Zelda did as Link told her, running around Tenebre to his back again. She saw Sarri and bit her lip in nervousness, hoping her injuries weren't too severe.
Nonetheless, Zelda had to keep fighting, even though her magic power had begun to weaken. There was no time to rest now though. She sent out another burst of light in the signature diamond shape, knowing that her first attack did some damage.

Link seized his opportunity as he leaped upward and brought his sword down onto the dark beast's left shoulder, barely missing Tenebre's head. Despite the successful hit, Link staggered as he landed awkwardly, twisting his ankle in the process. He gritted his teeth in the momentary pain that shot up his leg.

Sarrianna Jae pondered her predicament with anxiety. She hated being left out of a fight, but she was having difficulty with her arm. She twitched a leg. Good, they still work. She frowned as she pushed herself up with her good arm, letting the left one hang down uselessly. Biting her lip against the pain, Sarri stood, breathing harder. I'm no use with a bad arm! she thought bitterly.

Tenebre took a quick look at his wound, then at the destruction around him and his enemies.
"You are taking to long. Nothing left to destroy here anyway. Take care of your dead city, you will remember it in your nightmares."
Suddenly dark energy surrounded him and he winked out of existence in Castle town, appearing outside and he tried to cover his wound. He started repairing it quickly, knowing it won't heal like organic material and he couldn't afford to let it leak out energy. When it was done, he slowly rose, and an idea popped into his head. He wanted the power in the girl, but he wanted to destroy things too.
He headed for the closest village.

Sarrianna mumbled to herself as she inspected her arm. Something must have been broken or something. She glanced over at Link, who had only a twisted ankle and a few scratches, while she was left the worst of all. She felt anger bubble inside of her, resentment at having to become the injured one.

Link rolled his foot, letting the pain shoot up his leg for three seconds before setting it on the ground again. He could walk it off. He sheathed his sword and repositioned the Hylian shield on his back. He blinked the sweat out of his eyes and stepped over a rock.

"I will live." He said to Zelda. "Just a few scratches and a twisted ankle. The one who really needs attention is Sarri." He glanced over at his sparring partner and found her eyes burning with anger. He smiled briefly, recognizing Sarri's fierce pride.

"Come on, Sarr. Don't be a blue Jaebird," He teased, using his nickname for her. This only caused her to turn red with either a blush, or anger. Link couldn't tell, but what he could tell was that she was not in a good mood. She would have laughed or smiled at him by then. His jokes usually calmed her down when they sparred and she lost, but now she was silently furious at not being able to do anything, but get hurt.

He shot a concerned look at Zelda, but found that she was only scuffed up a little.

"Where in the world is Miku? And with that, where's Vaati?"

Link froze.

"VAATI was here?"

Zelda nodded solemnly. "He kind of snuck up on us... The three of us had planned to go out to the town when he showed up. I haven't the slightest idea as to where he's at now." She then heard the little call. "Miku?" She cupped her hands over her mouth and yelled, then put them back at her sides. "I hope she's around, and it's not just my imagination." She turned to Sarri. "Sarri, we must get you medical attention. Let's get you back to the castle, stat. Link, are you sure you don't need help?" Zelda had the feeling this wasn't going to be the end of the attacks, and she needed her friends as healthy as possible to prepare for it.

Tenebre was just outside Kakariko village. The guards suddenly held their spears only in time to be pinned to the walls by energy spikes through their hearts.
He entered calmly as people started to run. Soldiers were getting to work making sure everyone was hiding safely, but it was hard with the great chaos around him. He took it in, feeling the terror and confusion as he felt his energy grow. He raised a hand, then a wave of energy suddenly sprang forth and demolished the people and the building in front of him. He saw the bodies strewn across the floor. He felt right at home.
"Light always beats shadow...how laughable. Tell that to these humans' pathetic souls."

"Zelda! Miku! Sarri! Link!" Their names were all called out multiple times by the guards, now looking for the two sisters, a fellow guard, and the Hero of Time.
"Over here!" Zelda replied, turning towards the sound and waving her right arm in the air.
"Guys, over here!" A small crowd of matching people raced toward them. "Are you all alright?"
"Sarri needs medical attention. Get it to her, stat."
"And your arm-"
"I am fine, I'll bandage what's necessary at the end of the day. I'm going to go walk through town, seeing what I can do to help out. I would like some of you to spread out and put out the remainder of the fires, please." She turned to Link as some of the guards went into town, and a couple went to tend to Sarri. "I repeat, are you sure your ankle is alright? There's a matter I'd like to discuss with you, if it is healed." Zelda then looked at the remainder of the guards. "And please, find my sister."

Ganondorf smiled again at Tenebre as he arrived in Kakariko village. He never liked the place... Too happy.
He approached Tenebre calmly as the terrified residents cowered against the walls in fear. "Good day, mind if I join you?"
