Alia looked over at Marius, "I just hope this is enough to attract him," she played a little bit more and thought I hope he doesn't recognize me and call out what I am. I'm making friends with Marius...that crab better not ruin this.

Marius shifted subtly as he noticed a flicker of red for a moment behind a rock. Unfortunately the crab said one word that startled him for a moment. "What are you up to, Princess?" Sebastien said coolly, slipping around the rock, his eyes flicking to the strange merman warily. Must be one of those wild mermen, he thought with distaste. Marius noticed a momentary stutter in Alia's playing as she shot a death glare at the crab. "I don't care if you're royalty or not, Alia; titles only mean something if the person actually enjoys the 'job'. Sometimes it's a undesired burden," he said softly. Sebastien snorted. "What would you know of royalty?" he said dryly, his tone cool.

Alia glared at the crab as he called out what she was, but she was relieved a little that Marius didn't care. "Well, if you bothered to look at Marius, you would see he bares Triton's symbol on his chest," she grabbed hold of the crab by his shell, "Now, you listen to me Sebastien, tell King Triton to stop accusing us of something we never did! We don't even know what Melody looked like and according to Marius, they were taken by someone who has a personal grudge against Atlantica. It isn't us! I know my Father and Triton aren't exactly friends, but you know we would help Atlantica if you asked."

Sebastien blinked, then tried to evade Alia's hand when she grabbed him. He then noticed the trident marking onthe merman's chest with some surprise. Marius had closed his eyes when Alia had mentioned Melody again, a memory flickering in his mind. It was more voices than images this time, however. "Because of you, you stupid twit, my Triton has a stuck up little crabcake for a damned attaché!" one woman shrieked. "You wouldn't have stopped there, and you know it! My father would have seen through you sooner or later; it was just your manipulation and attempt on my life that got you sealed in prison," a coolly irritated voice that seemed to sing even when speaking said in return. The other woman cackled. "Not any more, you irritating little b***h; you and those you care about will be mine until I get what I want!!" she shrieked. The voices faded away after that. He opened his eyes to see Alia looking faintly worried while Sebastian looked faintly annoyed. "Look into Ariel's past... that's the connection; it's definitely personal, but aimed at her.... Atlantica's reaction to it was more... icing on the cake to her," he said calmly. His head felt like someone had used his head for a ball in a teeball game.

Alia knew that look when Marius went into a vision, and she was concerned as to what he saw, but when he spoke, she then give Sebastien a look, "If it's connected to Ariel, then you would know more about it than anyone. Was there anyone in her past that had a grudge against her or Atlantica in general?"

Sebastien's eyes widened in surprise. "We need to get to Atlantica as quickly as possible!! If it's who I think it is... they may be in more danger than the sea witches!" he said quickly, clearly worried and concerned. "One thing's for sure... I don't relish meeting this woman, whoever she is... her voice alone just from that memory was enough to give me a pounding headache," Marius said dryly.

Alia's eyes widened as well, and she then looked at Marius, "It looks like the two of you have to go. King Triton forbids anyone from Coralia to enter Atlantica. Sebastien, if King Triton needs help, I'll try to convince my Father to help as well. Whoever this person is, they got Coralia involved and we won't take this lying down."

Marius chuckled. "I guessed King Triton was ASOP," he said softly. He noticed Alia's confused look at him. "Anally Suspicious Overprotective Parent," he translated. He was surprised when she giggled as if amused. He passed her the pouch with Melody's necklace. "If whoever did this knows someone survived, they may try to stop me or anyone else... if something happens to me... I don't care if you have to shove the necklace up King Triton's nose to get him to listen, get it to him," he said softly.

Alia took the pouch and she looked at him with soft eyes, "Please be careful Marius..." she looked at Sebastien, "You better make sure he comes back safely, or else I'm throwing you on land where those people who cook crabs are."

Marius grinned as he half turned, his eyes flickering around. "If they think they've got problems now... soon... it'll come up and bite 'em in the tail," he said softly. He let Sebastian swim a little ways ahead as he glanced back at Alia. I'll be back, count on it, he thought.

Alia smiled softly as the two of them swam away, she held onto the pouch as she continued to swim back to Coralia Please be okay Marius...I don't know what I'd do if you got hurt...

Marius cocked his head as they swam onward. I wonder if she'll find the pearl bracelet with the iridescent clamshell in the pouch I made, he thought. He blinked when the swirling arches and spirals of Atlantica materialized, glowing a subtle gold in the water. He shifted subtly when he saw a mermaid with deep purple hair and gray eyes passing by, glancing at him and Sebastien.

Alia looked at the pouch and noticed that there was more in it than a necklace. She looked inside of it and saw the bracelet, "I wonder who this is for..." she continued to swim to Coralia, but she couldn't help but feel that the water was getting colder

Marius glanced around when a flicker of gold and white caught the edge of his visiion. A large merman with a white beard and wary eyes held a large gold trident and seemed to stare at both of them.

Alia continued back to Coralia, swimming by as she saw another group of mermaids going out to fight against Atlantica. She took the bracelet and put it on, admiring it a little. It was beautiful...
