Radiant Anon Solsi The day following the start of the karaoke contest, a knock sounded on Tobias' front door. Sammy took a step back and tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear. She remembered shortly after saying good-bye that they never really decided on a place to hold the dance lesson, so she figured she might as well pay him a visit at the appointed hour. I hope I'm not waking him... she thought to herself as she waited, arms folded behind her back.OOC: ~ The horned male had realized the same and was simply going to head back to her apartment. He had dressed and made himself solid. Actually at the door, he was literally reaching for it to go when she knocked. Pausing, he raised a brow then opened the door.
"Yes?"
His eyebrow lowered and a smile came to his face seeing who had come knocking.
"Sammy my dear, I was just about to head over to your place."
Stepping aside, he opened the door more for her.
"Do come in. I believe you also noticed we did not set up an actual place to do this, yes?"

Sammy smiled up at him. "A little too late unfortunately, but yes I did." she remarked, humor laced in her voice as she stepped inside. "Thank you. Oh by the way, I come bearing gifts..." She turned to face him and held out both arms simultaneously as if reaching for a hug. "Tah-dah~ Cast's off!" she announced happily. OOC: ~

Radiant Anon Solsi Sammy smiled up at him. "A little too late unfortunately, but yes I did." she remarked, humor laced in her voice as she stepped inside. "Thank you. Oh by the way, I come bearing gifts..." She turned to face him and held out both arms simultaneously as if reaching for a hug. "Tah-dah~ Cast's off!" she announced happily. OOC: ~ "Nothing to fret about, and I see you found your way back here alright."
Closing the door once she was inside, he gazed down at her as she spoke.
"A gift?"
Grinning, he looked at her arm. Moving a little to the previously injured arm's side, he gently put a few fingers on her elbow studying her arm.
"That is wonderful news. How is it feeling?"
His gaze moved from her arm to her eyes and he slowly moved his fingers off her elbow.

Sammy nodded. "Yeah, small wonder, huh?" she joked, considering they first met from her getting lost on the way to the cafe. She bent and straightened her arm a couple of times. "Feels good as new. Maybe a little stiff from staying in one place for over a month but nothing a good workout can't fix. Sorry it's not an actual gift, unless you count hugs." Without missing a beat she jumped up and wrapped her arms around his neck. OOC: ~

Radiant Anon Solsi Sammy nodded. "Yeah, small wonder, huh?" she joked, considering they first met from her getting lost on the way to the cafe. She bent and straightened her arm a couple of times. "Feels good as new. Maybe a little stiff from staying in one place for over a month but nothing a good workout can't fix. Sorry it's not an actual gift, unless you count hugs." Without missing a beat she jumped up and wrapped her arms around his neck. OOC: ~ "I see it as good fortune."
His smile widened seeing her moving it with a fair amount of ease.
"I am glad it is better. This will make things easier having the use of both arms. Heh, do not fret about.."
His words were interrupted as she jumped up hugging his neck. His arms circled her waist a moment after and he hugged her as well.
"This is a perfectly welcome gift, thank you. Does this mean I am in the club then?"

Sammy nodded, her face nuzzling into his shoulder as she did. "Mm!" she hummed happily, one foot off the floor and the other on its tip toes to reach around his neck. She let go after a moment and shuffled back a step, smoothing the wrinkles out of her skirt with her hands. "I didn't know what to wear for the lesson, I hope this is appropriate."OOC: ~

Radiant Anon Solsi Sammy nodded, her face nuzzling into his shoulder as she did. "Mm!" she hummed happily, one foot off the floor and the other on its tip toes to reach around his neck. She let go after a moment and shuffled back a step, smoothing the wrinkles out of her skirt with her hands. "I didn't know what to wear for the lesson, I hope this is appropriate."OOC: ~ "I feel very fortunate now."
As she nuzzled his shoulder, he couldn't help a grin.
"I trust I will be taught the handshake soon then."
Letting her go as she moved, he regarded her a moment.
"I think you have picked a lovely outfit. May I ask what dances you already know?"

Giving a slight bow, he looked down at his clothes.
"Thank you. Yes, I pretty much keep to this color. I have very few other colors in my wardrobe come to think of it."
He chuckled, giving a shrug. As she spoke he nodded and crossed his arms over his chest.
"I see. May I ask where you learned what you know? Merely for my own curiosity I ask."

As he spoke he headed over to the small coffee table in the near center of the room. Pushing it back till it was against the couch, he then pulled something up on the laptop he had sitting on it. For a moment he was quiet, searching for something. Then he straightens and looks at her again.
"I am bringing up a few songs to work with. May I ask to see how you waltz? I find it to be a fairly easy dance and it will give me an idea of your sense of rhythm."
((I do apologize, I had to go take care of something. ))

Sammy watched as he pushed the table aside to give them room and search for music on his computer. She nodded at his request. "Sure. Should I just try it on my own so you can see it from there?" she asked. It made sense that way, though it might be a little odd. She figured she could always hold her arms upright and act like she was dancing with a partner though.OOC: It's all right. ^^
I'll be able to write this morning, but I have some errands to run later in the day.

Again he turned back to the computer and started a song. His finger absently tapped out the three count step as he listened a moment. Straightening, he turned back to her.
"Feel free to start whenever you are ready."
((It's usually a fluke if I'm around during the day, so that works. ))

As she started, he studied her steps nodding silently as she went. Looking up a little higher, he couldn't help a grin seeing she had her arms up like someone was dancing with her.
"I may have neglected to mention you did not need to have your arms up. I was going to see that once I joined you. You have the steps down, good. May I join you and see how you dance with a partner now?"
Holding out his left hand to take her right, he bowed slightly and waited for her to place her hand in his.
((You are too kind, thank you. Heh, and I thought I was the flatterer. I believe you are the more skilled one there. ))
