@ Kagae:
Kagae "relocates" to the forge area of the castle after giving one last look at the Daidoji climbing a ladder. He doesn't check the Daidoji's progress of chasing him down, however.
Soon, he is in the forge area with a few other Kaiu idling about on a break, but no Daidoji immediately follows him within. The other samurai here only pay Kagae half attention, as they apparently can't be bothered to put down their tea.

The large Hida would pant heavily as he looked down at Kojiro, studying him and even starting to walk after him. "I hurd yoo were lookin' fer the baths," he started to explain after a few moments. "Daisetsu cin show yoo where they arr. Do yoo want me too?" he explained and inquired in a slow drawl, his eyes a little too intently focused on Kojiro. There was a distinct lack of answering the first question.

Miyako scribes the letter, trying to delicately put the events of the past week on paper. After finishing the letter, she would read over it, and found that... well, you really couldn't put what happened in a good light. Or at least, she couldn't.
You aren't sure if this accurately portrays what you wanted to get across. But that's the benefit of letter-writing, is that you don't have to send your weaker works if you don't have to. The only time you waste is your own.
This will take some time, so as a heads up, I'd like the others to have an opportunity to catch up.

Denbe was badly hurt, but even an injured hare was still a speedy and agile creature. Leaping upwards, he would deliver a fierce kick that would likely send the aggressor reeling in pain!
Noriyori spends a void point to reduce damage by 10
Stumbling, yes, but nothing broke, not even his will. Growling deeply, he would rush Denbe, in an attempt to ram him against the stone wall of the castle with all his might!
Full Attack Stance, 2 raises to reduce the TN, 3 raises to make it a Knockdown. 30 vs TN 19+15-10 = hit. 13 damage, and 21 on his Strength+Insight roll. Denbe, roll me your Earth+Insight, and then go unconscious.

Everything seemed to be moving a bit slow. Mostly himself, as Denbe seemed to settle to the ground with a gentle heaviness, falling deep into bent knees, he'd already realized he wouldn't be up again in time.
He had just enough time to see the Crab not go down- and hold his arms in front of him as the weight of a mountain thrust through the guard into his gut and chest...

"I think I'm just going to get dinner and then go to sleep. This castle isn't unlike the one I grew up in....and is a lot unlike the one I trained in, but that one was made by a Kaiu too, so I'll be fine."
With that, Kojiro would move to the Mess Hall.

The Hida creeper would suddenly be alarmed, and hurry after Kojiro. "Ah! Wait, Bayuushii-san! You don wanna be frends with Daisetsuu?" he would exclaim, his voice strained by the emotional trauma of Kojiro walking off. "Daisetsuu wanna get to knoo Bayuushii-san!"
He's not preventing you from getting to that mess hall, but he sounds awfully distressed, Kojiro.

"OK. I'll be your friend, Daisetsu-san. I warn you. I'm not going to be here for long. I suppose if I'm still here tomorrow, we can talk...but I've got things I need to do today and tomorrow. I should be passing back through this castle on the way home though."

Daisetsu's heart seems to sink, and he frowns, pudgy cheeks drooping a bit as a result. "Daisetsuu understands... Bye, purdy Bayuushii-san..." he says, waving sadly as Kojiro leaves.
*inhales deeply, and exhales*
You get to the mess hall! The Crab here are adjusting some furniture, but otherwise, not much seems to be going on.

Kojiro happily obtains food for himself and Miya-chan. However, he saw Daisetsu sulking near where he left the Hida and would try to double back and find an alternate route to the guest rooms. Once he got to Miya's room, he would knock on the door and await her response.

Glancing down at the letter, Miyako just sighed and rubbed her eyes. She'd just have to try again in the morning. It just wasn't coming out right. Hearing the knock though, she got up, peering carefully outside just in case it was her 'freend' Hida. Instead it was Kojiro.
"Oh thank Kami!" quickly grabbing a bowl of rice. "I'm starving. How much further do we have to go on this trip anyways?" And she motioned Kojiro inside even while she left the door open for proprieties sake. As soon as this was over, she was going to go home and never leave court again.

The Scorpion smiled as the little Shosuro hungrily took a bowl of rice from him. He would then sit down with his own bowl of rice somewhere opposite Miyako. Taking care that no one was near, Kojiro would state the following. "Our mission ends when we find Asako Shisui and return him or avenge him, or we are recalled by the Jade Magistrates. Who knows how long that could take."
Kojiro leaned back against a wall and ate his rice, wondering what he should put in the letters he would write to various family members.

The Kaiu here would gesture towards an open forge - one of many. There wasn't a large influx of new recruits all the way out here, due to the little action they did see. The demand was low and the supply was high, so the forge was minimally staffed in this region of Crab lands.
Kagae, if you wanted to work on your armor, now would be a good time for it.

@Tengoku for kagae:Kagae would strip himself off his armour and dry it off leaving it to one side. Then he gathered the tools he would need mainly hammers of different sizes, tongs and clamps. Taking off the top half of his kimono he would begin firing the forge up to a suitable temperature. Tongs in one hand and a hammer in the other he begun work on his armour. While singing a song slowly and deeply... Kojiro would eat and converse with Miyako for a little while. When that time was finally over, the Bushi would bid the little actress adieu and go off into his own room to write letters of his own. The first would be to his parents the next to his wife and son, another one would be sent to his brother, and the final one would go to his sister.
They would be a mostly truthful depiction of events after he had left the tournament and an explanation of what the Jade Wardens did, although Kojiro was vague about the mission at hand and Miyako had been downplayed to a "member of the Shosuro acting troupe" to avoid raising Koyuki's ire or jealousy. When they were done, Kojiro would go to bed, hopefully to wake up fresh.

Everyone's penalties from the first chapter are finally erased!
@ Kojiro & Miyako:
After waking, each of you receive a written note from Rikugunshokan Korechika, stating that he has learned of your arrival, and will meet with the four of you before lunch. Each note is identical, if you compare notes, no pun intended.
It's still earlyish, so anything you want to do this morning?

You receive no such note, having fallen asleep in the forge - if I know you as well as I think I do. Currently, there are no other samurai present, but there is one attendant who is cleaning out the forge - sweeping, getting rid of broken tools so they can be repaired, bringing in new materials to be worked with, that sort of thing. It must be part of his daily chores.
He seems to be willing to let you sleep, and doesn't wake you, though that doesn't stop you from waking.

You regain consciousness in a dark chamber, your head ringing, your body aching. You have been partially bandaged, which is probably more promising of a start of the day than you were expecting.
Though as you try to get your bearings, you sense someone is in the room with you.
