I've only ever dated four guys. All of them are straight. My first boyfriend and I were young(ish), and sort'f experimenting, and he thought I was pretty*. My second boyfriend thought I was pretty*. My third boyfriend decided (while we were together) he's bi, but I'm the only person with boy business he's ever been with, and he told me every day that I'm pretty*. My fourth boyfriend... the love of my life. He's the most beautiful, wonderful man in the world. I've loved him since the second I saw him, and have thought of no one else no matter how hard I tried.
His baby calls me "Mami", and it's just so adorable. My boyfriend refers to me as his girlfriend, and basically pretends the front of me doesn't exist, and I really don't care. When we're alone, we're happy together. We lounge, we play games, we talk... we play with the baby... a lot. We shop together. The only thing that bothers me about our relationship is that no one is allowed to know. No one at work... I mean. His friends and family know, my friends know, and my sister knows. While I hate playing pretend, I don't mind sacrificing my status as someone's boyfriend to be that someone's wife. Especially someone as perfect as him who thinks I'm pretty*.
So yes; I've fallen in love with a straight guy. Only one... but the other three were great practice. Like someone else pointed out, I think we all have. It really is inevitable given the ratio of straight guys in our lives. Weird stares, longing looks, and sweet talk or special treatments aside, most straight guys don't usually notice, and when they do, they seem flattered. Well --in my experience. But I'm pretty. *By "pretty", I mean I look like a girl for the most part.*
