"Compared to some of the other girls on the mainland i'm not." Avery said quickly. It was true, Avery had a darker complexion because she was always swimming and outside, she was also more rugged than the other girls.

"You are very flattering Laru, but i am telling you i'm not the pretties girl in this town and one who can swim." Avery said. She didn't like the fact much that she did have some looks too her but she just ignored them.

Avery's face didn't turn red and she smiled nodding her head. "Thanks you Laru." she said very softly. He was the first person to tell her this and coming from him met all the more.

Laru began to smile back at her, feeling warmth inside as he did so, "Is it acceptable that I may visit your home? Ive never done so before." He said to her softly.

Laru began to swim backwards and sighed, "If you wish me to, I shall..." He said to her softly.

"Um... sure. That would be nice. I don't think i have any male clothing except for in the lighthouse." Avery said gently and crawled back into the boat again and began paddling towards shore.
