Nate shrugged, and whacked the stone. After the pointless 'boing' noise, Nate muffled his voice with his hand amnd said, "N here. Anything interesting happening?" Some angry screaming emerged from the stone. "Yes, I know, sir. Sorry, sir." Some more talking. "I'll think it over, sir," Nate said, whacking the stone again.

Lizabeth stared as Nate talked into it. "If you don't mind me asking.. What was that all about?"

"One of the Knights of Hyrule wanted me to solve another case for them," he replied. "They make me do it often. Something about a rich lady getting killed." He spun around one more time. "The butler did it. As if that hasn't happened before.."

"Eh. Not really. These things are too easy.." he looked out the window. "I should have a challenge."

Lizabeth thought for a moment, "But what if your challenge was too much? What if you couldn't solve it?"

Nate pondered this. "...if it's the kind of challenge I intend for it to be, I'd solve it or die trying."

"Hm... What kind of challenge do you intend for it to be?" Lizabeth looked at Nate as she thought further.

"Ugh, could today get any more boring?" Ryane said to herself. "There's nothing to do around this place..." She thought for a while and finally decided to go to Kakariko Village. "I'm a little low on cash, so I'll just go somewhere I haven't been for a while and possibly trick a few people into giving me some rupees. If that's not sucessful, I'll just look through a few bushes and whatnot. I still cant believe people are stupid enough to drop rupees around everywhere." She went to one of her friends and asked if she could borrow her horse. Her friend said yes, and Ryane got on it and rode off to Kakariko Village.

As Lizabeth awaited for his answer, she could hear a horse galloping in the distance.

Nate pondered this. "Probably the kind that the heroes of legend had to work through. Though with a lot more detective work involved," he said as the sounds of the horse grew louder.

Ryane rode up to a tree in Kakariko and tied up the horse to it. She walked around looking through bushes, crates, pots, and other things that she usually found a few rupees hiding in.

"Might be the Captain..." Nate said. "He got angry about my lack of face-to-face contact last Thursday*..."
*Thursday seems to be a day of common epic happenings on Earth. For more specifics, see The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
