Kalena sighed shaking her head
"and that is where you are wrong." she said
She then looked at the armored figure who came in thru a portal.
"I doubt you'd get any reception on this planet, sir." Kalena said
She then looked at the people attacking the mannequin.
"how much longer do you think you will need to defeat that mannequin?" she asked, her hand glowing as if she were readying a attack

I am the shadow, and smoke in your eyes.  The man shrugged, lowering his rifle a little but keeping his eyes on the mannequin, getting the feeling that this was a training exercise, not a battle. "Not that it would matter much anyways, appears that that portal has taken me out of communication of my....friend." He watched the fight wearily, not saying anything for a moment, before looking at Kalena. "I don't suppose someone here would be willing to answer some questions?" Ryan had been the last of the initial group to enter the temple, but fell into a trap before he cought up to the group. The floor had collapsed beneath him, and he had fallen at least two floors down. He would have been injured if it wasn't for the glimmering pool of water he had fallen into. The Gunblade wielder made his way over to a platform in the middle of the water and surveyed the surrounding area. It was dark, but light seemed to be emanating from the water. "Serah woulda found this place beautiful." Ryan walked over to the edge and looked down. Nothing there that he could see. He instead looked up. The light didn't reach the ceiling. It was as if Darkness was pushing down against the little bit of light that was in the room. And to that matter, where was the light coming from?

Renton came to assist Sophia. He slashed the broken parts of the maintain while it was startled by the sudden Thornsweeper attack. "....!" Renton launched forward an slash, thus initiating the attack. It tore up the path behind mannequin as it literally signaled that the attack was executed. This cut the mannequin in half. "'This might be enough to distract it!'
It countered Sophia's attacks, yet being inflicted with those thorns that stuck in the cracked or broken parts. Then, Renton came with an series of strikes. It was sent back from his finishing move, let alone being cut in half. The mannequin was about to be bombarded by the collection of magic. It was hit by it, creating a explosion of colors that lit up the area. Dust and turmit collecting from the impact of the attack. After the smoke cleared, it still remained, but some parts broken off. The mannequin watched as the two stood in the air and looked at Renton and Sophia. Unfortunately, it seemed the test was over. The mannequin kneeled, breaking apart.
'This generation hasn't lost its touch. Become strong and do what you must.' A voice was heard in the wind.
The boy slid back as he escaped the vacant lot of explosions. Renton smirked, raising his fist. "Yo! We did it!" He exclaimed. His keyblade vanished, leaving a trail of light.

Sophia looked shocked by her attack, her scythe disappeared and she fell onto a knee breathing heavily.
"whoa....what a rush...."Kalena heard the floor breaking underneight someone. She investigated and saw Ryan had fallen into a pool of water
"Ryan, you alright?"
she then looked at the group with her,
"be careful, there is someone here that....I am not going to look forward to face. Sometimes, the light is so blinding you lose sight of what you want, or of anyone else and your filled with what you desire and nothing else."

I am the shadow, and smoke in your eyes. THe armored man went over to the edge of the pit, looking down into it. "Anyone alive down there?" HE said, putting his rifle on his back. He was curious about this place, and honestly, he was hoping he could get back in touch with Zephyr. He would need the firepower in such an unknown location. Ryan looked over back towards the hole he had fallen through. Less light was coming down than should have been. But he did hear the two calling down to him. "Yeah, I'm fine, but I don't see a way back up. I'm going to go look around...looks like I'll have to swim." Ryan took a breath and dove into the water, swimming just below the surface.

I am the shadow, and smoke in your eyes. "Heads up, I'm coming down." The man said, before jumping into the water-filled pit, aiming for the platform. He made it, but the platform shook under his weight; apparently the armor he was wearing was rather heavy. Still, the platform stayed strong, so there was no cause for alarm. He looked around the pit, turning on a spotlight located on his helmet, but the light seemed to be unable to reach the ceiling, like the light from the water. THe man wondered if his armor was running out of power, but that wasn't likely, and a quick check of systems revealed his armor to be in working order. Something odd was happenning here...but what? He looked at the boy who had fallen in earlier, tracking him with his spotlight and looking out for any hazards as he spoke semi-to himself. "I'm guessing from all the reactions here that this isn't something that normally happens in this place, huh?" I am the ghost, that hides in the night.Spartan's Oath:

 Niko landed with Kalen before looking down the hole. He sighed after seeing the metal man and Ryan below. "I'll go with them. Might be something down there and if its a dead end i'll fly them up. Kalen you stay with Sophia and Renton. Kalena....i guess you can do your own thing." Niko said before flying down the hole after the man. "No its not. I'm Niko. Whats your name?" He asked the man as he landed on the platform next to him. Kalen looked down after them before turning back to Sophia and Renton then to the open door that opened earlier. "Might be another trap....you guys ready?" He asked them.

I am the shadow, and smoke in your eyes. THe man looked at the boy who landed next to him, and though his helmet obscured his face, he nodded in acknowledgement. "Blaize. Good to meet you." He looked around the pit again, shining his light down into the water. "I suppose a little recon is in order. Any idea what this could be about? Or what it even is?" Blaize's voice was an interesting feature, an almost constant whisper, though easily audible, probably because of amplifiers in his helmet. It had a slight accent to it, one who, for one familiar with a planet called "Earth" would describe as a mix between an Irish and Japanese accent. However, his voice also had inflections that seemed not to match either of those, indicating that he is likely not earth-native, which he wasn't, having been born on a colony.  "We are here to find out what the twilight want within this temple. It may just be a distraction but i doubt it. We already have people heading for there fortress....where ever that is. We are within the depths of the temple now. Let us keep going." Niko said as he dove into the water after Ryan and his magic enveloped him allowing him to breath under water.

I am the shadow, and smoke in your eyes. "Twilight?" Blaize said, but followed Niko into the water. The weight of his armor dragged him down, but apparnetly the armor as also airtight, with it's own internal oxygen system, so Blaize was not bothered. Still, he held onto the side of the platform underwater, peering down into the depths of the pool, trying to gauge how deep it was. I am the ghost, that hides in the night.Spartan's Oath:

Ryan gave Niko and Blaize a thumbs up before heading deeper into the water. The darkness was trying to make its way down, but the light here was puahing it back. What was so important down here? Ryan drew his Gunblade and charged the cylinders. He then pointed it behing and up from him and pulled the trigger. It propelled himself down quicker than swimming would have. As the light was beginning to grow, so was a feeling of familiarity. Ryan knew he hadn't been here before, but it felt as if he had.

I am the shadow, and smoke in your eyes. Blaize saw the signal, and released the platform, letting himself sink. He was heavy enough that, unlike Ryan, he didn't need assistance to go deeper, the weight of his armor making him sink like a stone. To make sure he didn't overtake Ryan, however, he activated a small pair of jets on his back, which shot white flames, forming a trail of bubbles and steam in the water. IT was not enough to provide buoyancy, but it was enough to slow his descent enough so that he sank evenly with Ryan. I am the ghost, that hides in the night.Spartan's Oath:

Niko used his magic to propel him through the water keeping his eyes peeled for anything peculiar. He then noticed something along the rock wall. An entrance with what looked like a magical wall keeping the water out. He waved for blaize and Ryan to follow as he propelled himself toward the entrance easily getting inside and falling the ground on his feet before looking back at the magic wall for the other 2.
