Rumia wait quietly as the two left before taking out the doll and speaking with it again
"I'm sorry Finn to have wasted your time like that, thank you for coming with me" Suwako said as they got to the inn there was alot of depression in her voice as what Rumia had told her was beginning to set in

Finn turned to look at the girl, who now seemed much smaller now that she knew the truth. The sight was almost comical, to see a demi-god reduced to such a degree. With a grin, he slid his hands into his pockets and sped up, though kept himself behind her.
"I suppose you're pretty useless now." he said, and nodded his head in agreement with himself, even though the girl would not be able to see. "About as useless as a frog without a tongue." he continued, unrelenting, until the inn came into view. And with that, he sped up, leaving his words behind to sink into her head.

Suwako felt that was a bit harsh of Finn to say, but he was right in away with out her powers what could she do? the thought bugged her she could still use limited amounts of her power for now but even that was fading, Suwako soon made it into the inn her head down in thought and defeat

Suwako followed Finn to the outskirts of the forest as she paid close attention to everything around them "A few good trees should do us for awhile" Suwako suggested looking threw the line of trees for suitable fire wood

Finn slowed to a stop behind Suwako, lazily taking in the scenery. Quickly, he shifted his axe from his left to his right shoulder, and spun around to check behind him. The inn was still in sight.
Turning back around, Finn hurried to catch up with Suwako again. "Whatever you say, Demi-god," he said, "But what about something like that?" He pointed a little farther into the forest, where the fog had grown more dense around the trunk of a thick tree. Finn grinned widely, and strode forward to rest a palm confidently on its rough surface, swiveling his head to look back at Suwako for an answer.

"That will do, only we should've brought Suika to carry it for us" Suwako stated as she examined the tree being cautious of the forest she still kept her eye on the inn making sure it was still in view,

"Oh, we'll manage," Finn grumbled, hefting the axe from his shoulder as he stepped back to size the tree up once again. "We don't need Suika to do all of our work--" he stopped short in the middle of his sentence, squinting hard into the dense fog. Had he seen something, or had it been his imagination?

"Finn is something wrong?" Suwako asked she also noticed the forest getting more darker and it was eerily quiet which was unsettling "I think we should hurry" Suwako suggested as she ready her axe

"Gotta agree with you on that one," Finn said cautiously, looking around the forrest with narrowed eyes. He lifted the axe again, grunting at the sudden weight, and poised himself to strike at the tree. "You take that side," he said to Suwako, motioning to the other side of the tree, "I'll take this side. We'll have this rotten piece of timber down in no time." While he spoke, he kept his eyes trained into the forest, watching for any signs of movement. Then, he raised his axe and struck at the tree.

Suwako got to the other side and wait for Finn to strike the tree first then she would strike to prevent each other from clashing, she also kept a watch on the forest she saw the darkness and already knew it was too late, she could sense Rumia coming
"Don't cut down that tree!" Rumia yelled as she ran out from the shadows, two shadows grabbed the axes of Finn and Suwako to prevent them from doing anymore damage

"The hell?!" Finn said as he stumbled away from the tree. He spun around to find the intruder, and finally he spotted Rumia standing before them. She had taken their axes, which were being held away from them by two shadows. Finn watched angrily as the blade of his axe slid from its handle and fell to the ground with a loud clatter. Eyes narrowed, he looked back at Rumia. "Looks like we've gone and run into you again," he muttered, a note of annoyance seeping into his voice.

"stay away from that tree!" Rumia stated again look furiously at both Suwako and Finn as she ran up to the tree she reached inside a knot "Emily! Emily are you ok?" she cried as she pulled out a doll looking it over for any damages, "If you hurt Emily i'll never forgive you" Rumia threatened still inspecting the doll

Finn smirked angrily at the small girl in front of them. Being around other demons always made him want to fight, especially if the other was looking for trouble. "Shut yer face, would you?" he snapped at her, baring a row of broadly-pointed teeth, "It's just a friggin' doll! Not like it's the end of the world or anything!"

"H-how dare you call Emily just a doll!" Rumia argued back as she got angry the darkness around her intensified
Suwako got a bad feeling about this and figured it would be best to try and apologize and get Rumia to calm down "Rumia...and Emily we are sincerely sorry for trying to cut down your hiding place, but we needed fire wood for our inn" Suwako explained
"ok i'll let you have the tree but he has to apologize to Emily for calling her a doll" Rumia replied pointing to Finn

Finn took a step back and grimaced, shaking his head. As if impatiently, he crossed his arms across his chest and closed his eyes. "Nuh-uh," he argued, "There's no way I'm gonna apologize. I don't see what the big deal is, anyway. It's not like what I said was offensive or anything." Perhaps he was just dense, or maybe he was getting under their skin on purpose. One would never know.
