Nuna-- wow that's really awesome! :3 I think the hair looks really pretty too CactusJuicy-- It's so cute! And you did a great job on the braids!! I still can't draw braids x.x they're so hard!! Isn't it fun to compare old pictures to new ones? X3 Here is a new style I'm trying with:  I know her face structure seems kinda manly :/ and her eyes are uneven but I'm trying to sort of cel-shade [sort of], use gradients [use the clipping group option on SAI], and use thinner line-art. It's pretty fun but I think I really need to work on my color-choosing x.x

 This one I am really really proud of because I've always wanted to be able to draw comic-book style, ever since I started reading comic books when I was 8 I would practice everyday (especially Wonder Woman) and then I stopped. (I discovered anime) then I mastered that pretty quick, but I still practice and practice good anatomy, hoping to be as good as my ultimate favorite artist Adam Hughes. I also have been practicing with my Bamboo Fun tablet heart I'm still not good at all with coloring, this drawing started out being colored in but it didn't look right to me colored so I kept it black and white to give it a comic book feel. smile I enjoy drawing people very much and drawing eyes >3<

I finally tried what I always wanted.....after so many years X.x LEON!!! biggrin [X]I have a presentation on digital painting for my public speaking class and I needed something to draw. So I went ahead and did it >w< I've wanted to draw him for the longest time [cause his hair is so rad] but I was always afraid I would ruin him sad I'm not doing as bad as I thought, but I guess I'll just have to wait and see for the rest of it. Hopefully I can finish it tomorrow >w<

I have a suggestion for a NEW CHALLENGE >: D
As artist we often get to comfortable drawing in our comfortable style that we forget or ignore trying to explore new styles. So I challenge you to...
Take a character, any kind of character, one you made up yourself, or one someone else made up but that you really like. And try to draw that character in one or two different styles. : 3 AND try to make them styles you don't use in your current art work. wink
(suggestions of styles you could try if your drawing blanks.

Well, here's my first attempt..... Art Nouveau was my choice for the first one.... Ffffffffft, I respect Mucha a thousand more than I did before... Trying to figure out the pattern for the hair turned out to be a LOT harder than I initially thought it would be. @___@;;; This style is very intricate. It's not even close to what he's able to do but I'm pretty pleased with the results.... I think I'll turn it in for the monthly contest > w > *sneaks off to do so*

New Challenge suggestion
hey guys so I thought it would be nice to put out a new challenge out there if anyones interested. This challenge focus on hands and feet.
Draw 10 hands and 10 feet in different angles, and try drawing different kinds of hands and feet. : 3 people come in all shapes and sizes, and so do there hands and feet, try to get creative with this one.
