Wolfram Asher Davidson Yipe ... Only 62 hp for a wizard, but pretty decent base armor (19) - not to mention in many cases of this campaign, gaining low-light or dim-light vision from the dragonborn would be a good idea ... just my opinion. Night will play a factor in chapter 1. Well, I'll be relying on summons for tanking and trap triggering etc so should be fine.. 70hp and 24 defence atm gonna see if I can push it to 25 or 26. Only problem is I'll be pretty limited in summoning until the later parts of the game since summoning's all daily / daily utility powers.

Which sucks >< i got 62 HP from my test build and i also had a lot of summons put into the spellbook.

With those kinds of stats, and a campaign that is known more for puzzles than fighting, I am rather tempted to spread my stats out and make another skill-master bard, and probably try to secondary him a focus in rituals instead of combat.

If you're using a summon to be a trapspringer, go Shaman, though I suppose that's up to a generous amount o DM fiat to decide what a spirit can do in that context

So what to be? I see a wizard, a barbarian, a cleric, a bard? . . . do we need more defenders?
And tell me we've got a rogue for a freaking trap-dungeon

i'll have to ask around, but i'm not against using the "Buster" method of springing traps.
ALSO, we don't have many established players yet, but i'd recommend AT LEAST for the first chapter that we have one defender and one striker at the minimum. Even the first encounter gets a little ugly.

Sorcerers are strikers.
For a defender, I would recommend a paladin for the radiant damage. I'd expect a demilich to be using lots of undead.

Now I'm confused about this gear stuff, we get gold as per our level and we do what now with items?
