The robot begins spinning to fling Ruedra off. It then picks her up off the floor and begins to squeeze.
"TERMINATION!!!!!!"
Kaige didn't know what to do. He liked her for some reason,and couldn't bring himself to leave her.
"Okay,fine."
Digital code appeared inbetween his hands then alayer of wireframe,the it changed into a large Zweihander.
"Hold on!"
He swung it down with all his might and took the robot's arm off.
"Can you get loose?"

"I..Think...so." Ruedra was breathing very hard, and was pushing with the one arm that wasn't severly painful right now. Crack! The other of the robots arm broke, and Ruedra fell to the floor.
She got up and started running. "Come on. I can smell something. It's coming from there." She pointed to the direction in which they had just come from.

He followed,hoping not to run into Laire anytime soon.

"I can't quite tell.." She sniffed the air. "I know it's an animal. I saw foot prints back there." She threw her hand back. Ruedra was still breathing heavily, and now she clutched her robotic arm to her stomach.
"Ouch." She mumbled to herself. 'Why does my arm hurt so much..' she thought to herslef.

"What else is in this tunnel...? I know it's a mile long,but how many more dangers could there be?"
He sat Ruedra down and rested while the robot began searching for them.
"Hey.. where'd you get that arm?"

Ruedra sat down against her will. "I don't know..I just woke up one day, and had a robotic arm, not to mention leg, and a few other random places...." She sighed and pulled her cat of her bag, and began stroking it.

"Where were you when this happened?"
He patched up the broken sections of her arm with code that became titanium.
"And what other random places..?"

"I was here, in this town..I think....a few months ago..." Ruedra stated..a far away look in her eyes. She looked down when he asked about the other places.
"Fingers....toes..Even my neck..It hurts every once in a while.." She brought her hand up to her neck and pushed the hair back. There was a small patch of metal right there, like the skin had been ripped off.

"I'm sorry.... believe it or not,I know how you feel."
He bent down and pushed his ong black hair away to show a barcode on his neck.
"This means I am a product to be used between troops.... I was human once... or atleast that's what my memories say... I don't know anymore.
I've been modified beyond human."

"You're not the only one...." Ruedra stood up slowly. "We should be going, only a short ways left to the end of the tunnel." She picked up her bag and began walking.

"Yeah."
"HALT INTRUDER!!!!!!"
The robot was back,and it had repaired it's arms.
"I forgot those have self-repair units!"
It began to target Kaige and Ruedra again,but Kaige had an idea.
"It's crazy.. but it might work."
He shot the weak part of the ceiling and it fell on the robot.
"Is it over?"
The robot simply busted out and began malfunctioning. The camera lense changed from red to blue and it stood still.
Kaige walked up to it and tapped it.
"PLEASE ENTER USER INFORMATION."
"Okay.... 2 users. User 1 is Kaige. User 2 is Ruedra."
"UNDERSTOOD"
"Your orders are to follow and protect. As well as serve in any way that you are asked."
"SIR!"
Kaige smiled.
"Thing's just got a lot easier..."

"Wow." Ruedra's eyes were wide. "It did." She walked over to the robot, and looked at it. "Go and see if there is anything blocking our way out. If so, then do anything you can to get rid of it." She walked back to where she had been and watched the robot.

"User #2626866 is no longer recognized by the Organization," said a fresh troupe of operatives, aiming their rifles. This time, they were pointed at Laire instead of at the entrance to the tunnel
"What?" she breathed.
"User #2626866 is no longer recognized by the Organization," they repeated.
Well that was just plain ridiculous. The Organization's leaders were definitely losing their touch. Laire lifted her good arm and shot the frontmost gunsman in the face. Without confirming his death, she leapt from where she stood and darted into the tunnel.
Laire had always known in the back of her mind that this day would come, and she'd thought she had resigned herself to her fate. But her body was acting independently of her mind, and she wasn't about to argue with it.
