some backgrounds from dragon, if you're interested:

Early Life - Test Subject
You were subjected to tests arcane or alchemical, probably against your will. Do you still have visible signs of the testing, such as glowing eyes or a reverberating voice, and who performed these experiments on you?
Associated Skills: Arcana, Thievery

Pivotal Event - Escape
You managed to escape from your previous life, which might have been miserable or just stifling. Whom did you leave behind, where did you end up, and how do they feel about your escape?
Associated Skills: Athletics, Stealth

Pivotal Event - You Die
You died, either through foul play or by accident, and some person or event brought you back to life. Do you know what returned you from the dead?
Associated Skills: Endurance, Heal

Paretage - Draconic Adoption
You were adopted by a dragon. What sort of dragon was it, and how did it treat you?
Associated Language: draconic. Associated Skill: arcana.

Wow! Those EXACTLY fit the bill! O_O

If it's okay with Arc, I'll choose my benefits as +2 to Arcana, +2 to Stealth.
i did go looking for ones that seemed appropriate.

apparently there was an article a few months back that had a bunch of tables to roll up random backgrounds.

@Muffin, no, I only really had the chance to watch Next.

@Spork, he looks good, have you been boning up on your 36 stratagems?

@BADG, get crackin', we've got two sheets in already

Ok, I wrote up a Revenant Sorcerer. Does that work?
I can have the sheet to you by tomorrow.

Working on a character at the moment, namely a changling assasin. Since we're starting at 11, are we allowed a paragon path?

I assumed so, you get paragon at level 11, we start at 11

So did rain and i. As soon as you hit paragon tier, (lv 11) you get a paragon path. Of course, you can forego taking one if you really want. Can't think of a reason why, but you can.
Suicidesoldier#1 generated a random number between 1 and 2 ... 1!

Shield. I'd go shield anyways.

I just realized. Even with the boots, the pole-arm paragon path, and the feat, I just realized that there is no initiation of the push in the first place.

I would still need to use a push attack in order to push the enemy in the first place. O_o

There's a combat style in mp2 that tacks a push onto reapping strike. Also don't forget polearm momentum works on slides too. Rushing cleats + footwork lure = good fun happy success

Edit: my mistake, it adds a push to cleave, and the feat is longhand student.

Rain's electric shardmind sounds awesome, very sweet backstory. I can't wait to see how he and the cleric of Bahamut get along. The party currently has two leaders and a ranged striker. I see proposals for another sorcerer, a battlemind, an assassin, and a fighter.

To wit, there are only three slots left in this game, so it'll be a matter of who finishes their sheets first.

I just realized this, but, I don't have MP2.

Do you have MP2, and if you do, can you post what it does?
