It'd probably be best to get back to the jokes than heated debates people.

CASE CLOSED

Now then, Anyone got a joke?

LeonDecimus
Do you understand what you just said?
Dethklok is a parody.
And guess who nathan explosion is based from?
George Fisher...lead for Canniable Corpse.
-le gasp-
Learn your metal.

I can deduct from you liking Slipknot and Dethklok that you really don't know metal. Name one melodic death metal band from sweden. Name one american thrash band.
Edit: Technically Slipknot is a type of thrash metal. Then again, Epica, Nightwish and Within Temptation are all variants of metal. Unfortunately the diversity of metal allows s**t like that to be grouped with truly worthy bands like Strapping Young Lad, CC, Six Feet Under, KSE, Lamb of God.

Also, gonna go ahead and say this too, Atreyu is s**t.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAA.
This...this isn't a heated debate. he's right. Slipknot is for whiners. i really dislike that band. haha.

And if you're going to point out "real" metal bands, where is metallica, motorhead, judas priest....come on! haha.

Ok since this is music ill have point out, I'm agreeing with leondecimus and Guinevere, those are real metal bands, in fact some are even starters of the Genre(judas priest i believe). And as green day is to punk ,slipknot is to metal... though some of it can be good. On Nightwish and Within Temptation, those would be classed under Symphonic metal, or Metal with a more classical musical feel... which can be well seen in Metallica's Symphony and MEtallica (S&M) album If you want more well known or mainstream stuff.

LeonDecimus
Squad 17
This question goes to LeonDecimus, tell me, who's better? Navy Seals or Special Forces?

Um.
You mean Navy Seals and Green Berets?
Neither. They both do entirely different things and they are both good at what they do.

Ok thanks, this may sound stupid but, i was unaware that the Green Berets we're still active. I thought that they lasted until vietnam. anyway, what's the difference between the Special Forces & the Green Berets?

Well there are several special forces units now, codenamed their names in accordance with SOCOM, or Special Operations Command.

There is a worldwide unit in response to situations of 'Special Operations needs', and each corresponding country has a SOCOM desginated by the two-three letter abbreviation of their country, such as USSOCOM.

Because of this, the Army Special Forces is now called 'green berets' and we have rangers, Navy Seal, MARSOC, and the like. Every branch now has a special forces unit they can use.

I have but one simple question:
how bored must a person be to have read every single post up to squad 17's post right above this one? I was laughing all the way through too.
I offically have a new favorite guild. xd
