or trying to, was quite amusing, since he didn't seem to react "...have come up with some new ones in the last four years"

Sonaria went over to Vanlith and wrapped her arms around him "We should catch up sometime soon, I want to hear all about whats been happening the last four years with you" she said and then she pulled away and looked at her sister, Gwendolyn. They had never been close, not to the point of sharing clothes or shoes or hell even the same maids, but they had bonded over the mutual hatred their mother had shown them...though in truth she thought Magdalenia hated her more since she had went though the trouble to get her deported, but that was an argument for another day. Sonaria couldn't help but grin at the Crimson haired beauty that was her older sister "Gwendolyn...Long time no see. It seems even when I'm away you grow more fetching." she said and looked her over, last time she had seen Gwendolyn she had been only 14 and Gwendolyn celebrating her 16th. "It may not show, but I'm glad to see you, sissy." she said, wanting to say more but unsure of how much Gwendolyn had changed, or if she had defected toward the ways of the Queen...Sonaria would test that later.

She walked back up to where she had been standing, which was right next to Basil, and finally she managed to say "I literally bathed with men from the Royal regiment, so yes, ten time's the prowess, if you where standing in all your Ivory clothed glory next to one of the army men and not one of these decorative boy scouts" she jerked her chin toward the palace guard "you look more like a new born whelp then a man of prestige and title" she said, Unable to help the slight grimace that over took her features when Vanlish brought up marriage "Sorry to disappoint you Vanlith, but I don't think i'm you son's type...." she looked back over at Basil, and yes, this time she actually did check him out, how his hair flowed, the shape of his eyes, how long his nose was, how his lips moved when he smirked or was just talking, his long legs, his white clothing, the way the shirt made his muscles stand out underneath...White was his color by all things holy it was. Sonaria found her gaze lingering to long, her gaze headed south, but she quickly caught herself and she snorted, turning her head away and just to cover up the fact that she HAD been looking she said "...Sorry Vanlith, but I doubt that Dragon is going to fly any time soon" she chuckled "Unless he can hold his own, hes not my type" she said, obviously not knowing about Basil's love of fighting.

Draxus Versaw The XI, The Prince of Light

User Image
"Everything must be balanced. Even balance itself..."

Draxus was silent for a moment and then nodded slowly. "I am glad of that, which means she will not be killed over something so petty. However I see you are dressed and safe. If I may, I will be excusing myself." Draxus didn't wait for much of a response. He simply bowed and left the chamber. He didn't want strange rumors floating around the two of a possible affair. That would look bad on Draxus and the High Queen herself. Plus what would the other royals think of such a thing if they caught wind of such an ill-founded rumor. He made his ways through the halls down towards the main entrance to meet with the new arrivals. He was not of this kingdom but he should still greet the other royals properly just as a formality.

Draxus stood at the top of the stairs and looked down to the others. They were laughing and having a joyous time overall. He simply stood there quietly in the background looking at the others. Princess Shenaiya and Queen Victorianna were both next to him. He hadn't heard the conversation started by Victorianna, nor did he want to overhear it at the entrance. Draxus gave them respectable distance, and instead continued to make his way down the steps towards the kingdom that was opposite of his own. High Princess Gwendolyn, another female, most likely another Princess, perhaps from the Kingdom of Zalto. Finally King Vanith Storm and his son, Prince Basil Pyriel Storm. As he neared he called out to the King first.

"King Vanith! So it was you who made the entire kingdom shudder!" He continued his walk down, calm and collected, eyes very even and keeping a level head. The past was in the past, he would not argue with these people like his ancestors had. As he moved closer he acknowledged the rest here, starting with who was related to Vanith. "Prince Vanith, you followed your father in the same fashion I see. Princess Gwendolyn, sorry about my complaining about my injuries, they get the better of me sometimes." He then turned to the one he did not know. "The smell of steel and men. You must be High Princess Sonaria Callieach. I have only heard of you in name, I am glad at the chance to meet you, not only as a warrior but as a member of royalty as well."

♜Vanlith Storm♜
☪"Lion's do not concern themselves with the opinion of sheep."☪
User Image
Vanlith looked at Basil's smirk and shook his head a small smile of his own appearing on his face. His son was just like himself, except that he actively sought the throne. Vanlith thought more than once to give up the throne to his son, but he still had much to learn. While his son was a genius, he still needed to learn the more important lessons in ruling a kingdom. He was happy that Basil liked being in the skies just as much as he did. Watching his son lean on his shoulder and eye Sonaria he chuckled softly. "Son, she would chew you up and spit you right out."

His attention turned to Sonaria when she told him that she was happy to see him. A smile came to the king's face as she came up and hugged him. Vanlith wrapped an arm around her and patted her head. "Surely you've had more fun adventures? This old king hasn't come across anything new." He let out a hearty laugh and looked between the princess's and smiled. "Ah yes, actually Gwendolyn. I was going to ask your mother, and I still will, but I want your opinion on something."

Before he could ask the question another person graced the group's fun. A smile split the king's face again as he moved out from under his son's weight and moved up the steps to meet the young Draxus. "Aye lad it was I. When would I not?" Another laugh came from Vanlith's mouth as he clapped Draxus on the shouler. "How has your father been and will he be here?" He smiled as Draxus interacted with everyone, rolling his eyes he clapped the young man on the back maybe a little too hard without realizing it. "Stop with the formalities child, no one here is going to report you for not showing proper procedure."

Clara sighed, looking out the fast traveling carriage window. She had completely forgotten about the gathering of the kingdoms. Not for the first time, she wished she could remember important things like this.

She had been reading a book, when one of her servants spoke up in a small voice. "Your highness, shouldn't we get going?" "Going where?" asked the princess without looking up. "For the gathering, your highness," Said the maid. Clara paused. Then she shrieked. "The gathering! Oh, how could I forget! Yes, lets go now!" Clara rushed to ready herself for departure. The carriage was waiting for her at the gates. She was about to leave, when she remembered."I forgot my book..." She said to herself quietly. 'Well no going back for it now' She thought.

And so, Clara sat in the carriage, bored out of her mind the whole time. She couldn't be happier to see the castle of blue stone. As the carriage slowed, she took a few deep breathes to calm and ready herself. She exited the carriage, her head held high. She noticed that the other royals had already arrived. She gave a small sigh.' Of course I'm late.'She thought, trying to remain calm. She approached the group slowly.

"Love them anyway."

- High Princess Gwendolyn Cailleach of the Fifth Kingdom -

Gwendolyn smiled as she watched from the window of what was taking place down below, a spark of brightness appearing as she caught a glimpse of a familiar face, one that she hadn't seen often, recognizing her as her sister. A small smile graced her countenance, happy to finally see her once again. "Aye." She said softly as she caught one last glimpse at the steps before following the dragon king from the path they had come from, going to greet the two. Upon reaching there, the girl simply smiled at the two, one was of welcome and the other was of joy. Given, the two hadn't necessarily shared a closeness that sisters would, but at the same time, she did care for her sister and her well being. It made her smile to see that she was well. "I could say the came about you Sonaria. You seem to grow more each time I see you. It brings me joy to see you well." The fiery haired female said sincerely, probably for the first time in ages. She paused as Sonaria said that she was glad to see her, before smiling warmly. "Welcome back Sonaria." Gwendolyn stated, hugging the girl momentarily before her slate gaze caught a glimpse of the prince of Abraxos descending the staircase, greeting the king and prince of Ethe.

"It's quite alright, I understand how weary one can get from such a long trip." Gwendolyn stated, thinking back to all of the trips she had taken in her past. The girl's gaze shifted to Basil and Sonaria, and she couldn't help the small laugh breaking through her features at Vanlith's statement about Sonaria chewing the other up and spitting him out. The crimson haired girl turned to the white haired king as he spoke to her, wondering exactly what it was he wanted to talk to her about. She couldn't help but ponder on it. It may have been important if he wanted to talk to her "mother" about it. The girl almost cringed as the word rolled off of his tongue, almost forgetting that she was her mother in the eyes of the kingdom. Well, to all the ones who didn't believe that she was a b*****d child. "I will be sure to do so, but might I ask what you would like my opinion on, exactly?" The female asked with an eyebrow raised in intrigue. It was then that she caught note of a female approaching the group gathered outside. She studied her for a moment, figuring that she was another princess. Gwendolyn simply smiled. "Hello there." She said as a greeting to the brunette.

"And disregarding it is not strength."

Ba'sil Pyriel Storm, Prince of Ethe
Ivory Tempest

"As gentle as the calm breeze, As wrathful as the ravaging storm."

"Well as tasteful as the latter two sound, High Princess will do, or I'll simply come up with my own pet name for you." Basil would respond as Sonaria confirmed that his father wasn't mistaking her for the High Princess whom he had yet to make acquaintance with up til now. The prince was well aware of Sonaria trying to get a reaction out of him with her slurs towards royals and nobles alike, yet as she would come to find out, he couldn't care less about others opinions of him, that trait he received from his father, though he did feel a slight irate that she was comparing him to such petty people.

Now leaning upon the shoulder of his father, Basil's gaze following the princess while his hazel eyes thoroughly explored the woman's every curve, her flowing raven black hair, the muscular toned physique she boast and the scars that came with, that made it clear she wasn't afraid to get dirty like many of the Princess variety, all the while waiting for a response from the man beside him and what he received in response caused a small chuckle. "That is a matter to be determined father, one I seriously doubt. Though what you speak of sounds rather fun and enticing of itself." He would call out to his father before the man left his side, the young prince understanding the meaning of his fathers words but purposely twisting them around. Basil then took this time to look towards High Princess Gwendolyn, the two were acquainted, having met one another a number of times when they were younger but it has been quite some time since they last saw each other. Receiving her smile of welcome, Basil would return a smile of his own before bowing as a greeting and thanking her, not wanting to interrupt the two sisters reunion, though for naught as Sonaria would turn her attention back to the prince.

He looked to the woman as she would resume part of the conversation they were having earlier and by her choice of words, a few things became apparent and a chuckle released. "Well it's good to know you don't shy away from showing off that figure of yours, but I would have to disagree." He responded, his words aiming for an reaction out of the woman. "See, while you may be right if one was to judge by looks alone, my choice of attire would give one that thought. But the very notion of it all is inconceivable. I may be the Prince of Ethe, but by no means was I sheltered and hidden away like someones prized possession while others work and fight. I could boast about my prowess all day but I'm not the type, I am a man of action." He would add in a matter of fact tone, his pride and confidence in his own battle skills being conveyed in his voice. Mid speech, Basil could see that Sonaria's gaze began to roam over his physique as he had done her only moments earlier, a smirk appearing upon his lips by the time she had realized her eyes wondering with her head turning away from his somewhat cocky expression. "There you go trying to convince yourself again. That dragon might have just learned to hover." He teased, though her next statement brought a more excited look to his eyes which was show casing the majority of his emotions. "I can do more than hold my own. Bring these men with 'ten times the prowess' and we'll see. I have nothing to prove to you, but I would like to spar with these men if they ever exist." He replied the moment before a few additions to the group became apparent, he wouldn't just outright tell her that this gentle looking man was actually a ravaging storm in disguise.

Hearing his fathers name being called, Basil looked to the male approaching and vaguely remembered who he was, it wasn't until the man got closer did the Prince finally recall the mans name and position though. "The name is Basil, and if your referring to my attire, what can I say. We Storms look damn good in white." He would reply before his eyes looked down the flight of stairs the group stood atop of. As it would turn out, the Phoenix' of Zalto finally decided to make an appearance, though it was only the Princess of Zalto who manage to make it so far. "Greetings Milady" He would speak, showing the manners his father was talking about earlier as he outstretched his right hand for Clara to take in order to help her up the last few steps.

Clara took in the group in front of her, and saw that at least one royal from each other kingdom had arrived. She assumed the Phoenix' of Bellris had already arrived."Look how early I am..." she muttered sarcastically under her breath."I do make the best first impressions..." She calmed and forgave herself, not wanting to set herself on fire. 'Though it would be an entrance to remember,' She thought.

She smiled at the crimson haired girl's greeting."Hello," She responded politely. Clara did not know who the girl was, but she assumed that she was a princess of some kingdom or another. She had never met any of these people, but she wasn't nervous. As a royal, she had confidence in herself. Her smile widened when the white dragon assisted her up the steps."Why, thank you," She said. She chuckled quietly."Tell me now- do you happen to fond of the color white by any chance?" She asked. Addressing the whole group now, she said,"I am Clara Rose, princess of Zalto. I'm afraid I've never met any of you before, and I am sorry for the daly of my arrival."

"Love them anyway."

Sonaria Callieach
High Princess of the Fifth Kingdom

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.
Sonaria scoweled "That dragon hasn't even got a talon off the ground" she said and leaned in close to Ba'sil's ear "if anything happened it would just be a fling" she said "Storm's don't stay anywhere very long, so I bet that's all that would happen...maybe" she said and when she saw Clara she almost cracked, and instead she started to panic...Not because it WAS Clara, no it was because she was getting to over crowded.

Doing her best to listen, her hearing starting to go in and out as if she was blacking out for brief lapses of time. She could still see everything, and had tried reading lips, but she wasn't the most focused of people. Her sister, Vanlith, Basil where all their and it was more royalty then she had ever been around. That's when she heard the voice of another and she turned her head, recognizing immediately who it was, Prince Draxus the eleventh. Sonaria's brain shut down for a moment and she was left staring at all the Royals...that's when she realized what was happening....she was having a panic attack "E-excuse me" she whispered softly as she took up the water pouch and tried to open the lid when she did she let it clatter to the marble stair case and start to roll down the stairs, but she wasn't paying attention as she brought the water to her lips...which it wasn't actually water...it was wine...watered down wine, but still wine. She needed this. She couldn't deal with so many royals.

After drinking about half a flagon of water she sighed, feeling a lot more like herself, her unoccupied hand still shaking, but her body was no longer seized up by the mere terror of being in the capital and being seen by people. The Stones where ever louder in her ears, begging her to run up the steps and disappear into the folds of the blue stone, their beckoning sweet voices saying they could open a passage for her so she could rest, but she ignored him, the thing showing she was hearing something the others couldn't was a single eye twitch that quickly righted itself and disappeared.

She was smiling as she listened and smiled at Draxus "Its a pleasure to see you...I...I believe we have met before but only briefly when you came here last" she coughed slightly, not sure if she was aloud to bring it up, her shyness suddenly getting in the way of her confidence she had earlier "I wasn't aloud in the court room when it happened but I saw, and I loved the look on Magdalenia's face when you defied her" she coughed again, clearing her throat, she sighed "forgive me, I don't mean for that to sound like I'm mocking you." she said.

Sonaria looked at Vanlith "Of course I wouldn't do such a horrible thing. Chewing someone up and then spitting them out is such a waste of food" she looked over at Basil "I would just swallow you whole." she smirked, for some reason her confidence coming back for a brief moment before she then turned back to Vanlith "Not many. Crushing Rebellions and suffering wounds from arrows aren't much for adventures." she looked down at the ground, no longer making eye contact with anyone "I'm sure it's much more fun to fly" she whispered envy rearing its ugly head for a moment as she imaged Vanlith in the sky flying free and doing girly loop de loops...though he probably wouldn't actually do loop de loops, that was just her imagination.

She then managed to Remember was Ba'sil said and said in reply, though he was already down the steps greeting Clara, she shouted over "Find me some time, I bet I can beat you down faster then any in the Royal Army can." she grinned. She would love some fighting, it would probably calm her down to the point where she didn't quite feel like her legs where turning to Jello. She would have gone to say Hi to Clara, but she felt like if she moved she would have fallen face first down the steps without any hesitation....sooo she just kept put.

Gwendolyn watched as the lady spoke. Someone from Zalto had finally made an appearance. Despite having seen the current ruler in the past, the female had yet to see the brunette before her ever before. It was interesting seeing new faces amongst the group. The fiery haired female greeted the Phoenix. "Hello, I am Gwendolyn Cailleach of the Fifth Kingdom. I'm glad to see that you were able to join us." The carmine haired girl smiled, though she looked around at the faces lining the front steps, noting a problem. There were too many of them. The group had grown large over the small course of time that they had been standing there.

As her eyes darted over the faces around her, Gwendolyn's slate gaze paused on Sonaria, or rather, her sister's features. Her exuding confidence seemed abruptly shaken by the many new addition of people joining them. Her eyebrow raised slightly as she seemed to excuse herself only to come back with a bit of unease. As the raven haired woman stood on the step, Gwendolyn approached her, resting a gentle hand on her shoulder. "Are you alright?" She asked quietly, her eyes expressing a strange mixture of curiosity and concern.

"And disregarding it is not strength."

Draxus Versaw The XI, The Prince of Light

"Everything must be balanced. Even balance itself..."

Draxus winced slightly as the hand of Vanlith clamped down on his back. He laughed nervously, but was silent apart from the small burst of sound. Draxus silently nodded to Gwendolyn for her understanding. "Then, Prince Basil, yes I was referring to both the style of clothing and your entrances to the kingdom itself." Draxus's attention then moved to the new arrival. "A pleasure to meet you Princess Clara Rose of Zalto. I am Draxus the Eleventh, Prince of Abrax-." His attention was caught by the clattering of the lid down the steps and Sonaria taking a large swig from the waterskin. He himself quickly disengaged the group and shot down the stairs, chasing after the cap like it was the most valuable item in the world. The fifth step from the bottom, Draxus quickly grabbed the small item in mid-hop from one stair to the next and then made his way slowly back up. All the while he was cleaning the cheap thing on his clothes and looking at it with an intense eye.

When he returned Sonaria began to speak to him and he only smiled, extending the hand with the small cap in it. "I am sorry for not remembering our encounter then High Princess Sonaria, as for what happened in the court room that day, I can only say this... I am not proud of my act of self-mutilation, but I am proud as a ruler that I saved my kingdom from starvation." He listened to the idle threats between two nobles, his grin not moving in the slightest. The two, whether they wanted to admit it or not, they were already good friends. Maybe if he said something he could illicit more of a response from the two and add to the strangeness of the already formed relationship.

High Princess of the Fifth Kingdom

Sonaria shook her head and managed to say "I've been away for a long time. and Royals haven't been nice to me in the past" she said, her legs still shaking as she took a deep breath, closing her green eyes for a moment...which didn't help. She laid her head down of Gwendolyn's shoulder and breathed deeply, her black hair acting like a curtain and shielding her face from everyone as she started crying silently, the only proof of her tears was the slight glitter of water as some of her tears fell onto the marble steps.

Breathing deeply Sonaria brought her head back up "thank you" she said, her eyes red from the tears that she had spilled "I'm not....I'm not use to being around...Royalty" she whispered softly "To many of them and I start to freak out" she said. she then gave her sister a tight hug "How do you do it....under her nose all the time" she whispered.

Sonaria looked at Draxos and smiled weekly "thank you...." she said, her hand shaking as she took the lid and put it back on so the water/wine wouldn't drop out. She looked at him and said, without stuttering "Thank you. and...Even if your not proud of it...I think it was brave" she said suddenly turning back into the shy wingless princess she was "To give up such a gift, to deal with the pain...even if you gained the wings back in another form....its still" she gulped "its still something that I wouldn't have been able to do, even if I had my wings."

Clara took in the names and titles she was told, and made a mental note not to forget them, even though, to her extreme embarrassment, she most likely would."It's nice meet both of you-" She said, when Draxus ran down the steps, came back up, and started talking to the warrior girl. Looking at her, Clara started to worry. She walked over to where Gwendolyn and Draxus were standing, talking to the warrior. "Anything I can do to help?" She inquired.

Clara's worries deepened when she heard the girls explanation for the sudden breakdown."I'm sorry to hear that..." She said quietly. Clara took a step back, slightly uncomfortable, and slightly upset at herself.

"Love them anyway."
