 When Larkanna was bumped into, she looked down at the young girl and she was about to apologize for it, but the girl was already talking. Snapping her fingers, the dishes all started to reform themselves much more quickly than the girl's spell. "There's no need to apologize." She said emotionlessly. "And as a matter of fact, I was." Just then she felt her energy drain. If only it didn't take my energy as fuel... Following the girl to Elkand's study, she leaned against the doorframe. She knew better than to say anything to break his consentration, otherwise the spell might rebound and effect both of them.

He continued to focus his energy into the stone though he felt a little drop in his energy but he continued to focus as much energy as he would into it. e ignored Alister who cam in and set the drink down on the desk and silently left. He had reached his limit and like usual it didn't work and the stone split in half as he fell to the ground breathing heavily " I did it again...how did she do it...this requires so much energy." he said and went over to the desk and started to drink. He felt better and better as he did as it refilled his energy. He sight " Much better....thank you Alister," he said and looked over at Larkanna " Oh hello." he and motioned for her to come on in as he grabbed another stone and started to carve.

Larkanna felt energy being sapped out of her like blood dripping from a wound. Stepping into the room when he motioned for her to do so, sh emade sure to walk slowly, since her entire body ached. Sitting down at the desk, she watched as he began to carve yet again, barely keeping herself from groaning outloud. "How did I do it?" Taking out herbs from pouches, she put them in the second cup that had been set up and took a sip from the warming and now energizing beverage. "Having fun?" She asked emotionlessly.

He looked at her " No not you my rune teachers when I was at the academy." he said and sighed " This is hard...I've never been able to get it." he said and looked at her ' No.....I'm surprised yuor still here...I'm sure you would have left by now." he said and sat the stone down in the circle and looked over at her.

"I have nothing better to do... other than clean, but that isn't very entertaining." Standing up, Larkanna walked over and observed the circle of ancient runes. Kneeling down, she pointed to the one on his left, "That one isn't the right one. You're missing a couple of tiny details that give it a completely different meaning." Taking the piece of chalk from the floor, she added several little lines that looked as if they weren't necessary. "Now try it."

He watched her change the symbol but didn't say a word and just started to focus power into it and it actually work as the symbol on the stone started to glow yellow. He picked it up and looked at it before he set it down and sighed. He probably should have felt better but he felt way worse....a witch corrected his issue...a witch. He started to erase the symbol off the ground and started to think about what symbol he was to draw next.

Larkanna had stood and watched as he'd started his spell. By the end of the spell, she was on her hands and knees, completely drained of any energy. "Please don't tell me that this is one of a wizard's beginning spells..." She said quietly between deep breaths.

He shook his head " No creating runes is mid level...this is for beginners.' he said and pointed at one area of the wall and began to focus energy onto it drawing the magic symbol of curse on the wall. He sighed " I'll worry about it later." he sat by the door.

Larkanna lurched forward, her eyes slowly shutting. But she forced them to open and her weak arms to catch herself before she hit the floor. "Alright... that's enough for one day... please and thank you..."
"Well, that was an adventure." Wyrm said, the necklace glowed when he spoke. "You would make a miraculously powerful wizard if you weren't sharing energy and soul with Larkanna."

He looked at her when he heard the voice " Well....would that be your familiar?" he asked and smiled " I know that but were stuck like this until we die so oh well..no use crying over it." he said/ He suddenly felt what she did and fell to the floor " Oh...jeez." he said " You are seriously tired." He said trying to force himself up.

"Tired doesn't... even cover... it." She said as she closed her eyes and lay on the floor, crimson hair pooling around her, trying to keep her mind in the conscious world.
"A pleasure to meet you, my good wizard." Wyrm said, "I am Wyrm of Ancient Fire, one of the first dragons to roam this realm." Suddenly there was a bright flash and a red dragon the size of a large dog stood next to Larkanna's limp body. "At the moment, this is the largest form I can take on." Then he picked the witch up as if she were a feather. Taking her over to the table, he placed her on one of the chairs before walking over to Elkand, claws scraping the flooring, and gazed at him with amber eyes that blazed like flames, "Would you like for me to do the same?"

He looked at Wyrm " Incredible...I never thought I would see one...such a magnificent creature." he said " Mother always told us stories about..certainly a perfect familiar...though....its a good thing you can't get to original size..I like to keep my home intact." he said and shook his head " No..I'll get up." he said and managed to get up to his knee and took a moment to breath before he forced himself to his feet but he felt dizzy leaning on the wall. Alistair appeared by him suddenly his staff in hand. She handed it to him and bowed before she left the room. Elkand used the staff to remain leveled " There we go." he said " I have to apologize about that..I seemed to have forgotten the shared effects of bound souls."

Larkanna opened one amber eye and gave him a chilling glare. "Apology accepted." Her voice was quiet and barely more than a mere whisper. Slowly sitting up, she opened both her eyes and rolled her shoulders. "It's been a long time since I felt like this after a spell..."
"Very true. I would hate to have you lose such a fine place and so many interesting objects." Wyrm said as he turned into a red mist that glowed slightly and returned to the necklace. (( Warning: I'm going to be gone Sunday through next Saturday. >< Camp. ))

He nodded " Thank you." he said and looked at her " This feeling is pretty heavy...its gonna take a a lot of practice to get over this." he said. Alister appeared in the room with blue drinks this time and handed Elkand one. He started to drink it slowly and felt a bit better much faster than the last time. She then went over to Larkanna and lifted her head up beacuse it seemed like she couldn't move and made her drink it and backed up and left as it took effect on her as well. Elkand smiled " Good thing I have a potion maker here." he said.

Adrianna drank the liquid without any impression of it at all. Over the years, she'd gotten used to the tastes of different herbs and gagging concoctions. Energy was being renewed throughout her body and that was all the mattered at the moment. Stretching out her achy muscles, she said, "She she try using tropical roots within the mixture to make it more potenent. They're expensive, but I've got plenty of connections that could get her the rights ones for the cheapest prices."
