Will nodded slowly as a thought came into his head. He didn’t say it out loud for obvious reasons. He wondered what would happen if she focused on people and if they would blow up. He suppressed a laugh completely without letting it sound. “Well, that is good to hear,” the blonde said, referring to the part where Noel had mentioned that it didn’t hurt her. He grinned. No, he’d be keeping the specifics of his own “ailments” a secret, though mostly his ability with sound. The strength of hers was something he wanted to test out himself. “You don’t have to worry about anyone trying to hurt you. After all, if they try, just stop them the way you did today.” That statement would probably come back to haunt Will sometime down the line multiple times, especially with what he about to do. All of a sudden, he twisted her arm behind her. "Not normal? I don't see anything wrong with that."

Will smiled innocently when he heard Noel's question. The arm twisting hadn't elicited much of a reaction, so he let go. "Protecting the country in some way," he said sarcastically. They were in the military. What else would they be doing? As for the emperor, he had read enough propaganda and crap about him already in class, though all of it had been favorable toward the country and about the emperor's hard work. He didn't really care about meeting the emperor or anything like that.

"No, I'm not." And there it was. An honest answer. "Noel, you are too trusting for your own good. In the city, there are many types of people....I may not be your teacher, but traditionally, the new students get more experienced students as mentors. I will be your mentor and watch over you, if you'd like. And if you want to spar, mentors do that too."

Will laughed as he put a hand on Noel's hair and ruffled it around with his fingers. "That is some take on the world. You're quite optimistic." Will's view was immensely different. People were mostly toys and pawns to him, and if the world was made up of only goody two shoes types, it would be way too boring. The list of goody two shoes people included his own sister, who he saw sometimes as the same as his parents or even sometimes as a tool of his parents while she still had a mind of her own. The sister agreed with their parents on many issues, the topic of Will being one.

Will looked back deep into Noel's eyes with a smile. "I'm up for sparring any time."

Will raised an eyebrow at her. "Are those my only choices?" he asked curiously as he moved closer, seeing her blush, and moved in to randomly kiss her on the cheek. Now, he was just playing with her. "Nothing more than a kiss and a spar, Noel?" He didn't mean her any harm yet though.

Will had been expecting a slap, because it was such a natural reaction from girls sometimes. The super strength slap hurt, but didn't effect Will as much as it would have ordinary people because he also had the ability. He chuckled to himself as he watched Noel leave and spun around to go back to the boy's dorm. However, he would be breaking curfew tonight, and it was something he did often for some of the shadier aspects of city life. That, and he was going to set up a prank on that teacher that had caught him earlier and Tatsuya.

The blonde always liked the night more. It had that mysterious feel to it, and it was all the more fun and easier to do certain things. He would return later to his dorm after setting some deals. Despite his age, he was smart enough in his dealings to upset the others.

Noel... see you tomorrow. Will grinned as he finally finished up whatever he was doing and sat onto his bed.

"What the f*ck! TATSUYA!" The blonde had gotten pranked, and had been distracted enough not to notice.

The last two months had passed quickly, and Will was once again skipping work. More specifically, it was desk duty and reading a whole lot of papers. Some of the papers had random disputes on marginal land boundary disputes or "he said" and "she said" - person stole something and can't find it- things. Government official life sure had its ups and downs, and he wasn't even one yet. He was just in training for it, and he'd probably be assigned to some province soon.

In the last two months, Will had sparred with Noel a couple of times, and he had very recently told only her about his sound ability, and he had demonstrated to her via a prank. She was the only person in the whole city who knew.

The blonde was now standing below Noel's window at this early hour, and decided to throw a pebble at her window to catch her attention. The pebble flew up in front of the window. Once. Twice. Three times.

It was entirely possible that emperor would show up for graduation since there were a large amount of groups graduating.

"Hey, Noel, good morning to you!" Will grinned as he watched Noel free fall and then land besides him. "Early? Psh.. It was true that Will sometimes got up ridiculously late. There were some times that Tatsuya had to drag him out of bed by kicking him off the bed or dumping ice cold water on him. "Avoiding boring desk duty," Will admitted. And he had also received a cryptic note from his friend, Brand, about Genya possibly getting himself into something he shouldn't have without realizing it, which was strange in itself because Brand was never one for words. "Well, what about you? Have anything planned for today?"
