The young man instinctively took a step back. "...We-We need to go now." he said. Arron did not like the situation they were in for things could get even uglier if his counterpart decided to go toe to toe with the werehog.

The grip on her staff tightened as she looked from Kate to Monster. She was being stubborn, she knew, but leaving Kate down here alone seemed like a dreadful idea. Monster had fully lost controlled and her grip on the staff, already tight, tightened further. Auriga took a breath to steady her self and regain her composure. "Kate, I am not going to leave here. Even with the Witch, Monster is a fierce foe. And..." She looked at Monster once more for a moment before returning her gaze to the mage, "I do not trust the Witch not to seriously harm him. As much as I want to protect others from him, I also want my best to not seriously harm him. He is a victim in this too."

Monster's first instinct was to tug on the chains that choked and restricted his movements, and though the chains held fast, the tethers they had to the wall creaked alarmingly. But still the creature tugged...

And what could this knight do? Why does she have a staff too? she complained. Say something for me...Kate overheard the witch's words and sighed. Speaking for her, she placed her open hand against her chest and said, "I give you my word. I shall not harm the furball. I already promised to be a good girl anyway." Her hand dropped back to her side. "That's what Witchy said. Basically consider that an agreement between us." She turned her head to the werehog who was tugging at his restraints. She was afraid the chains wouldn't hold for long.

*peeks around the door, the voices of everyone had carried up to her*C-can you argue about who is and isn't staying later and get up here now? *has moved a few more things close by for a barricade* Please, get out of there . . .

"...Ms. Kate... Ms. Auriga... we ALL need to leave." said Arron sternly. His tone had lost its stammer because of the seriousness of the situation.

Her reply to Kate was lost to the sound of metal and stone straining. Her stance shifted to a wary fighter's one as she took a step away from Monster. "We could barricade the doors and keep him down here. That way no one gets the risk of getting hurt when he escapes from his chains."

And the escape was already beginning as one of the chains that held his arm in place was torn off of the wall, the potential prey in front of him making him more desperate than usual as he ripped the chains from his throat and worked on the ones covering the rest of his body. The group had seconds to decide, cause Monster was not going to wait.

With the first chain ripped off from the wall, the mage yelled, "f-fine! If you think a barricade will work, then let's hurry up!" She places a quick barrier between them and Monster and hurries over to the stairs.

The Lythcol mechanic was not far behind the mage. Before he ran up the steps two at a time, he scooped up the knight with ease & carried her with him. Arron was stronger than he acted.

Distracted by Monster, Arron's action caught her off guard, and by all accounts, was a success. "L-Let me down this instant!!!" She shouted as she suddenly found herself be carried off. She tried to struggle free, but the mechanic was annoyingly strong and his running up the stairs was disorienting for her. It was a miracle she was able to keep a grip on her staff. Her face was red from embarrassment and rage as all she could do was watch as the stairs passed by.
